Holden Vintage & Classic Arvostelua 

Ordered a £230 Trico Washer bottle, it didn't work, I tested it myself both on and off the car. I contacted Holden to arrange a return and they refused to send a replacement until the unit was returned, as such I sent it back to them via Royal Mail and guess what they tell me it hasn't been received and they won't send a replacement until it is: This was 2 weeks+ ago..

The first hat I bought was too small and they immediately sent me a larger size, before I had sent the first one back.
Excellent service, highly recommended.

Attempted to buy a small distributor centre carbon brush for a Lucas distributor, brush is approx 10mm long x 3mm dia. with a matching tiny spring.....I was appalled to be advised delivery cost to Northern Ireland would be £16.56p.....this is an item that would fit in the corner of a small envelope with a second class stamp. This company obviously does not need my custom.......nor will it ever get it!

Holden generally offer an excellent service to vintage car customers and I have bought many parts from them over several years for my two pre-war cars. However the fuel gauge/sender/voltage stabiliser for my Morris 8 would not show empty correctly. After much experimentation and Holden swapping of parts I made it work with a voltage stabiliser of a different type from a different supplier which works ok. I gave that information to Holden. I returned the inadequate unit and an unused gauge (tried with Holden's agreement as a possibility) for a refund and heard nothing. I then corresponded with the contact (who seemed to be frequently to be on holiday) but again had no reply. I suggested a simple experiment their engineers could try to see the problem but had no response. I feel that possibly the sales person is blocking a response from a group I previously found to be excellent. The date of experience below is the last letter I sent but the saga went on for a long time before. During that time Holden had my gauge checked by the supplier and returned it with no information whatsoever!
