First class for all things ‘home’
Firstly, the furniture is beautiful but moreover it is always a pleasure to shop at HU. The staff are helpful, friendly and courteous; communication re: purchase receipts and delivery information is excellent, and goods arrive as planned. Great service
I ordered a new suite which was made to order and was kept informed of progress by lovely staff. They then arranged the delivery which went well, again, lovely gentleman made the delivery.

Fine company for service and quality
The delivery men were Lee and Dave. They were extremely careful bringing in the furniture and discussed along the way where to position it. They gave good advice on care and maintenance. Unfortunately, one of the lights was a purple colour which they reported immediately and a replacement and technician will come and change it in about three weeks The staff at the sales and after sales have been professional throughout and apart from the faulty light the quality of the cabinets and table are exceptional.

I received a phone call 5 mins before delivery. Delivery was on time as arranged. Friendly, polite service from the delivery men Lee & David. They handled the furniture carefully and were knowledgeable answering all my questions. I would definitely recommend them.

I’d never heard of HU before and came across them while looking for dining furniture, I’m always wary of buying online without see the furniture in person and have been messed around by other online furniture companies in the past. HU I’m happy to say was not one of those companies I found some dining chairs and brought 4, the pictures looked good online but you never know without seeing in person but when they arrived the pictures did not do the chairs justice they were very good quality and they look so good. The best and almost more important than the furniture for me is the process to buy / deliver and customer service .. HU kept me updated via email at every stage took around a week to be delivered with texts to tell me when and time of delivery etc and call 20mins before arriving .. my whole experience was excellent I will be ordering from them again and recommend you do also .. was stress free and thats what you want when ordering online. HU keep up the good work and thanks

Do not waste your time or money.
I was greeted by rude staff in the Emporium, and my partner and I left feeling completely unwelcome.
When we returned to make our purchase, Joanne and Janet managed to get the order completely wrong, even spelling my name incorrectly. As a result, I did not receive a receipt until the item was delivered. As soon as it arrived, it was obvious that the order was incorrect.
Despite this being entirely their mistake, Nikki and Steve have refused to do anything to rectify the issue, even though the product remains in its original packaging and has not been used.
Please do not waste your time or money with these unprofessional people. I'm extremely disappointed, as Housing Units used to be a great place to visit and shop.
HU - You may respectfully disagree all you like. I look forward to sharing my findings from The Furniture & Home Improvement Ombudsman, whom you were so keen to suggest in your recent email.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your experience.
Having thoroughly reviewed the matter with the team members involved, our records show that you initially visited our store on 3rd April, when pricing and dimensions were discussed in detail, and the information was noted down for you. When you returned on 19th April to place the order, the same written details were provided to our sales colleague, and the order was processed based on the dimensions supplied.
As this was a bespoke order, specific sizing was discussed during both visits. The dimensions ordered were not standard sizes, and both colleagues involved clearly recall reviewing these measurements with you. In addition, our usual process is to confirm customer details and review the order before it is signed and approved.
We appreciate that it is disappointing when a product does not meet expectations. However, based on our investigation, we are satisfied that the order was placed in accordance with the information provided and subsequently approved at the point of purchase.
We are also sorry to learn that you felt unwelcome during your visit, as this is certainly not the level of service we strive to provide. Customer experience is extremely important to us, and your comments have been noted and shared with the relevant team.
While we understand your frustration, we respectfully disagree with the suggestion that the order was processed incorrectly by our staff.

The quality of the table and chairs are very good but the time taken for it to come into stock was far too long. Then it was delayed so it was a few weeks late. I didn't go for the delivery option as it was very expensive, but collection was easy.
