I had the privilege of having my assessment with Dr Siijad. He was very warm , empathetic and easy to talk to . He was very knowledgable and was able to understand the struggles that I have been having giving good professional advice, also with a few well humoured jokes to make me feel at ease . I would recommend him to anyone or they were looking for an assessment . Thanks again Dr Siijad .

I am very happy with my experience with Harley Street Mental Health. I went for an ADHD assessment through RtC and the waiting time was incredibly quick. It took only a few days after the referral from my GP.

There were a lot of detailed and thorough forms to fill out before my appointment, which took a while and was definitely the hardest part (especially with ADHD). It was worth it though, as it provided all of the information needed to make my appointment quick and easy.

I was seen by Dr Ali Taufeeq, who was kind, compassionate, and very accommodating with my anxiety. We had a brief conversation after the assessment that helped me with understanding my symptoms/struggles and my options for help.

Overall, I definitely recommend HSMH for an ADHD assessment

What can I say? Just brilliant! I have anxiety around speaking to medical professionals, but Dr Ijaz immediately put me at ease. He explained everything clearly and was very thorough.

Doctor Sijjad Ijaz was incredibly patient,understanding and friendly throughout my ADHD assessment, helping me out and going above and beyond, explaining some of the more complicated aspects of the diagnosis and terminology. Would absolutely recommend him to other patients.

I saw Wioleta Cholewinska absolutely brilliant I went in for a adhd assessment it has been done so quickly I got my referral sent by gp this week same day had all questions to fill out I done n with in 2 days had an appointment so all in less than a week I feel so relieved now getting my diagnosis n now waiting for medication. ADHD assessment was straightforward and thorough. Dr Scot Lindsay was very professional but approachable and put me at ease. The report was drawn up quickly and I was very pleased with the whole processed.

I had my ADHD assessment with Dr Sarah Butler. I was really nervous and had my partner with me. Sarah was very kind, helpful and clear through the process. She took the time to go through all the questions providing examples when needed and left time for questions in the end.

From the beginning, Dr Ijaz was incredibly easy to talk to. I felt comfortable being open about the difficulties I’ve struggled with throughout my life, and what stood out to me most was how well he understood what I was trying to explain. I didn’t feel like I had to constantly justify or over-explain myself — he understood how these difficulties can affect different areas of someone’s life and made me feel genuinely heard.

That was particularly reassuring for me because I’ve spent much of my life feeling like people don’t fully understand the struggles that can come with ADHD. The assessment didn’t feel rushed or like a box-ticking exercise. Dr Ijaz took the time to listen, understand my experiences and explain things clearly.

I was diagnosed with combined-type ADHD, and afterwards he talked me through the diagnosis, the different treatment options available and the ways I can work towards managing the difficulties I’ve been experiencing. He was knowledgeable, understanding and reassuring throughout the entire process.

Getting diagnosed has given me a much better understanding of myself and why I’ve struggled with certain things for so long. I’m very grateful to Dr Ijaz for making what could have been quite an overwhelming experience feel comfortable and positive.

I had a very positive experience overall, from initially booking the assessment through to receiving my final report.
Booking the appointment was straightforward and easy to navigate. One thing I particularly appreciated was being able to see the clinicians available before booking. The website provided background information about each clinician, including their experience and the fields they currently work in or have previously worked in. I found this very useful because it allowed me to research the different clinicians myself and make an informed choice about who I felt would be suitable for my assessment.
After looking through the available clinicians and doing some additional research, I chose Dr Sijjad Ijaz, Specialty Doctor, for my ADHD assessment.

The appointment itself was very well structured and the pacing was clear throughout, while still feeling relaxed and down to earth. I had expected an ADHD assessment to feel quite formal or clinical, but instead it felt much more like having a genuine conversation. This made it much easier for me to relax, speak openly and explain my experiences properly.

Most importantly, I genuinely felt listened to throughout the assessment. Dr Ijaz gave me the opportunity to explain things in my own words, asked questions where appropriate and gave me enough time to answer. I never felt rushed, talked over, dismissed or as though the appointment was simply working through a checklist.

Everything was also explained clearly during the appointment. I understood what was happening, what the next steps would be and what I should expect afterwards, so I never felt unsure about the process.
I was particularly impressed with how quickly the report was completed. I had been given an expected timeframe, but the report arrived well within that and considerably faster than I had anticipated.

The appointment did start a little later than scheduled, but Dr Ijaz was very apologetic about the delay. I completely understand that appointments involving people do not always run exactly to schedule, so this was only a very minor point in an otherwise excellent experience.

Overall, I found the entire process professional and well organised while still feeling approachable and human.
Being able to research and choose my own clinician was also something I really valued.

I had an adult autism assessment with Megan Steele, she was really lovely. I was quite nervous but she made me feel at ease. I would really recommend Harley Street mental health to anyone. The pre assessment forms were tough, but I was booked in quickly for my assessment once they were completed and Megan made me feel really comfortable.

I recently had both ADHD and Autism assessments at HSMH through Right to Choose and it was a great experience.
I had been putting this off for years and really struggled to get the courage to go through the process of getting diagnosed. I didn’t have the best experience with my GP so I chose Right To Choose so I could really research where would be best for me.
It was a really quick process after the paperwork had been completed.
Both Dr Sijjad Ijaz and Karmen Gadi were really friendly and knowledgeable, they took the time to listen and made me feel understood and safe to share my experiences.
