Couldn't have asked for a better estate agent
From the very beginning, Hannels stood out from the other estate agents I had valuations with. I was able to book my valuation very quickly and Heather was incredibly professional and knowledgeable. Shortly after leaving, she had already sent me a really useful and detailed file about my property. The whole experience immediately felt a level above the other valuations I'd had and I completely understand now why Hannels are so popular in Derby.
Then I had Debbie looking after my sale, and I genuinely couldn't have asked for anyone better. Best of the best. She was incredible throughout the entire process. She was always so quick to reply, call me, chase things, deal with issues and keep me updated. Whenever things became stressful, Debbie was there to explain what was happening and calm the situation down rather than leaving me wondering. I never had to chase anyone.
Selling a house can be incredibly stressful and I was also going through a particularly difficult time personally during the sale. Debbie's patience, kindness and professionalism meant a lot to me. Even when there were frustrating issues, she was constantly on top of things and made sure everything kept moving.
I genuinely feel like I got the best possible agent. From Heather making such a brilliant first impression to Debbie getting me all the way through to completion, the service has been exceptional.
Thank you so much, especially Debbie. You've been an absolute star and I couldn't recommend Hannels highly enough. ❤️

We had our property valued a year ago and was fine with that but after substantial property renovations etc we thought we'd consider our options and get a re-evaluation. They under valued us by 10-15k

While we fully appreciate the improvements you’ve made to your home since our previous visit, unfortunately the cost of renovations doesn’t always translate directly into the same increase in market value.

Alvaston Hannells - the best!
I cannot recommend Hannells (Alvaston) enough!! The staff team, including Eliza and Joe, are fantastic! They organised house viewings into one condensed day, they kindly did that of their own accord and it made the process so much easier. They answered emails instantly and made every effort.
Additionally, Sharon, who showed us around the properties, is utterly incredible!! She knows the local area to each property so well! She clearly knows her stuff and was able to tell us back ground information about each property in great detail and was so kind, friendly and accommodating. We have been to various estate agent companies but by far, Hannells Alvaston and their amazing team, have been the best people to come to. Anyone wanting to view/buy or sell their house should definitely come to this team without a doubt. I cannot thank them enough for all they have done.

Friendly staff, smooth handovers when key people on leave, effective communication, prompt for viewing appointments. Very efficient management of the buying negotiations and liaison with solicitors and vendors.
The only suggestion we'd make is having more detailed information available at the time of viewing properties.
