GoBritanya Student Accommodation Arvostelua

I booked a silver en-suite room back in March. After paying and signing the contract they confirmed I had secured a room. To my surprise when I arrived I was instead given a bronze en-suite room.

At no point did GoBritanya contact me to make me aware of this (except a automated check in email) and they have not offered to refund me for the price difference. I have contacted them to rectify the situation but the lack of communication is very disappointing. I would advise others to avoid this company.

Update:
After a frustrating process of speaking to several different people they have informed me that I received a gold room, not a bronze room. The email I have clearly states bronze and they haven’t given evidence that it is gold, so make of that what you will.

Sidhant was fantastic! He helped me find accomodation in a few minutes and was really patient with my requests.I suggest Gobritanya if you need to find accomodation easily in London.Very recommended!

great, very easy

I had a great experience with GoBritanya, especially with the assistance of Khushaal, who helped me secure my room at Chapter Lewisham. From the beginning, he was extremely helpful, responsive, and attentive to what I was looking for.

He took the time to understand my preferences and requirements and helped me find an accommodation option that suited them perfectly. The entire booking process was smooth and seamless, and Khushaal was always available to answer my questions and guide me through each step.

I really appreciate his professionalism, patience, and support throughout the process. Finding student accommodation can sometimes be stressful, but Khushaal made the whole experience straightforward and hassle-free.

I would definitely recommend GoBritanya and particularly Khushaal to anyone looking for student accommodation in London. Thank you for the excellent service!

Yogesh was lovely. Excellent customer service and excellent stay. Very safe and nice facilities. Would recommend to anyone.

Extremely disappointing move-in experience - room was filthy and not ready

Really disappointing experience with GoBritanya. On arrival, my room was nowhere near ready - there was dust, rubbish, food debris and stains around the apartment, and the bedside table was broken and coming away from the wall.

Despite paying a significant amount for the accommodation, I was left waiting well beyond the stated check-in time, which disrupted my plans and transport home. Trying to get help was also frustrating, as my call to support went unanswered.

For the hefty price, I expected the room to be clean and ready to use when I arrived, as stated in the contract. However, GoBritanya has failed to keep to their contractual obligations. If I were booking a room in this building again, I would book with “Chapter”, who own the building and are much more prompt with cleaning.

great thanks

They’re a really helpful and understanding team. We didn’t have any problems at all. Thanks again!

Kaushal helped us a lot with the booking. He was so sweet and understanding throughout , he understood what type of room I wanted and he was so kind and helpful, he was always available for my concerns. Thank you so much for your help.

Kaushal really helped us with our booking.
He was available all the time and cleared our issues.

really good

Onur helped me a lot and guided me nicely. Great experience

great personal attention

I would especially like to mention Khushaal, who supported me closely throughout the whole process during such a busy and tough period.
He put a lot of effort into improving some of the conditions that were difficult for me and worked with me until the contract details reached a point I was comfortable with. Thanks to his persistence and support, we were able to finalise the agreement successfully.
Khushaal is genuinely someone who gets things done. I really appreciate his professionalism, patience, and solution-focused approach, and I believe he is a real asset to GoBritanya.

Thank you, Khushaal!

I would definitely recommend GoBritanya to other international students looking for accommodation in the UK.

My Accommodation Experts, Chris and An, were very patient and friendly from the beginning. Whenever I had questions or needed help, they were always willing to follow things up for me with the sales and management teams. I really appreciated having someone I could actually reach and rely on during the booking process.

I did have an issue with my booking at one point, and I was honestly quite upset about it at the time. However, I think what matters is how a company responds when something goes wrong. Edward, the Operations Manager, contacted me personally after hearing about my concerns. He listened to my side of the situation, took my concerns seriously, and made a real effort to find a solution that worked for me. In the end, the issue was successfully resolved, and I was very happy with the outcome.

I also want to mention the communication, especially for other international students who might be worried about the language barrier. English isn't my first language, and I was a little nervous about discussing some of the more complicated details of my booking in English. Both Chris and An were very patient with me and made the conversation feel easy and comfortable. So if you're worried about communicating in English, I really don't think you need to be.

One thing I particularly appreciated was that the support didn't stop after I had paid. When I had a problem, I was able to reach someone who actually listened and helped me deal with it. As an international student preparing to move to another country, being treated with patience and respect really meant a lot to me.

Overall, my experience has made me feel that GoBritanya is a trustworthy agency that takes its customers seriously. I'm very grateful to Chris, An, and Edward for their help, and I would be happy to recommend GoBritanya to other international students. I'm now feeling much more reassured and excited about moving to the UK!
