GeoGuessr Arvostelua

whos stupid idea was it to make you pay for the game and then make you pay a subscription on top of that worst idea ever would put zero stars if i could

as a geography nerd i used to spend HOURS playing and even paid for premium back in 2021 (like 3$ a month so reasonable) and to now see you have to pay just to play is extremely disappointing :(

Damals gut, heute nur noch Abzocke

deceptive payment plans, and cheaters everywhere.

says 3.99 per month but really its almost 50 per year and you have to pay per year but it shows per month. deceptive at best.

clicked on monthly tab but it reverted yearly payment anyway it's really easy to do they need to be more careful.
However after emailing i got an instant refund

this game is ass because you need to pay 3 euro's. like whi is going to pay 3 whole euro's for a game you just going to play 3 times in your FK life. in my opinion i want kil

Bought 12 month subscription. They have billed for an additional 12 months without notice, permission or authorisation.

Appalling.

PLS MAKE IT FREE TO PLAY AGAIN YALL ARE NOT FAIR THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A FUN GEOGRAPHY GAME NOT A MONEY SCAM! RETURN TO FREE

Absolute BS company scamming paying customers, do not give money to play

Where Am I? brings a refreshing twist to the geography game genre by focusing on immersive street-walking videos, giving players a more dynamic and lifelike exploration experience compared to the static Google Street View imagery used in GeoGuessr.

Il gioco è molto bello ma onestamente non mi sembra il caso di permettere solo 3 tentativi gratis. Piuttosto vi conviene farvi pagare 10 euro per tutto l'anno, fareste più clienti. Buona serata

Immoral, unethical -- greed personified

I paid for the standard Geoguessr subscription for over 4 years. Come back to the game to find out that even with my subscription I can only play a game for 5 minutes every 15 minutes. and only a what kind of crap is that. thanks geoguessr, you had a loyal subscriber to no subscriber because you wanted more money. I used to pay $3/month to play the game. now I need to pay $10/month for the same features?? what a rip off.

They are sinister, firstly. Its a subscription service, which they reveal after you've given them your email. Then they spam you and dont give you the ability to unsubscribe to their unwanted mail. They are evil. All i can do is tell you to stay away.

What a great exploration game. Reminds me of a GuessWhereYouAre.com (which is free but doesn't have yet so many features). I always like to explore the world with GeoGuessr!

I played this game for years, and took a long break because of real life complications, however it was free when I had played.

To come back and find that it now is costing money to play effectively, is just downright disgusting, I did my research too, this was free for 10 years, only to go subscription based, beginning of this year.

Instead of asking your community to support your creation, via donations or a cosmetics shop or anything they put the entire thing behind a subscription pay wall.

A lot of these reviews are correct, this is now a Scam

I paid a subscription that only allowed me to play 5 minutes every 15 minutes. I deleted my account right away and blocked the virtual card I used to subscribe. This game isn't a joke, is just a scam.
