Hertz - New York - West 83rd Street Arvostelua 

Steve was incredibly helpful. The location is a bit chaotic, hard to navigate and takes some time to get the car due to the car elevator. This is my second time renting from this location and Steve made the second time a much better expertience.

Easy and convenient, good car and got an upgrade. Only issue is I had to wait about 15 minutes for them to get the car out

The customer service person on the upper west side Hertz outlet was superb. Please credit her 100% for her help in getting me a good car for the one-way trip NYC to Boston. Peter Galison

You were doing great with a nice car, good customer service and easy return - until we received a bill for $240 for supposedly opening the E-Z pass tag on the windshield. There is only one toll on the road to Woodstock and we went through it twice. We declined using the toll service when we rented the car and don’t know how it got opened or turned on. A good experience very badly tarnished.

I was forced to pay a 100 delivery fee which was not in the original quote. This is unreasonable, even if some price needed to be factored in.

i disliked the way the lady in the front desk interacted at the time of picking up my car. She asked for a code that I didn't have and was very confident that I don't have a reservation until I convinced her to look at my DL, when she admited that I actually have a reservation and a car is waiting for me!

Excellent in-person customer service at the front desk arranging an hour earlier pickup that Hertz's frustrating web site had prevented; easy drop-off, good, clean vehicle.

The staff was very helpful. Had a car ready immediately. Location was easy to find. The car felt ten years old haha it was rattling and dirty. We were shocked to find out it was only a year old but I guess people are just rough on rentals. It hasn’t really been cleaned or wiped down or vacuumed but we only needed it to get to the airport so we didn’t care. Drop off was smooth. We literally just pulled up and left it and everyone was so helpful and kind.

Car we had reserved ( jeep compass) was not available at the location and time we had reserved. We were told no gas powered cars available . Employees at location were dismissive and rude. And could not understand stand why we would prefer a gas powered suv to drive thru the Catskills and Adirondacks. They some how found a gas powered car. A nissan versa. Definitely not the size we needed, but we were left with no choice. My husband struggled to get in and out of it and the car struggled going up those hills. We did not feel safe. We were given a credit for the difference in class size but that did mot make up for the poor service, long waiting time nor unpleasant drive

Quick return of car at location. Getting the car was also pretty good.

Checkout counter folks were great. Car was great

Convenient location
Would be even better if they stay open till 10 or 11pm because 8pm is too early for drop off
