One of the worst airline experiences I have ever had.
I booked my family trip with Jazeera Airways, only for my London Luton to Kuwait flight to be cancelled due to "operational reasons." I also had a separate Jazeera Airways flight from Kuwait to Madinah. Both flights were with the same airline, but they had to be booked separately because Jazeera Airways does not offer multi-city bookings.
The cancellation of the first flight made it impossible for me to board the second flight. Despite this, Jazeera Airways has refused to provide a fair solution. They insist they will only refund the cancelled flight and have refused to refund the second Jazeera Airways booking, even though it became unusable solely because of their own cancellation.
I spent £50 on an international phone call to Kuwait trying to get help, but instead of finding a practical solution, I received scripted responses and was repeatedly told that their policy allows them to do nothing more. I have also lost money on non-refundable travel expenses because of this situation.
What disappointed me most was not just the cancellation—it was the complete lack of customer care afterwards. There was no genuine effort to minimise the disruption or take responsibility for the consequences of cancelling their own flight. As a customer, I felt ignored and left to deal with the financial losses on my own.
Based on my experience, I would think very carefully before booking with Jazeera Airways. If something goes wrong, don't expect the level of support or flexibility that many passengers would reasonably hope for. This experience has completely destroyed my confidence in the airline, and I will not be travelling with them again.
Airline Canceled the flight and kept my money
I booked a flight from Colombo to Istanbul with Jazeera Airways. Approximately 18 hours later, I received an email stating that the flight had been canceled for "operational reasons" and that I should contact their call center in Kuwait.
Unfortunately, reaching customer service proved impossible. Nobody answered the phone, and my WhatsApp messages went unanswered. After finding an email address, I submitted a formal refund request. At the same time, I initiated a chargeback dispute through my card issuer.
What made the situation even more concerning was that the airline appeared to continue selling seats on the same flight that had supposedly been canceled. From a customer's perspective, this is extremely misleading.
Jazeera repeatedly closed my email cases without explanation and initially rejected my bank's chargeback claim. After roughly five weeks, I finally received a refund through the chargeback process, not through any assistance from the airline itself.
In all my years of travel, I have never experienced customer service this poor. Communication was virtually nonexistent, and resolving a straightforward refund required significant effort and intervention from my bank.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Jazeera Airways. If this were the only airline available, I would rather walk and swim than fly with them.
Very bad experience with Jazeera Airways
I had a very disappointing experience with Jazeera Airways.
First of all, regarding my itinerary (Dubai–Kuwait trip), I traveled from Dubai to Dammam by flight. At Dammam, no Jazeera Airways staff were available to guide me to the bus, which caused me a lot of difficulty.
Secondly, for my Kuwait to Dubai trip, I was charged a very high fare of approximately AED 3,400. Later, I found that the ticket price was only around AED 725.
Moreover, I selected the “cancel anytime” option, which cost me about AED 800. This turned out to be a poor decision. When I later tried to cancel my Kuwait–Dubai flight, I was informed that since I had already used one side of the ticket, the “cancel anytime” option was no longer valid. This condition was not clearly communicated at the time of booking.
After that, I had to pay additional fees to reschedule (prepone) my flight.
Furthermore, at Kuwait Airport, your staff charged me extra baggage fees for my hand luggage. The same luggage had already been accepted on my Dubai–Dammam journey. I ended up paying approximately AED 72 for just 1 kg excess.
Overall, I am extremely dissatisfied with Jazeera Airways. I will also advise my friends and colleagues not to book or travel with this airline. Additionally, the response time from your customer service center is very slow.
The less expensive option.

While not bad they claim to be a budget airline with almost premium prices however they give you luggage for that price tag if you are lucky.
Cancel For Any Reason insurance refund never received - 3 months waiting
Jazeera Airways partnered with HTS (Hopper Technology Solutions) to sell Cancel For Any Reason insurance. I paid KWD 50.760 for my booking (Reference: C4VQKC) on November 10, 2025. After cancelling, HTS confirmed a refund of KWD 33.90 on December 24, 2025. After 3 months, countless emails and no resolution, I still have not received my money. HTS kept sending copy-paste responses and never actually processed the payment. Jazeera Airways should be aware that their insurance partner HTS is failing customers. I have now filed a formal complaint with the FTC. Do not trust the Cancel For Any Reason insurance sold through Jazeera Airways!

Navigating Jazeera Airways website is a horrible experience.
Extra weight of 4.1kg was calculated as 4 kg and after acceptance they charged it as 5kg. Old planes and VERY uncomfortable seats. Terrible experience compared to other budget airlines.

I was travelled from jeddah to colombo in August 2025. From Kuwait The cabin crew took mine and my wife hand luggage saying that it's too heavy. But we travelled to jeddah to Kuwait with the luggages on the cabin. We had valuable jewellers in the bag. When we collect the luggage in Colombo our jewellerys are missing. I think cabin crew , luggage loading guys and scanning security guys have a good link with everyone. Probably they're works together to steal pessangers valuable stuff. It's very disappointing and unacceptable. I am very frustrated. Don't recommend anyone.

Not clean
When I first flew with this airline, it seemed as it was an airline that was properly taken care off (clean). Today I decided to fly with airline again and now it seemed as if no one cares about the condition of the airline. It was smelly and dirty as if it had not been cleaned in a long time. There was a pin stuck in front seat, dirty trays, wet magazine, dirty floor. At one point I would have referred friends, in this condition I will not.

I had one of the most frustrating…
I had one of the most frustrating experiences with Jazeera Airways. I booked a round-trip ticket from Beirut to Kathmandu and back. Initially, I received a confirmed booking with both flights showing in my itinerary. However, just five days before my return, the return flight suddenly disappeared from my booking without any explanation.
I received a vague email saying, "flight details have changed," but no clear cancellation notice. When I contacted their customer service, I was told that my return flight was cancelled and I would receive a refund. Based on that, I had to urgently buy a new ticket from Air Arabia, which cost me over $580.
Later, I discovered that Jazeera Airways actually operated the return flights on time, and I was never properly informed. I was refunded only $250, which doesn’t even cover half of the replacement ticket cost caused by their poor communication.
This experience caused a lot of stress and unnecessary financial loss just before international travel. I expected better transparency and customer service from an airline. I will not be flying with Jazeera again .

تفاجأت بتأجيل رحلتي لمدة خمسة أيام كاملة، بينما تم تأجيل رحلة باقي الركاب – ومعظمهم من الكويتيين – لمدة خمس ساعات فقط، رغم أننا كنا جميعًا على نفس الطائرة. هذا التمييز في المعاملة غير مقبول ويثير تساؤلات جدية حول سياسة الشركة في التعامل مع الركاب.
حاولت مرارًا التواصل مع خدمة العملاء لتعديل موعد رحلتي أو الحصول على أي مساعدة، ولكن قوبلت بردود غير لائقة وغير مهنية زادت من الإحباط.
وبسبب التزاماتي العملية، اضطررت إلى حجز تذاكر جديدة لي ولأسرتي من طرابزون إلى السعودية بتكلفة تجاوزت 10,000 ريال سعودي من حسابي الخاص، فقط لأنني لم أتمكن من تعديل حجزي، رغم أن الطائرة غادرت بعد خمس ساعات فقط!
أطالب طيران الجزيرة بتوضيح ما حدث ومحاسبة المسؤولين عن هذا التمييز، كما أطالب بتعويض عادل عن الخسائر التي لحقت بي بسبب هذا الإهمال.
Stranded for 5 Days – No Support or Compensation
I had a very disappointing experience with Jazeera Airways. My flight from Kuwait to Moscow (J9-335) on 9 May 2025 was cancelled without any prior notice. I only found out by checking their website myself. I tried to contact the airline multiple times, but their customer service was completely unreachable.
As a result, I was stranded in Dubai for 5 days, with no support from the airline. I had to pay for my own accommodation, meals, and other expenses. The rebooking was only done through my travel agency, not by the airline itself.
I submitted a detailed claim with all receipts, but Jazeera Airways refused to offer any compensation, citing vague “extraordinary circumstances” without explanation. They failed to fulfill their obligations under international air passenger rights, such as the Montreal Convention.
I have since filed complaints with the aviation authorities in the UAE and Kuwait.
Very disappointed with the lack of responsibility and basic customer care. I will not fly with Jazeera Airways again and cannot recommend them to anyone who values reliability and support in unexpected situations.
