Glad you still do a great business. Four stars only because of your collection service not being available when buying by montly. You’re paid in full by the lender anyway, I don’t understand why offering only delivery option on this.

I have used Jessops annually to enlarge my prints using Acrylic and aluminium large scale formats. The service is generally very good, but when I received a cropped image Jessop's team decided this was my fault despite no evidence of this. I had the original and printed images reviewed by a friend, an award winning photo editor and photographer and it was only when I shared this analysis was I offered a satisfactory resolution. I will continue to use Jessops, indeed I have since this protracted customer service exchange, but I sincerely hope that their default position will change from blaming their customer.

Customer services was a waste of time

I found an old camera at home, and it still had the film in it. I popped into the Meadowhall store where Charlie kindly removed the film and sent it off for it to be developed. He was professional, friendly and helpful. Jessops has for many years been my go to place for photography equipment, staff expertise and great customer service! Thanks so much Charlie, now I await my photos! 😊

As soon as I walked into the shop I was greeted by the man that sold me my camera almost a year ago (he remembered my name ! ) and asked how could he help, I told him I needed batteries for my camera , he had none in stock but ordered them for me to be sent to my home , we had a chat about photography and I left happy with the service !

Suggestions for the camera. Did not have in sttick but got from another branch in 24 hours.

Good selection of items to see and feel in real life, rather than relying on pictures from the internet.

We would have bought a couple of items online elsewhere (tripod, battery) if it hadn't have been for the way the staff acted.

Very friendly staff and very knowledgeable the store was clean and tidy and well set out.

Ordered a SSD on Black Friday but it didn't arrive and I emailed in February to find it went out of stock with a global shortage. Fast forward to May and I find out (from checking my credit card transactions) that I have been refunded. Presumably my order is cancelled? Yet the item is now in stock!
Dreadful customer service, dreadful stock control!

Nikon Travelite binoculars. Wanted for an outing the weekend - so expected tall order to order on Friday and get by Sunday. Jessops' price was lowest and website said if ordered by 4pm on Friday I could get Saturday delivery (at an expected additional cost). Ordered Friday morning, delivered Saturday lunchtime. Good e-mails so knew what was happening, secure delivery via DPD. Happy with the product too!

Super friendly and straightforward process

Dpd lost my parcel. Ben in customer service was an utter legend and chased DPD down and even I found as the only person who cared about getting to the bottom of issue as much as myself. He called them after my call, and then after they seemed to have found the parcel within the hour.

Parcel was out for delivery on the Wednesday and Ben even called me to let me know and apologise again for the issue. Which he didn’t need to as it wasn’t his fault.

Ben and the rest of the guys at Jessops Customer services deserve a raise, a cold drink and should be paid to train DPD on how to deal with discrepancies!

I ordered an x100vi fujifilm form jessop, a fake estimation about the dispatched date! And after two months, they just extended the date of arrival! without any explanation, and when I told that to customer support, they just told me that you can cancel your order! I bought it from another shop, and it has been delivered now!

Good customer service with rapid delivery.

Ordered a £3000 camera body and the order moved to processed but then nothing happened with it. Got on the 'live chat' support function and was basically stonewalled but a very rude and unhelpful person who just kept repeating ‘it’s within our standard delivery’. Actually, I’d contacted them to find out if anything had gone wrong because according to what I’d read ‘Processed’ meant the order had been fulfilled and I don’t have it. If what he’s saying is right, and it is delivered middle of next week, then somehow along the way 3 to 5 days standard deliver has morphed into 9 days. Didn’t take them 9 days to take the money of course. They took that straight away. To be honest though, the person I dealt with didn’t look into it. They just kept repeating the same phrase without offering any reassurance that my £3000 camera hadn’t gone astray.

UPDATE FOLLOWING JESSOP'S RESPONSE:

Again, I was not asking about delivery times. I was asking for some sort of clarification as the status of the order indicated that the order had been fulfilled, suggesting that the item had gone astray. My point was that no matter how I tried to phrase this, the agent just kept stonewalling with a stock phrase about deliver time without looking into it.

Ordered for click and collect was told it be ready in 30 mins. Didn’t receive an email. Went into store had to re buy the item. Contacted customer service to be told that that don’t know when they can issue a refund.

Proper scammers

I ordered a workshop from the Jessops website. It was just what I was looking for. When I had to contact customer service to add another person Pete was very helpful and got back to me really quickly. But perhaps more impressively he came back to me again to check that I had received my confirmation and if I needed further help. I was exceptionally impressed by the personalised customer service. Thank you Jessops.
