We recently purchased a kitchen from Homebase in Eastbourne. The kitchen designer Justin Weller did an excellent job throughout. He was very attentive and importantly listened carefully to our requirements. He went the extra mile both price wise and in his detail in design in order to get round small snagging issues. We would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone looking to change their kitchen.

I visited the Eastbourne store and was helped by Justin to make my first kitchen purchase. Justin was totally brilliant. He understood completely what I was looking for, even before I did, listened to what I said, suggested options that I had not thought about and produced a layout I am really happy with. He also helped me to save a few pounds by making a few subtle changes. Justin was so customer focussed, explained any potential issues, worked with my timescale and suggested payment options that he explained clearly.
Justin is customer focused, conscientious, professional, courteous and a credit to the store. Thank you.

Quick, efficient and available

Very convenient and efficient way to order and collect the items I wanted. Much quicker than locating them in store myself.

I ordered a garden sofa on click&collect which was a really easy and quick process. When I arrived to store the store staff were extremely helpful, in particular Ben. He went over and above to help us pack everything into the car safely for the drive home. I would definitely commend Homebase

The sales assistant at our local branch was extremely helpful both before and after sale. He was knowledgeable, polite and very quick to respond to email and telephone contact. He offered sound, unbiased advice and was able to support on a range of issues.

Web site was very misleading. We ordered a parasol and it was not very clear if it came with the base.
When it arrived we realized no base so we phoned one of the branches and spoke to customer services who were very unhelpful. Just said sorry bases are out of stock. Will not be ordering on line from homebase again.

Ben who helped me get the garden furniture into my car was literally the most helpful human being I’ve ever encountered in the retail world

I purchased the Rowley patio set this afternoon from Eastbourne Homebase. I drive a Kia Picanto and to my amazement, the two ladies managed to get the very large box in the boot of my car! They explained to open the box in the boot and remove the chairs and cushions! I have a blue badge and they were incredibly helpful. I returned later this evening to collect the table and again two other team members, assisted me! All four team members were helpful, patience and caring - I have a blue badge.

We recently purchased an outside dining set & parasol (+ base) for our new decking. An excellent experience all round. Everyone in the Eastbourne store was super helpful and ready to help out. A MASSIVE thank you to Josh, Maria & Nicola for all of your help - an absolute credit to the store. Josh Ty for helping me to the car - that sort of extra help goes a long way to making the customer feel incredibly supported, excellent work you champion- much appreciated.
