Trotz per Email bestätigter Buchung für eine Verlängerung von einem Monat aus Mai angeblich kein Fahrzeug verfügbar.... Bei Fahrzeugübernahme war das noch kein Problem - ich solle einfach nochmal vorbeikommen um den neuen Vertrag zu unterzeichnen......
Jetzt : Ich könne ja zu Tagespreisen ( 300EUR per Tag ) ein Auto mieten. ??? Entweder gibt es keine Auto oder doch ??
Unfreundliches, arrogantes Personal am Schalter, an einer Problemlösung kein Interesse, während unserem Gespräch einfach andere Personen bedient und mich ignoriert - nur wie man wegen Fehlplanung und zu wenigen Autos in der Hochsaison versucht das maximum aus den Kunden herauszupressen..unverschämt. Meinem Nachbar wurde wegen 15 min Verspätung bei der Rückgabe ein voller Tag in Rechnung gestellt 152 EUR- Unfassbar...NIE WIEDER ILHA VERDE

Im Standgas unrunder Lauf, in Fahrt nimmt der Wagen nicht richtig Gas an, Auto fordert einen Ölwechsel, steht wohl irgendwo im Kleingedruckten; Zusatzgebühr für die Reinigung des Fahrzeugs.
Keine Weiterempfehlung - für den Preis gibt es woanders auch funktionstüchtige, gepflegte Wagen

Accueil froid et impersonnel autant à Magdalena do pico qu’à Punta delgada , donne l’impression qu’on les dérange . À Sao Miguel , ils prennent en plus du tarif payé d’avance une taxe de 10€ pour le nettoyage de la voiture . Rendue propre , il est difficile de se les faire rembourser. Bref , expériences désagréables qui ne se reproduiront pas ...voiture en bon état avec réservoir plein par contre .

Dishonest. They attempted to check out a battered car as pristine, thus setting a trap to charge us for supposed "damage". Misleadingly advertised charge for "Special cleaning, if required" is effectively part of the standard rental fee.

Arrendamos um Renault Clio IV a agência Ilha Verde. O carro foi entregue no aeroporto, supostamente com deposito cheio. Fizemos bastantes km no primeiro dia, mas o indicador do combustível não caiu. No dia seguinte o ponteiro caiu drasticamente. No segundo dia entregamos o carro com depósito cheiro (verificamos duas vezes), o ponteiro ficou igual, sem se mexer. Colocamos 20 litros de combustível o que é muito para os 144km andados. Posteriormente indicaram que meteram mais 7litros porque não estava cheio!!! Da um consumo de 18litros/100km. Carro indicava 6.3 l/km media do consumo. Reclamamos mas não nos devolveram o dinheiro todo, nem pediram desculpa. MUITO VERGONHOSO.

Con artists - 300 euro for a tyre scratch. They brushed me off saying that I could claim it back from my credit card company, which was a lie. Use another car rental company, don't trust these scammers!

Everything is designed to make you pay extra.. What really annoyed me is the dishonesty of the staff. They asked for a 10€ deposit saying that if your car is reasonably clean you get it back. When I returned the car they said you had to give the car back as you got if you wanted to see your money back. That's impossible unless you do their job! Not only did they refuse to give back my 10€ but they charged me again on my credit card!! Avoid this rental service or just accept the idea of paying the 10€ extra .. and check you are not charged twice... still waiting for their response.

Old cars with mechanical problems, broken mirrors. And you have to pay a mandatory cleaning fee when checking in... be aware.

Betrüger , man kriegt ungenutztes Beulenauto im Dunkeln und danach soll man zig Schäden bezahlen. In allen Hotels wird von diesem Vermieter abgeraten, der nur mit Tricks versucht Touristen abzuzocken.

I got an old, worn-out car with me, but I did pay a golden price for it (relatively speaking, in relation to price level Azores). Avoid Ilha Verde if possible.

O booked a car on ilha Verde through Rentalcars. Com. A bad situation in Santa Maria. Avoid this company by all means. First they pretend they are nice and you trust them. At the end comes the knife in your back. My car had different scratches all around. The guy said that later he would make a note of them. I did not make pics. At the end he found New Scratches and charged me 236 € saying that it was not much money!! He knew I did not have an insurance and lyed to me saying that I would get 80% of that money from my Credit Card insurance!! I am a sénior Portuguese doctor and will start different actions against this enterprise focused only in money.Not happy at all. They should have found a solution like kgiving me a voucher of half the value to use in future visits to Azores as a client I use to be.

I was unable to use the car, because Ilha Verde does not know the application that I have from my driving license It was a very uncomfortable situation. Thank you for your attention.

Everything went well with this company! Nothing bad to write about them. Nice car and helpful employees. They charge me 10€ for the cleaning but I return the car clean and this value was refunded to my card account.

I do NOT recomend this service at all! After 1h20 waiting in a line to received a previous booked and payed car, we had to pay 30€ of extra because in the meanwhile the clock passed midnight and it was more expensive to receive the car that late. We had a picture showing that we arrived before midnight and they made us pay 30€ anyway.

Beware ! Ilha Verde started to steal from clients this year: they charge a cleaning fee at the beginning of the rental and never give ot back, no matter the cleanliness of the car. I cleaned the car but I just had a few mosquitos/moths on the front from the 20 minutes night ride to the airport. I used to rent minibuses for my company, last time with you!

Very unpleasant staff. The cars are loaded with damage and the parts are of poor quality. None of the staff took my concerns seriously.

DO NOT trust this company. We used them on 3 different islands - on Pico we had no problems. On Faial, even though we had prepaid and booked 5 months in advance, they tried to charge us again saying we owed more money, even though we had the confirmation printed out. We wasted almost an hour and they finally let us take the car without paying anything else. Then on Sao Miguel, we picked up the car at night so they told us to take a look at the car and take pictures of any damage in the morning. When we dropped the car off at the end of our trip, even though we had just come from the gas station, they claimed we only had 7/8 of the tank full. As we were walking away, the guy suddenly called us back, noticing a dent on the roof of the car - we never even thought of looking at the roof of the car when we first got it - ridiculous! They claimed it looked like someone took a hammer to the roof for a half dollar, circular dent. We kept the car in a garage - so it did not happen while we had it. The dent itself only cost $35 to repair and they added a whole bunch of additional fees, including 125 euros for paint damage, which never happened! They charged us $401 in total damages for complete FRAUD. I repeat DO NOT TRUST THEM.

Car with 67000km, heavily scratched, now they charge 10 euro in advance as "cleaning tax"!!
