Very friendly and helpful dealing with customers. Warner Scholtz sorted me out with the right deal and helped me get the vehicle I wanted. Very good customer service, keep it up. I would highly recommend anyone to deal with him when purchasing a vehicle.

Hippo Peterborough. Shocking experience. I identified a car which met with my needs, Initial communication was good and even received a video albeit avoiding showing the damage to alloys, internal trim, boot and serious bonnet chips, 3 different tyre makes etc which became apparent during my physical inspection. Prior to inspection of the car I received no replies to requests for information re chips, scratches, dents to body work, trim or wheels. I paid the £99 reservation fee and having traveled to view the car, as mentioned above it was clearly badly mistreated by the previous company owners, the Salesman played issues down and had every excuse in the book for the reasons the car was in this condition. I was annoyed having travelled some distance to view the car, that its issues were not in the description or mentioned in a reply e mail etc. I raised these concerns and was made to feel my expectations of a 2yr old car having done 16K miles were unrealistic and its condition might be acceptable to others. I now know why the car hasn’t sold and it’s been on their books for so long. I would avoid Hippo and recommend greater honesty in representation cars condition. I still await my £99 “fully refundable” reservation fee.

Awful , car broke down 10 days after 3 months of buying the car , the after sales team are dreadful, I am dealing with Shanon she won’t put me in line with the manager after asking repeatedly for the past 2 weeks . They keep palming me off . Won’t call me back or reply to my emails. Never again !!! I’ve bought cars in Land Rover York and had a fantastic experience they unlike hippo pride them selves with fantastic customer care. We had a genuinely excellent experience buying our Kia EV6 from Hippo Peterborough, and a huge part of that was down to Chris and Lewis.
From the outset, both of them were friendly, straightforward and incredibly helpful. There was never any pressure, just a real sense that they wanted us to be completely happy with the car and confident about the whole purchase. Chris in particular went above and beyond to make everything easy for us, answering questions, sorting out the details and making the whole process feel very personal rather than just another car sale.
Lewis was equally helpful and professional, and between them they made what can sometimes be a stressful experience remarkably easy and enjoyable.
We absolutely love the EV6 and came away feeling that we had been very well looked after from start to finish. Good customer service is easy to promise, but Chris and Lewis actually delivered it.
We would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Hippo Peterborough, and especially Chris and Lewis. A very well-deserved five stars from us.

Good communication from Olivia when making enquiries re a Range Rover Evoke. Pick up from Blackburn all went very smoothly. However I have had a transmission problem and whistling noise coming from the ventilation system. I had the 3 month warranty with A1 issued by HIPPO. On contacting them I became very disillusioned with their service. I was initially told to contact a local Independent garage. Not to go through a main dealer as they don't deal with them. I contacted several independent garages and the response from each was the same: we do not deal with warranty work as very problematic i.e never answer the phone, query work involved, delay payment. On ringing A1 back and explaining the issue I was told they had accounts with Halfords and Quick Fit and to ring them. Both informed me they do not do transmission work. Upto now all this ringing round has taken 90 minutes. The 3rd call through to A1 I was told to go online and search the website: good garage. I selected two garages from this and again was told they do not do warranty work. By now I was extremely frustrated and on my final call to A1 I was put on hold for 17 minutes when they came back with a company in Stockport. I contacted them - they were prepared to do investigate the issues for me but could not do this until 11/09/2026. This has all resulted in me arranging and paying for the repairs myself. To say I am extremely disappointed is an understatement-the warranty is completely worthless!

Liam and George really made our experience very seamless. They helped us with all our queries and helped us find a really nice car. Really pleased with the customer service and speed of service. Would highly recommend!!
