The dealership is good and staff knowlegable. It does. take a long time to wait for the work to be completed but that was my choice.

Booked in easy enough, dropped off and went for a wander and when I got back just over an hour later was ready. They even looked at the blowers that kept stopping.

Had no trouble

I was welcomed before 7.30am when I booked my s-max in for an MOT test. Later that morning I received a text message to say that the car was ready for collection. When I arrived, the paperwork was soon completed, and after a chat with the young lady, I returned home.

Easy to book service on line, confirmation of booking - call day before service to ensure no changes etc - friendly staff.

I cam in for a review of the back passenger wheel which I have had problems with since receiving the vehicle. Haynes Canterbury asked for the car to be booked in at Maidstone because they said there are too many weights fitted to the wheel to balance it.
I made the appointment and specifically asked for a curtesy vehicle, which was not ready and needed to get booked that morning. I waited from 7:30 to 10;30 for a car and missed my appointments on the day. not just that , I had to walk right across Maidstone to collect the vehicle and then just to be told a few hours later that they could do nothing for my car and could not get rid of the problem and if they were to rebalance the wheel then that would be chargeable, even though your own workshop had asked for this.
So all in all a frustrating experience with bad customer care and with the most likely outcome that this was the last Ford I will ever buy or ask for. we spent nearly 50k on a car that has had a un-balanceable wheel on it from new.

Ford smax ruined

I took my car to ford Haynes Maidstone for a new cambelt and clutch as I thought the main dealer will be the best option something I now live to regret as all I have had since the the new cambelt and clutch was fitted is problem after problem it’s been back in 3 times now which i had to pay 170 pound to have it looked at, for it then to break down 2 days later after them telling me nothing was wrong with it and after the 3rd time it went in they said some wires where broke so they fixed them no charge but still hasn’t solved the problem what has been recurring the whole time and now they want to charge me £1695 to fix a wiring loom what apparently is the problem but the problem only accured when they fixed the clutch and cambelt they are just trying to get more money out off me and my car is pretty much ruined every time I drive it, it’s juddering has no power engine running rough but nothing they have down apparently I wouldn’t mind if I had unlimited money and cars but I don’t I work hard for my money and only have 1 family car that’s it what’s now pretty much undriveable

Communication from the service team and especially Tommy was very knowledgeable and helpful.
Made the whole process of dropping my car off and leaving with confidence my issue was resolved.

I highly recommend Haynes Ford of Maidstone for their excellent service. They performed a service on our Escort Cosworth, and it was fantastic. Dealing with the team from start to finish was a wonderful experience.

Excellent communication throughout MOT and service. I had text reminders and a phone call to remind me about the upcoming work.
Lauren at Maidstone called me when I needed to pick up the car and went over the issues. When I did pick up the car, she further explained what work might be needed at the next service which was much appreciated as I have little understanding about cars. She explained that a few amber issues did not need to be addressed straightaway. Other staff were also very friendly and helpful. Staff even washed my car too.
Communication has vastly improved as a few years ago, my husband, was regularly contacted about the MOT even though I was the owner and had left my contact number and email.
Many many years ago, the mechanics gently laughed at me for thinking I had a problem with reverse lights and they had to explain there was only one. I was mortified.
But today, I did not feel at all trepidatious. Haynes is always very reliable and I would highly recommend.

The software update took longer than anticipated as I was waiting for the vehicle.

My Ford Puma was recalled for some work, scheduled in to a time that suited. I opted to wait whilst it was being done. I was 15 mins early for the appointment, but there was a nice place to wait in a lovely air conditioned room. Within 15 mins my keys were handed back to me, informing me that the work was all complete. So i was in and out before the scheduled booking in time. Fantastic service.
