Arrived as arranged, valued my GTI GOLF told me the price I would recive after scrap value was taken off - I am happy with the outcome of reciving my £1530.00 and I am able to keep my car.
Obviously this money will be used to fix my car. I dont know when I will recive the £1530.00 but the guy said within afew days. Good service only thing I was not happy with is the fact my car was sat damaged for over six weeks! This could be a quicker process so others dont wait that long. Exspecially when your involved in an accident that was not my fault. Cheers

The gentleman that called came within the time he had given me. He was thorough in his inspection and very polite and communicative. He also solved the problem in hand.

This has been a disaster experience over months now and the problems are *still* not resolved. Having been through a vehicle accident when stationery and not our fault, the trying to get the car repaired is now becoming more traumatic than the accident. We've lost count of the "We'll do this by X" and it not happen, no proactive telling of that. Today we were assured someone would come before 1pm and likely early as the 2nd appointment of the day. We had to contact them after 1pm to let them know to not come as going out. And then they can't visit for another 2 weeks. The accident was in early April and the car has been "repaired" 3 times now except each time it comes back, as soon as you turn the engine on it tells you there are errors with sensors. Not exactly hard to check!!
Sadly, we seem to have little influence over the choice of company as picked by LV (who have arguably been as bad throughout).
The sheer amount of time that's been wasted is beyond our comprehension. Literally DAYS and not hours of completely wasted time and all we keep getting is "sorry".
So angry and disappointed - one or two mistakes might be understandable but this feels like a much more serious underlying issue both in repairs and in customer service.

Terrible service, guy came out and inspected my car after it had been badly repaired and on looking round he agreed that the headlight fitted was the wrong one and that the paint job on the bumper was substandard and that the edge of the wing should have been painted and that the bumper gap to the wing should not be as big as it is and also that the wheel alignment clearly hadn’t been done with the steering wheel been off centre. The report then lands with the repair company and all he lists is the headlight needs sorting everything else he says is fine!!!! Absolute joke AVOID AT ALL COSTS clearly working with activate accident repair to allow all the other work to be deemed as fine.

Initial contact was via email on 10/07/26. it gave option of connecting to their virtual assistant through which I selected an appointment date. I chose the first one on Wednesday 15th morning.
Man arrived, friendly attitude, as he photographed my whole car many times. It was nice he complemented on such a good car. Refused my offer of a cold drink as he had one. Bye.
Today 20/07/26 waiting for outcome of inspection

Dennis came to my house a couple days ago, explained what he was doing and why, and got the job done, quickly and professionally

Very happy with service and outcome. Engineer from Hoopers, appointed by my insurers, arrived as arranged and examined the screen. He was very courteous and took time to listen to my concerns. advising that he needed to do some research before reporting to the insurers. Two days later I got a call from my insurers confirming I could get an original Mercedes screen fitted at their expense. In summary my 6 month old Mercedes was fitted with an “after market “ replacement windscreen without discussion with me. I discovered such windscreens, while similar, are ultimately inferior to the original.

The appointed assessor was not interested!!

He arrived just within the 8-1 pm window thats fine.
He did not listen to anything i had to say.A Motorbike is highly tuned vehicle. Being involved in a 3 impact crash warranted more than a few photos on an ipad.

He did not even walk all the way around the bike.

I have used Hoopers many years ago on another motorbike. The service then was first class.

On this occasion the visit was totally and utterly unacceptable as an ispection.

I am an automotive engineer and ran a garage and bodyshop for 20 years.

I'm absolutely shocked by the lack of information gather and the failure to walk round the vehicle and lack of information gathering.
This was almost a week ago and
I have heard nothing.

I would ask someone from Hoopers to make contact with me.
I believe the wrong assessor was sent to my bike. I know they are much more capable than this.

They were appointed as an independent engineer, I will be refuteing this, what not more than a visit to take a few photos.

It's left me with yet more stress having to deal with this while trying to recovery from injuries and surgery through no fault of my own.

Hoopers have completely undervalued my vehicle figures are completely off now vehicle is sitting causes more issues. Hoopers are favourable to the insurance company that have called them out they are not doing their job correctly. Avoid hoopers at all costs and know if they are the engineers called out to inspect car expect discrepancies in their report.

I was explained to about the options available for claim. Explained to about that needs to be done and possible cost of repairs.

​I want to provide feedback regarding my recent vehicle inspection by Dave. Dave was a lovely person and very professional during the visit; I have no complaints about his conduct or his helpfulness in person.
​However, the final valuation provided for my 2021 Honda SH125i at £2,170 is fundamentally wrong. It is over £1,000 below the current retail market. I have clear evidence from Sutton Motorcycles showing an identical 2021 model retails for £3,199.
​As I use this bike to Study the Knowledge of London, I require a reliable replacement from a main dealer with a guarantee. I cannot accept a private sale valuation with no honesty or warranty. I hope Hoopers can review Dave’s professional report and correct this figure to reflect the true £3,100+ dealer market value.

I only have negative things to say, and the man you sent just made up some stuff so as to charge me more, and refused to understand the circumstances and what had actually happened in favour of trying to save the insurance company some money, he was also being argumentive so I had to end the call with him.
Do not trust these scammer assessors.
