What a joke of a company
THE LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE IS APPALLING.
I booked a cottage in Devon to take my pet along and booking.com didn't include it within the price so tried to call them who told me the booking was through Interhome, Interhome emailed me to contact the keyholders direct which i did, only to be told by them that they were unable to add anything to my booking or take a payment and that it would be interhome that would need to take the payment and add my dog to the booking. when i called interhome back they told me they couldn't do that but would make a note that i was taking my pet. I asked them to waive the charge as I have been passed from pillar to post, they said they couldnt do that until after I had departed on my trip as it would be the customer care department who could authourise that. So I cant pay for my dog and cant get them to waive the charge until i go on my holiday with my dog which i cant pay for. IS IT ME??????

So far so good.............
Interhome is not an Organisation I am familiar with at all, but I ran in to them during my quest to find a place in France for a month in September.
I needed to contact them to ask about how many dogs I can bring to the property we were looking at. A VERY helpful Lady (Elizabeth??) took my call within 30 seconds and explained the process. She or one of her Colleagues would need to contact the Owner.
Within an hour or so another v helpful Lady (Francesca) confirmed our booking subject to permission from the Owners, but she was on it.
Fingers crossed that all will be well, but I certainly cannot fault Interhome for their proactive Customer Service. Nice.

Interhome are not trustworthy
Have recently returned from Denia, Spain - Villa Buena Vida (booked via Airbnb)
When I booked the villa the check in time stated was 2pm - 4pm. I booked transport from Valencia based on this time. A week or so before we arrived we were sent travel documents which changed the check in to 4pm - 7pm. Then due to delays with the villa being cleaned we did not gain access to almost 6pm. A whole afternoon was wasted. When we finally gained access a number of rooms stank of smoke.
The dishwasher door did not close properly and water leaked onto the kitchen floor. We could not use it. This was reported on Sunday but not fixed until the following Thursday afternoon.
The blind in the upstairs main bedroom could not be raised meaning we could not use the balcony. This was reported on Sunday but not fixed until the following Thursday afternoon.
The door on the upstairs shower was broken and unsafe to use. This was reported on Sunday but not fixed until the following Thursday afternoon.
If I had known we would not have access to the villa until 6pm, have no dishwasher, shower or balcony until the last day I would not have booked the villa.
When I requested compensation, Interhome said they would investigate. Actually what they did was play the Airbnb system, so that the 72 hour period in which to complain to Airbnb was exhausted. Now they just ignore my emails. Terrible way to treat a customer with a legitimate complaint.

I hadn't heard of Interhome previously…
I hadn't heard of Interhome previously so was a little nervous booking in early 2020. However, they were extremely helpful in postponing our holiday due to the pandemic to 2021, and then to this year. The house, when we got there this summer, was excellent - as described - great quality and as described. The host was really pleasant and helpful and the area we stayed in (Porec) was really lovely and has great watersports, plentiful tennis courts, beautiful sea temperatures (pebble beaches) and was very reasonable price-wise for eating out and general excursions. I would definitely use Interhome to book a holiday again.

Nice and easy to book
Nice and easy to book. Feel a little more information could have been given and email request still didn't totally answer this. Still, good to see how easy it is to book and confirm details. Property we booked had plenty of pictures which is always reassuring. I'm just hoping that I'll continue to get answers from the interhome team when asked.

Absolutely terrible. Waited over a week for a very rude and impersonal response and they told me to go to the tourist board for the information i requested anout renting one of their properties. They falsely advertise as an individual host on air b n b..avoid
