Your company is a fraud. I canceled a year ago. You insist on sending me your horrible product. And now you tell my credit card I have a subscription. I have emails to prove I canceled my subscription and was told you would take back the received product. I asked for refund and was told no. I want the subscription canceled abs made aware how to get a refund !!!!!’n ASAP

I started using the custom shampoo and conditioner in end of summer of 2022. With a year of use, I realized that the products did not work out for my goals. I have thin, oily straight hair with dandruff. When you first come out of the shower it seems all oils are gone and dandruff but next day strong sings of both were there. Besides the product not working, they charge you at their liking. To get around the subscription times, not saving any payment method works. You have to punch in all your card info each time to order and you will get emails each time the company tries to charge you for the subscription. Each time they charge, since there is no card on file the email says " sorry, there was an error with your payment method", so you didn't get the product at their forced subscription times. One day in Nov 2023 I got an email that they submitted my order. I checked to make sure my acct was not hacked & it wasn't. I checked to make sure I didn't get lazy and save my card on accident & I did not save it. So they randomly charged me when the previous mouth I got the email saying there is no payment method. I emailed them right away within minutes to tell the to cancel and close my account and they did not respond. My credit card company had to get involved to resolve this.

I cancelled my subscription with them long ago because I didn't need it any more and they charged me again for a subscription I cancelled. No way to contact them as their live chat does not ever work and I have tried emailing them several times with no response. I will not be resubbing with them in the future, I had to have my bank block them from charging me. Be aware of this if you plan on using them in the future.

I tried this company in August 2022. I found the product to be acceptable, but the prices were too high, so I cancelled my subscription.
Since then I have moved home, and began a course of treatment which rendered the product of no use to me. I have not used my function of beauty account for over a year.
This morning I woke up to see I had been charged £56.00, and that the order placed could not be canceled.

I did not place this order. I have not logged in - it is being shipped to my old address, not that I can use it or would want it if I could.
I understand I signed up to a subscription service, when I first placed my order in August 2022. However, the current subscriptions on offer are 1/2/3 months, not randomly restarting 16 months after the last order was placed.

I highly encourage you all to avoid this company, something very strange is going on for them to be able to automatically place this order on my behalf so long after a previous one. Don't trust them with your payment details!

I LOVE my function of beauty Shampoo and Conditioner however, I have thick(ish) curly hair and tend to use more conditioner than shampoo. I wish they would do a size larger than the 16oz. But my hair has never been happier, and the curls are amazing!

Been a customer with function of beauty for 5 years, no problems at all, great product. However there is a price increase, which now costs me an extra £20! no notice given. I placed an order 2 weeks ago, not shipped. No response on emails. I want to cancel now. Gone downhill.

They have a 'new website'. It messes up when i try to log in, gives me a shop verify popup that disappears before I've had a chance to put the code in, and they cancelled my subscription, which means I need to restart the whole thing again. Paying for delivery which I wasn't before due to having an active subscription. One of their customer service staff sent me a code for 'free shipping' on 13th november without telling me it expired on 17th. So of course by the time I got the site working and logged in, it didn't work any more. I emailed them asking about it and it takes days for them to get back to me. And their only response is 'sorry about that, but we have an offer on at the moment'. Not helpful, the offer does not equal the value of the expired voucher. I will not pay money for their website issues. Their products are expensive enough as it is.

Expensive, small and dried my hair out horribly. I was sent a confirmation email about the subscription renewal date and went to log on to cancel, but my subscription was missing from my account. I tried daily to have it show up and finally sent an email (their live chat isn’t and has not been active) to have them cancel it, but they didn’t get back to me until after the renewal and now won’t refund me. Absolutely do not recommend.

In line with other recent reviews, there seems to be a problem with order fulfilment / customer service right now. Firstly, my regular order usually priced £42 was suddenly £75, without me making any changes to it. This was automatically deducted from account, and included £20 express international shipping which I would never opt into. I immediately cancelled my subscription and emailed customer service asking for an explanation. It's now been several weeks and not only have I not had a response but also the order itself hasn't arrived. I didn't receive any shipping information at the time, so it is difficult to know what the problem is. I have sent another email. As another reviewer commented, their live chat button isn't active, so email seems to be the only option.

I have placed an order in the very beginning of October. It is currently mid November. I have hear nothing from them about my order, my products, shipping, nothing but a confirmation email when I paid a decent 100 dollars for a few bottles of soap. I have sent not one, not two, but FOUR emails yet no reply, for around two weeks. They sent a tracking link that doesn’t work and just completely ignore my emails. I am so upset. This is hard earned money, just waisted. So much disrespect. This company is NOT a legitimate one. All of those YouTubers are just sponsors. Function of beauty- I you are reading this, you better get back to me or I will sue. You should be ashamed of yourself

I received Function of Beauty as a gift several years ago. I've had issues in the past with a dry scalp. Since using the shampoo and conditioner my scalp has been fine. My hair is hydrated and so is my scalp. I get a really nice shine on my hair too with lots of body.

If I could give it zero stars I would. I am highly disappointed with the customer service and the fact that they are taking money out of my account without my permission. I did not update my payment information so they found my PayPal and started taking money out of it when I canceled my subscription. There is no way to get a hold of customer service I have tried email their direct chat isn’t working and they have no phone number. I am highly dissatisfied and will NERVER recommend this company!!!

Function of Beauty's disregard for customer cancellations and unexpected charges have made my experience highly disappointing. Despite multiple attempts to cancel my subscription, I continue to receive products I no longer want after TWO YEARS. Their lack of responsiveness is a serious concern. Think twice before subscribing.

Jeg har tidligere købt nogle varer fra dem, og havde sat den til kun at få dem den ene gang, og nu har de trukket penge fra min konto, uden at jeg overhovedet vidste det eller fik noget at vide! (Udover en fakturabesked fra PayPal).
Kan forresten heller ikke logge ind på deres hjemmeside, for min e-mail findes åbenbart ikke inde på deres side, så nu sidder jeg her med ingen penge tilbage på kontoen, og måneden er først lige startet.

Had an issue with cancelling my subscription, and an extra order was sent out to me and I was charged. I raised this with customer service and they were amazing with their response and refunded the money. Great!

Prior to using Function of Beauty, my hair was course and brittle due to graying. It had also changed to a wavy frizz. After using Function of Beauty for several months, my hair is soft and manageable. I flat iron it every day and it is still very healthy. I liked being able to choose what to put into my shampoo. I really believe that it has strengthened my hair and has made it more manageable. I highly recommend Function of Beauty shampoo and conditioner.

Products from Function of Beauty have really helped me with issues with my scalp and hair. I also like the fact you can choose the fragrance.
