On September 13, 2024, excitement filled the air as I set off on a journey to Azerbaijan (BAKU) for a thrilling Formula 1 race. The anticipation was palpable until an unexpected obstacle came crashing down on my plans.
Arriving at the Jazeera Airways counter to check in for my flight, I was promptly informed that I required a visa for BAKU. Confidently, I explained that as a US citizen, I could obtain the visa upon arrival in BAKU. Despite still having ample time before departure, the manager of Jazeera Airways adamantly insisted that I obtain the visa before boarding.
Reluctantly, I embarked on the tedious visa application process, only to find out that it consumed three precious hours of my time. By the time I had the visa in hand, the departure gate had closed, and my hopes of making it to the Formula 1 race dwindled.
To my dismay, the manager of Jazeera Airways turned a blind eye to my situation, refusing to allow me to board the flight or offer any form of recompense. They callously disregarded my pleas for a refund or a rescheduled flight, leaving me stranded with no options but to accept the loss.
As I reflected on the financial implications of this ordeal, the total cost incurred due to Jazeera Airways' negligence amounted to a staggering $1862.00 USD. From the wasted Formula 1 tickets to the abandoned hotel reservation and the futile visa expenses, every dollar seemed like a painful reminder of the airline's callousness.
In the end, with a heavy heart and an empty wallet, I vowed never to set foot on a Jazeera Airways aircraft again. The bitter experience served as a harsh lesson, teaching me that sometimes, the cost of a cheap flight ticket could far exceed its apparent value.

Scam airlines beware
Scam airline! Don't ever book from them. They took the money but I never got the ticket. Their customer support has no clue how their payment system works. They have a payment partner named SKYLR PARIS, which is also a scam. All the debit card payments goes through this scam company. They stole $500 from me! Don't book this airline!
Jazeera Airways used to be good
Jazeera Airways used to be good. I am not sure what happened but they are just hungry for money now.
I bought 3 tickets without luggage at the time and about 30 minutes later, decided to add luggage.
I could not find on their website where you can add and called the airline.
The operator told me in order to add luggage, I have to pay for change of ticket cost. I told him that I am not changing anything rather adding luggage, but that is the way you must add luggage so I had to pay luggage fees and pay additional 36KD ($120) for change of tickets for the same flight!
When I asked that I want to add wheelchair, I was asked to pay another KD30 ($100) that I couldn't believe they charge for that. I have traveled with reputable airlines and they do not charge for bringing your wheelchair.
This will be my last time I purchase from Jazeera.
A scam Airline from India
A scam Airline from India. Save yourself the hassles and just don't book with them even if they offer you something for free. They are thieves. They cancelled my return ticket a week then another week! Fortunately, I was able to book a flight with Etihad, otherwise I would still be stranded in that other country to this date! They do not even honor their own refund policy for when they cancel a flight. It is quite unbelievable.

Good evening, I am an Italian travel agent for work/holidays in Riyadh. I decided to come and visit Kuwait, I booked a flight with you, I wanted to check in my 14kg hold baggage but on your site you wrote that I had to do it at the airport. I arrived at your counter in terminal two of Riyadh, in addition to finding a rude and incompetent person in front of me, he made me pay 105 euros for my 14kg cabin trolley baggage!!! more than the return flight ticket, if I knew this price I would leave my luggage at the hotel since I have to return to Riyadh. In my opinion this is a CALCULATED THEFT, because you don't inform passengers of the cost they will incur when booking the flight, if you needed money, it's not the way to cheat people. I ask you for reimbursement for this theft, because when I return to the office in Italy I have the right means to give you bad publicity for your company in Europe. Not a good company
I'm 185cm tall...I didn't book an extra legroom seat, but the flight was almost empty, only few people on board. I asked to move as the emergency row seat was empty, but they asked me for money. I travel a lot and if you want to have an extra legroom seat you need to book it, but if that seats are empty, I can always move there. Always. In this case the staff was definetely not nice and they were rude. I won't fly jazeera airways anymore in the future.

Supposed to be a cheap airline. Quality-wise it is. Almost every flight is delayed. Very uncomfortable. Used to be affordable, now it isn't.

I live in the UK. They cancelled the flights I had booked from Luxor (Egypt) to Amman (Jordan). The litany of issues I faced were:
1. They sent an email with text pretending to be a schedule change. It was not clear that they had cancelled the flight from Luxor and the moved us to the next flight 5 days after our original departure date. That email mentioned nothing about my options to cancel and get a refund.
2. Emailing them did not help. I never got any replies.
3. I went to their website, where I was given an option to cancel flight and get full refund. I clicked on that but nothing happened. Later on I was not even presented with this option.
4. I tried to use their WhatsApp chat service (using two different WhatsApp accounts). Their chat bot would never let me connect to a human to discuss my issue. In one conversation their chat bot cancelled my tickets with a penalty even though I had never agreed to such a cancellation
5. Calling their Kuwait-based call centre also did not help. International Call lasted 30min but the person on the other side advised me to wait for a response. This response never came. Further emails also did not get any response from the airline.
6. A month later I was in Egypt for my 7 day trip. To resolve this issue, I had to go to the Jazeera Airways office in Luxor in person and spend hours of my time that otherwise would have been spent on tourism.
Only after visiting their office in person and taking video evidence of the complaint that I got my money back!
Given all this delay, I also lost money due to changes in the exchange rate (roughly 2 months between booking and the refund)
Previously, I have flown from London to India when they flew to the UK. Their cabin was very uncomfortable for such a long-haul flight.

As a requirement doesn't need PCR test if you had double vaccination with certificate
But they refused me to check in at Dhaka airport without PCR test
Tried to contact customer service but couldn't reach as it was not working hours it should be 24 hours customer service,later who was incharge in Dhaka airport blamed me saying I didn't go with my ID and vaccine certificate which was lie as I am traveling more then 15 years now.they refused to refund me so I went to dispute with my credit card and got refund after few months.they did not take any action against the person did mistake.i never go with them and won't suggest my family and friends ever
