Incompetent and disorganised
The product itself is fine (although the description vs reality of the large vs small screws was way off and had me confused), but Fantastic Furniture are so disorganised. I ordered the table online, and I had to dig to find where to pick it up from.
The warehouse was closed. Went to the store and only 2 people were working, one with customers who I overheard had to be home all day in case the delivery truck arrives, and they (Fantastic Furniture) can't give a specific time or timeframe.
Other employee finally sees me after 5mins of standing there. Tells me the warehouse is closed that day because of a health risk. Yeah, thanks for notifying me of that.
I go the next day to pick it up and they took ages to open the warehouse door, to the point I was walking away back to my car when it opened. Then the guy took ages to get my table. Other guy talking to me said "let me just check where he is", first guy comes back and says "I didn't think we had any". Um, what? I ordered and it said ready for pick up, tf?
I will never order online with them again, and I have my doubts about buying in-store if they're that incompetent in other areas, I wouldn't wanna give them money.

Their delivery drivers are the worst
We ordered furniture, which came in 4 heavy boxes. We live on a battle-axe block. They left our boxes on the street. I had to load them into my car, and they didn't fit properly, so my back doors were open, and had to risk my doors flying open as I drove it to my house. Absolutely ridiculous. Their couriers are shi!.

I had an extremely frustrating experience with Fantastic Furniture and would strongly caution anyone considering ordering from them online.
I placed an order expecting standard delivery, however after paying hundreds of dollars in delivery fees I was later told the items would only be dropped on the street, despite this not being made clear at the time of purchase. Living in an apartment, this is completely impractical as I cannot physically carry large furniture items upstairs myself.
When I contacted customer service to cancel the order, I was repeatedly told it was impossible because a “third-party supplier had acknowledged the order”. However, I later confirmed that many of the items had not even been picked up or shipped yet, meaning cancellation should have been straightforward.
Instead of resolving the issue, I was told that I would need to wait for multiple separate deliveries, refuse them individually, and then potentially pay return freight. This is completely unreasonable and shows a total lack of accountability from the company.
To make matters worse, I was given conflicting information by different representatives, and at one point I was outright misled about the status of my order.
Customers should be aware that once you place an order with Fantastic Furniture, they may refuse to cancel it even when the items have not yet shipped, leaving you stuck with delivery charges and unnecessary stress.
This experience has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I will not be ordering from Fantastic Furniture again and strongly recommend others consider alternative retailers.

Meaning the price you see when you add the otem to your cart will INCREASE at checkout. WHAT A JOKE. Waste of time. Shows they will go to any ridiculous lengths to make an extra buck, even if it means to go to unethical lengths. That’s how you know their pathetic business is struggling.

Only received half my dining table, came damaged
I ordered a dining table nearly 3 weeks ago, received the base of it a week ago and still no table top to be seen. Base has scratches and box was damaged upon arrival. Put in a request online, tried calling. Seems to be an ongoing problem with Fantastic Furniture at the moment, wish I seen these reviews first!
Half delivered and still waiting a month later.…
An item I purchased came in two boxes both on different days, they delivered half the item and another half of a completely different item I never purchased. It’s been a month of back and forth with fantastic furniture and all they keep saying is it’s been escalated. Never buy anything online from fantastic furniture.
We have bought a Havana king bed frame…
We have bought a Havana king bed frame with sleepscape deluxe king metress two weeks ago.the king size bed frame and metress was not displayed in belrose showroom.but double bed and metress was separately displayed in show room.in their advertisement they said that 30 day refund and 3 year warranty.
Once we assembled the bed frame and opened the packing of metress only we found that metress was so high up and the side panels of bed frame was discomfortable when get in and out of bed.so we asked them to exchange to bravo king slate bed frame which is the same price of Havana bed frame.but the sales person said they can't do the exchange as they need them with the original boxes.and ask to buy bravo bed frame for $299 which is selling at $399.that means I have to pay more $299 and buy another bed frame.this is how they serve for customers.we had bought many items from them before but this is how they treat for us.so why they display 30 day refund and 3 years warranty if the customer feels discomfort with their beds.those side bed panels always hitting on legs when get in and out of bed...I went two times to belrose to complain my issue and contact customer care once they said they can't do anything with it.

Wrong product received. Nightmare to return
Ordered two bedside lamps online. More than a week later I received two lamps that looked the same, but suspiciously had a different name. Tried one out and it didn’t have the variable brightness feature described in the listing.
Contacted them online. Took them 3 days to respond and they asked for a photo of the problem. I responded and let them know there was a photo in my original message to them, clearly showing the box with a different product name on it. 3 days later they responded that their supplier confirmed that it was the same product. I responded by pointing out the product description on their website and that the product didn’t have the promised features - it just looked the same. 2 days later they responded and acknowledged the issue.
Now I could return the lamps. But despite purchasing these online and being delivered, I was required to drive across town and return these to a store. I did this, and was told they would have to fill out a paper form by hand and send it off for processing. I might get my refund in 7 days.
The only nice thing to say is that the young woman in the store was lovely. Every other aspect of dealing with FF was atrocious. Management of this company should be ashamed.

Purchased KOBI cabinet and book case from the Geelong store.
PRODUCT = fine, not amazing but for what it is I have no complaints. Very easy to put together and easy to follow instructions.
SERVICE = SO AVERAGE. Staff member couldn't even be bothered to walk over to me where I was standing in front of the item that I was interested in.
Instead, he felt it was appropriate to yell from about 20 metres away and told me that he knew what product I was interested in.
If I hadn't really wanted it, then I would have walked out because of this type of service.
COLLECTION = DISGRACEFUL. The loading bay staff member was SO RUDE. He grunted, sighed, a bit of eye rolling thrown in there and made me feel like I was such a "pain in the ass" for wanting to collect my purchase.
I drove away happy that I had the item that I wanted but never again would I go back to that store.

Product was faulty and staff rude
Bought a mattress and found that it was so bad I couldn't possibly sleep on in, or should I say in it as I sunk into a hole that didn't bounce back as I got up. Took it back to the store only to deal with rude unhelpful staff. If the product doesn't do as it says or is faulty I should be entitled to a refund. I'll never shop there again.
Poor customer Service
We went to the retail outlet of Fantastic Furniture at 825 Princess Hwy, Pakenham to buy a gaming chair. The price was $279 and it was not on stock. We decided to make an order and put a deposit by using our $50 gift card. The sales person started to process the order and could not complete it and she then called another sales person by the name Cloyee. In the meantime, we were looking at other items in the store.
When we came back, both salespersons told us that we had to pay the full amount as per the inoice prepared to finalise the deal. Then we questiond why we have not been informed about it earlier. Then the other salesperson told us that the company policy is to pay a minimum of 30% for an order. We were a bit dissatisfied with the quality of customer services of Fantastic and the dealings of the saleperson. They were not at all apologetic. We decided to make full payment. The order no 3702000005727.
As a valued customer we expect that the salesperson explains the terms and conditions of the company before an order is finalised. The salesperson should be more customer oriented.

Very surly and aggressive delivery people pushing to sign for number of boxes when not seen. Damaged floor. Zero customer care , care line not answered . Not even opened the boxes yet ... oh and the delivery was light !!! But no way to contact them on phone , so will have to drive to the store , just not worth it

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding an unacceptable delivery experience associated with my recent order.
The delivery driver was extremely rude, aggressive, and disrespectful. He refused to deliver my package to my apartment and stated that it was “against policy” to take the item upstairs. This was never communicated to me at the time of purchase, despite paying over $300 for the product and delivery service.
In addition, there were issues locating the correct address, which further delayed the delivery. The situation was handled very poorly, and the driver’s attitude was completely unprofessional.
What concerns me most is the driver’s conduct and comments. At one point, he made an alarming and inappropriate remark implying that he felt unsafe and accused me of intending to harm him or rape him. This accusation is completely baseless, offensive, and unacceptable. Such behaviour should never occur in a professional delivery service.
I would like to ask: what if I were elderly or required assistance? Is this the level of service Fantastic Furniture considers acceptable?
This experience has left me extremely disappointed and uncomfortable. Due to this incident, I have lost confidence in ordering online from Fantastic Furniture.
I request that this matter be investigated seriously and that I receive a formal response explaining how this situation will be addressed to prevent it from happening again.

Ordered online. Order never arrived. Been fighting for a refund for 2 months now and still have no refund and no product. Can’t call anyone to help and you email and get no response. Never ordering from Fantastic Furniture again.

I wish I'd read these reviews before buying a mattress from Fantastic Furniture. It's been 15 days and still nothing. I've tried to contact them several times and with no result. According to the tracking info the mattress has been onboard for delivery for 3 days. I live 10kms from the transport depot.
I won't be buying anything from them again, not online or in-store.
