They will take your money, send an incompetent person to do the job and they will make excuses of not being able to carry out the work. Robbed me for £150, i then called another company and got it sorted straight away

We have recently been made aware of your negative review regarding your experience with our company, and we would like to address the concerns you raised.
Firstly, we would like to clarify that we take all customer feedback seriously and strive to ensure that our services meet the highest standards of quality and professionalism.
In response to your claims, we would like to present the following facts:
*Inability to Complete Service:* We communicated to you that we were unable to approve a refund as we did attend the site and were only prohibited from carrying out the work through no fault of our own. Our engineer encountered issues with inaccessibility, which prevented them from completing the cylinder and boiler service. We have retained photographs clearly illustrating the inaccessible areas, including the back of the cylinder, the cylinder pipe work, cylinder two ports and the positioning of the electrical consumer unit, which hindered access to the testing points on the boiler.
*Offer of solutions:* We did advise you that the consumer unit would need to be moved or the boiler installed in a new location to ensure the service could be carried out in compliance with gas safe regulations. Additionally, we offered to provide a quote to rectify the issues to pass the service and safety checks, which you declined.
*Safety Compliance:* As a reputable company, we cannot issue a pass certificate for gas safety checks if there are installation issues that pose a risk as per the regulations set by gas safe.
We also cannot issue a pass cylinder certificate if we cannot access the pipe work and controls as per regulation g3 therefore our engineer deemed the installation to be 'at risk,' which necessitates addressing the installation defects. The installation of both the cylinder and boiler would prevent any engineer, regardless of size, from carrying out necessary visual inspections, tests to the standards of the governing bodies. It is crucial to comply with regulations to ensure the safety and integrity of the installations.
We would like to reiterate that our priority is to provide safe and efficient services to our clients. While we understand your disappointment, we stand by our commitment to upholding industry standards and regulations.

highly recommend this company
I highly recommend this company for any issues with HIUs ! My heating broke down and I have young children in the house, I was so worried we will be without heating and hot water. From start to finish, the service was excellent. A lovely young chap Tanvir arranged for an engineer to visit my property urgently and the engineer fixed the issue.

No Heating Resolved Fast
Our heating failed during a winter spell when it was most needed. HIU Breakdown & Repairs sent an engineer, Levi, the very next morning. Levi resolved the issue quickly & explained what was wrong & how it was resolved. He also gave a great summary of how the HIU works and the main things to check in case of any future issues. Fantastic service, highly recommend.

Great customer service from Levi at HIU Breakdown and Repairs
Levi was the engineer to drop by when I had hot water but no hot radiators.
He took the boiler lid off, identified the issue which was a stuck pin and then when he sorted that out the radiators started to get warm again.
Super nice guy, friendly and explained what the issue was and how he resolved it, and any other questions. He also gave me some advice on simple ways on how to maintain the boilers and about having them serviced.
Job took about 10 - 15 mins but was a fantastic customer service and got the job done. Would 100% recommend to my building.
Booking the job was also easy and received calls, texts, and emails to confirm how things were going. Wouldn’t hesitate to use these guys again. Thanks Levi, and thanks the HIU team.
