The WORST!

This company has rescheduled my appointment 4 times since March 27th of 2026 and has not showed up at the designated time indicated for the appointment. In addition, when they rescheduled they only reached out to me once to let me know the day before that they would not be coming. I have experienced nothing but frustration and trauma in dealing with them and cannot trust the appointment that I am given. I have never experienced such a blatant disregard for the customer and low level of professionalism. I would not recommend using this company for your appliance repairs.

This company is the worst experience I have ever had in my life. There is a reason why they only have a 1.2 rating. I bought a new Whirlpool refrigerator because my old refrigerator might be going to leave me without a Way to keep my food safely. IT still worked! The delivery men delivered and set up new refrigerator and took my old one away which I paid for. They told me to put food in after 45 minutes. The refrigerator freezer has never gotten cold. Scheduled an appointment and the day of appointment we were told they weren't coming and we didn't have an appointment that was just the day we had asked for. That's a lie the representative we talked to made the appointment and said it was earliest available. They gave us another appointment two weeks later and we lost all our food. We waited all day but no one showed. My wife called and we were told the only technician in this area called in with an emergency. They couldn't give me a call earlier in the day to let me know. Wasted another day. It's been almost a month since I had a refrigerator and I am still waiting. Can't believe this company has only one service man for Pinellas county Florida and they do Home Depot and Lowe's plus others. I will ask who does service before I buy any appliances from now on. BEWARE of GOODMAN SERVICES

Schedule means nothing to them.

Had a schedule for the afternoon 1-5pm(with confirmation email). I got a text 9am saying the tech was on the way. when called was told my appointment was for the morning and he would not be able to make it out in the afternoon. Had to reschedule for a week later.

This has to be one of the worst service…

This has to be one of the worst service companies I have ever dealt with in my life how they are still in business is beyond me. basically it's been almost one month since I started dealing with them and I still have not had my Repair done. They sent the wrong part twice. They didn't show up once now I'm working on my third appointment how whirlpool uses this company is beyond me so maybe instead of writing poor reviews about this company we should be calling whirlpool or Allstate who is the insurance company that we paid for the warranty.

I wouldn't even give y'all a third of a…

I wouldn't even give y'all a third of a star much less of one. He'll scheduling is very inaccurate and very time consuming and it's causing me money and I have all the parts in my washing machine. Been there for 5 days. No answer, no email but the technician was supposed to be here today between 12:00 and 5:00 so I took a half a day off from work. No technician. Nothing at all. No call backs. No information but I called y'all yesterday. Y'all said that he would be here between 12:00 and 5:00. No technician at all. It's $45 p.m. I've been home since 12. :00 p.m. waiting on somebody to fix my washing machine that's still under warranty with the 5-year more! Y'all suck

I would give it a zero if I could. Here’s my experience- my Maytag dishwasher broke down and was still under warranty as of early March when it happened. I submitted a claim and GHS was the assigned service provider. I called to book an appt which I did and then GHS called me to reschedule. Then the technician texted me on the rescheduled day to say he would arrive and give me 30 min.notice but then never showed up. Never gave an ETA which I requested. I made several calls to DHS after that and the warranty company, Centricity, but just got the run around. They basically ghosted me and would not answer or follow through on emails or return calls. After three weeks they wore me down so I had to call for an independent service provider. They came the same day. But I’m now out $361.00. Something that was covered under warranty. The interesting thing is that GHS sent a part to our home without telling us or having a technician see the unit. So apparently we were scheduled at some point and they had intentions of coming but never communicated with us about delays or expectations. WTH? Poor communication along with poor management are what I think is going on here.

Terrible customer service

Whirlpool had me schedule my appointments through them. These people hang up on you mid conversation, extremely long waits, and no one is going above and beyond to make things right. I’ve waited as long as 1 hour on the phone to be hung up on multiple times. Never got my home serviced by them due to them not responding to emails during business hours and then they canceled my appointment after I paid. Now battling a refund that they won’t give me a confirmation number on.

Needed Microwave repair

Needed Microwave repair. Went online from Whirlpool site and scheduled repair. At no time did site indicate the cost of visit, but got a confirmation of the repair date and time. Called Goodman this morning to check on costs was informed that it was $129.95 for visit, and upon receipt of money they would schedule repair. I asked the agent what about the confirmation I received confirming date and time. She said its not scheduled till after receipt of money, so confirmation is basically fraud, never really scheduled.

Sorry excuse for a service company

Sorry excuse for a service company! Save yourself headaches ho anywhere but with them ! Waited 4 weeks to get someone to fix my dryer....was told to have vents cleaned ... spent 500 dollars did it... dryer still does not work! I now have to start over and wait another 4 weeks to get some one back out! I truly despise this company! Please save yourself stress pick any other company!!!!!!'

I concur with other dissatisfied customers of Goodman Home Solutions. I’ve had a multitude (6) of cancellations of poor customer service, and No Shows. Whirlpool should cut ties with this poor excuse of a service provider. If you are thinking of, assigned to, or in a service agreement with GHS run… DON’T DO IT.

Where do I even start with Goodman Home Solutions? This company has turned "home repair" into an extreme patience-testing sport, and I'm officially tapping out.The tech finally showed up... a full week after I scheduled, because apparently urgency is just a suggestion. Then—plot twist!—he didn't have the right part. Shocking, I know. He shrugged, said it'd be another week to get it ordered, and oh, by the way, I'd have to call back in to schedule the follow-up appointment myself. Because why would they handle something as radical as follow-through?So I called. And called. When someone finally deigned to answer, they cheerfully informed me the next available slot was in 10 more days. Ten. Days. At this rate, my broken appliance will qualify for Social Security before it gets fixed.The tech himself? About as friendly as a root canal without anesthesia. Zero small talk, zero empathy, just the bare minimum grunts required to confirm he was, in fact, a human and not a particularly grumpy robot.This isn't service—it's a slow-motion hostage situation where my time, money, and sanity are the ransom. If you're looking for a company that excels at stringing you along with endless delays, mismatched parts, rude attitudes, and customer service that's basically a game of telephone with extra steps... congratulations, you've found the champions.Save yourself the headache (and the calendar blackouts) and go literally anywhere else. I'll be over here, still waiting for a part that might arrive sometime before the heat death of the universe.Avoid at all costs. 0 stars if I could.

Don't hold to appointment dates

Made a service appointment through Whirlpool with Goodman 5 days in advance and took time off work to be home that day. They called the night before and left a message saying that their earliest appointment is 3 days later. When I called back their response was 'too bad, that's their process' and expected me to take more time off work it hopes that they will show up next time.

Horrible

Awful, and they haven’t even come to my home. Completely unreliable - they have twice pushed back the date of my dryer repair appointment to weeks later than the originally scheduled appointment, including once without notice. You cannot treat people like this.

this is an absolutely horrible company. I purchased an Allstate protection plan through Costco for my washing machine and Goodman Home solutions was the assigned technician. They rescheduled the appointment without notice. The text message they sent rescheduling. It had blank placeholders for the date and time. This is the same type of scam as when you go on their website and you try to leave a one star review and it erases it for “failure to verify the capcha" then they showed up at the wrong apartment and instead of calling texting or emailing me, they took a picture of the front door and left. So I have wasted an entire day off of work waiting on them.

This is a HORRIBLE Company

This is a HORRIBLE Company - They did not show up for an appointment to repair our dishwasher and when we tried to contact them the auto response message rattled off their website name so badly that I had to just google the company name. After holding for 45 minutes, I never got a person but, was finally able to leave a message. Meanwhile, I was also trying to connect on the website with their Chat Bot but, it kept saying all agents were busy to try later. In this day and age, if you can't even get a good AI Chat Bot to pacify your clients you are in trouble. It will be interesting to see how much longer you stay in business with this terrible customer service. THEN when I tried to leave a review on their website it wouldn't let me telling me the CAPTCHA verification failed to try again.

Horrific

Goodman home solutions was assigned through my extended warranty company. They have been horrendous to deal with. It took over 3 weeks to get an appointment because they only have one tech to service the Charleston area. On the day of the appointment, the tech doesn’t show up and I’m rescheduled for another week out. Finally, the tech shows for the rescheduled appointment, 2 hours late with no phone call. He doesn’t have parts to fix the fridge issue they need to be ordered. Followed up many times after the appointment to see when parts would be in. Today I’m told that Goodman home cannot obtain the parts and my work order was closed. I was never notified of the issue with ordering parts. Absolutely beyond furious. I’d give negative stars if that was an option.

My main home refrigerator stopped…

My main home refrigerator stopped working around Christmas of 2025. I called my warranty company they confirmed an appointment for me for the 30th of December with Goodman Home Solutions. The week of my appointment I got them text message not a phone call a text message that says your appointment is January 2nd 2026 (approx).

I had to go through Goodman Home Solutions because of my warranty company. This has been the worst experience I have ever had in my life with any type of repair services. Poor to zero communication, poor follow through, makes customers wait long period with appliances and changes appointments without customer knowledge.

When I called their phone number nobody answers when you text message them no one answers. January 7th came and I had a guy come out and he was on the phone with somebody I guess they were troubleshooting or whatever and he said oh I have to order parts it's going to be another week and a half two weeks. I'm having to call them and schedule an appointment again when the the parts arrive at my house. I call and make my third appointment. Same guy came out was on the phone again with somebody still my repair was not done. The technician failed to order all of the parts that were needed. Parts were ordered again had to wait another two weeks. Soon as I had the part in my hand I called again for an appointment they told me I couldn't get an appointment until February. I was scheduled an appointment on February 2nd, however on January 29th or 30th I got a message that says your appointment is scheduled for February 6th. I messaged them back and said my appointment is supposed to be on February 2nd. No response. Several phone calls were made nobody picks up the phone. I called my warranty company on the 30th and filed a complaint I was told somebody would get back with me nobody got back with me. I then received a voice message which they never let the phone ring they went straight to the voicemail prompt and left a message stating that apparently there was an issue on the appointment that they made and confirmed and that now my appointment was on February 6th between 1:00 and 5:00 p.m. I get a message on my phone that says the technician is one stop before me I get another message that says the technician is in route at 3:42 p.m. at almost 4:30 p.m. I called the business's phone number multiple times finally got to speak to somebody and of course they can't tell me when the technician is going to be arriving. So the technician finally arrives at almost 4:45 and states that they're outside. So I'm waiting for them to come inside I have to go out there and let them know to come inside. The technician that showed up was not the original technician which I was very thankful for. Because that technician had no sympathy had no compassion that a family had no Refrigeration for over 35 days. The technician didn't even order all of the parts that were needed.

The technician, JR ( I believe was his name) that showed up on February 6th 2026 , was very helpful he was very quick to get my refrigerator working. He explained what possibly happened and showed the parts of how this could happen what happened and that he was going to get it fixed. I am very thankful for this technician. If it was not for Jr, I would still have no refrigerator.

Awful rude technician

Twice Goodman Home Services did not show. The third time he was late. He arrived and was insulting of my home electrical. He was insulting of my use of my new green pans. He was extremely rude trying to provoke an argument. He refused to answer questions on what he was doing. He was not knowledgeable nor friendly. He refused to give me his name. He finally said Ollie after repeating questions. He refused to say what was wrong with my cooktop. I have never had such an awful experience with a service company.
