Homebase - Maidstone Arvostelua 

I ordered 3 garden pots 2 lge & 1small. Simple enough!! On your click & collect service. I received a phone call the morning of my collection telling me that they only had one lge pot in stock, which was fine, I'll just have the other 2. When I arrived, expecting to just collect and go. I found myself waiting for over 10 minutes as they only had one pot ready(the large one) the smaller one was not there. I wasn't happy waiting, and they mucked it up. No apology at all so I'm not a happy customer 🤯

However, Gemma from headoffice has now apologised for the above incident and is sending me a £10 voucher to spend in store, plus I have had a refund of the pot. All in all I am now a happy customer

Sent a "thank you for collecting" text when I hadn't even left the house. .they don't answer the phone, so had to rush down there worried someone else had taken it. Luckily they hadn't. Just as I was leaving I noticed one of the items was completely wrong. Had to hang around for ages whilst the staff member went and got the right one. On his way back through the store, I could see him walking really slow and chatting with another staff member. Customer service isn't their strong point

Paid extra to purchase in store for items I needed immediately. (Could have saved myself £25 by ordering by click and collect.) Got home and 2 of the same item do not match in colour. Contacted online help who say they cannot help and I have to return to store. Not helpful when I don’t drive.

Items all ready to collect, but the store was under going renovations, power tools being used for cutting which was causing a cloud of burning dust, which caught in my throat making breathing difficult and the smell clung to my clothes. Service ok but health wise this work should have been done while the shop was closed, as it appeared the only ventilation being used was a fire exit door at the front of the building being left open!

So annoyed by my purchase -bought today click and collect. When I picked up the product, the box was open. The assistant, said ‘yeh, they’re like that sometimes’. No surprise to now find one of the key elements of the product is missing rendering it unusable, Can’t get any answer on the phone.

Why didn’t they check the box to ensure the product and all associated parts were there before giving it to me. Complete waste of time and I won’t be using them again

Staff were extremely helpful. Was able to help with items needed. Nothing was to much trouble.
We were able to bring our well behaved cavapoo within the store which was a nice experience.
Shannon was the lady in the till that served us, she was lovely to us and was patient when I needed to change the paint I picked.

Both Jo and Ryan were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and polite. They gave us very good advice regarding our purchase and also arranged a same day delivery. They are outstanding ambassadors for your business,

Goods ready on time. In store about 3 minutes.

We purchased a new kitchen through Homebase and had so many issues impacting our fitters, decorators and electrician. It has been incredibly stressful.
We had the following issues:
1. We bought an ex display induction hob. On the day we wanted to collect it, I phoned to confirm collection and was told the hob had failed it's PAT test, even after being told on more than one occasion that all the appliances I bought had passed all the tests.
2. I was told I would receive a free hot tap with the purchase of my kitchen and was only told that they were out of stock when I went to get my refund for the aforementioned issue.
3. Our kitchen designer, measured up the wrong size door which we had to hand return to the store to get the right one sent out to us.
4. The company that delivered our kitchen left the kitchen standing upright causing one door to bow and another to crack. This meant that our kitchen fitters had to come out again on a different day to fit them.
5. The alusplash we ordered didn't arrive with the rest of the kitchen and when we rang to query this, we were told it had sold out locally so had to buy one elsewhere.
6. The integrated dishwasher we bought didn't come with the screws needed and I was told on the phone that I had to buy them myself.
7. The kitchen designer recommended a pull and swing mechanism for our corner unit. However due to the positioning of the unit next to an integrated fridge freezer, the mechanism cannot fully open rendering it completely useless.

Through all these experiences, we did not feel that Homebase were particularly apologetic and these have all caused delays in our kitchen being fitted, resulting in having to spend more money on appliances and eating out.

We would not recommend getting a homebase kitchen to anyone.

The staff are friendly and helpful, the store is relaxed and welcoming, I like the outdoor plant section and the gardening section the most!

Easy to collect polite and well mannered assistant and transaction just right.

Its was so easy. I did click and collect. Went to homebase gave the lady my reference number and got my paint
