Unnotified delivery attempt, unhelpful and misleading support, partial delivery, lack of accountability and communication, failure to follow through. NEVER AGAIN.

Zero stars for customer service

Zero stars for customer service! I purchased 2 mattress toppers only needing one where I received one as a gift. So I emailed to enquire on returning the unopened topper still in the shipping box. A week later received a response telling me no can’t return items like this due to hygiene reasons. I replied and explained with hygiene not playing a part here with it still being in the box they shipped it in, would they allow it? Another week later they reply stating they consider the item used the moment it leaves the warehouse! To protect their customers they don’t allow items like this to be returned feeling I could have tampered with it. Just unsure how I could have tampered with something still sealed in the box inside a vacuum sealed bag! Memory foam toppers expand making it impossible to get it back in the tiny box it came in, plus how do your vacuum seal something to not make it look like it was tampered with? Anyways, I felt they could be lenient with their polices considering the situation where I offered to bring it to the store for inspection. Answer was still no! So I don’t plan on shopping with them ever again since they can’t trust me as a customer and there is no reason why it can’t be returned since it was unopened and vacuumed sealed. They rather lose a customer than just take it back where they could easily sell it again.

Zero stars for this company spent a lot…

Zero stars for this company spent a lot of money on furniture with them for it to break after 12 months and because the warranty run out. They refuse replace or repair the product or come to any resolution. Ignorant Customer Service didn’t even get a response from the owner of the company when I emailed him and his director they just take your money and leave you with a broken product and they won’t help you repair it. They won’t even respond to Customer protection so I’d go somewhere else. If you’re going to buy furniture steer clear of these guys.

Terrible quality and even Worse service!

I recently purchased a Captain 3 seater lounge suite online from Furniture Bazaar for my husband's birthday. The lounge I selected was the shape and colour that he was after (dark grey), so I paid $1999 for it, with the colour and style he wanted which the website said was in stock, and paid the extra for the courier delivery.
The store called me to advise me that the colour that I wanted would not be in stock until 4 months later but I can have another colour (light grey). It was not what I wanted but hubby would be without a lounge so I said yes to the available colour.
The lounge arrived and once together I noticed it was terrible quality. The edges of the backrests were flimsy and leant on an angle. If I held them and pulled back fourth gently they just flapped around. After a week or so with only one person using the lounge the lean became more severe. Each part of the lounge had it's faults, so it is not as though it was one faulty piece, all bits were rickety. The next few weeks the seat my husband uses leant and further back and is now on a very uncomfortable angle. I contacted the store and they spoke to the supplier voicing my concerns and they sent someone out from Furniture Bazaar to inspect the lounge. When they called to organise the visit the man was quite rude and cut me off multiple time when I was trying to explain the lounge faults and also the way to get to my house.
I was not home when they arrived, as it is my husband's lounge I left him to discuss it with them. My husband said the same man that I spoke to on the phone was completely dismissive during their encounter.
Once they inspected the lounge they explained that when sitting on a lounge one must sit in the centre of each seat without leaning on the armrest, backrest, or lean to either side of the chair. Also he said that all recliners will distort and twist to the point that it is (a few week old lounge with the end leaning backwards at a 45° angle backwards and towards the floor) and there is nothing wrong with it.
The other end end seat has never been used and it flaps around as if bolts are missing.
The representative acknowledged that the gaps in between each part of the lounge were excessive and that he would speak to the supplier but after a few attempts no one has gotten back to me since they left.
I AM FURIOUS AND HIGHLY DISAPPPONTED in the quality of the lounge that I paid good money for from Furniture Bazaar and after only a few months of owning the piece of crap lounge that they supplied it is almost ready to go to the tip. The lack of communication after raising my concerns and having the "lounge suite" inspected has infuriated me and I will be sharing my experience everywhere I can. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS LOUNGE AS YOU WILL BE THROWING AWAY YOU HARD EARNED MONEY. I am devistated that a nice present to a loved one turned into him being awfully uncomfortable and unable to use the present that I got him. Once it arrived the lounge was sealed to avoid any stains and this did not help and with the lighter colour the lounge is FILTHY looking even though 2 of the 3 seats are not used.

Be warned purchasing online with them as well: No receipt/tax invoice was supplied plus what is said to be in stock could not try be. The only communication you get when you order is the e-way receipt and you are left to wonder if the order went through until the warehouse calls you days later, which I am not sure if that would even happen for others, they may have only called due to the stock issue.
I explained when I initially contacted them that I did not want any replacement parts, as it is not just the one part but all 4 parts that were faulty, I wanted them to take it back and I would physically go in and find a lounge that was decent quality. If the warantee was to replace the whole lot I knew that the new one would be that same crappy quality, as all pieces of mine already are.
The fact that you cannot leave reviews on their website or social media pages tells me that other have had similar experiences.

Unacceptable service and delivery

10 weeks ago we purchased a lounge suite and single chair from the Osborne Park store. At the time of purchase we were told that the single chair would need to be assembled by the customer. I then asked about the lounge and was assured it would be assembled for us. The items were just delivered by "Perth Taxi Trucks" (a company that doesn't appear to exist) and the delivery staff were rough with the furniture and rude to us. The refused to take away the packaging or assemble the lounge suite. We had to sign to say the lounge was delivered in "good order" but actually have no idea what condition it is in as it is in pieces all over the floor. I would not recommend purchasing goods from this store.
