They don't cancel subsciptions. Password for account will no longer work and they dont do password resets to cancel subscription. Finally charging back with credit card.

I have been a customer for over three years. I received a shipment notification for an upcoming shipment and logged in to canceled my subscription. That was likely three months ago. I just received a shipment notification. I chatted with their customer service to dispute, and conveniently they have no record of my prior cancellation, and "due to the nature of the product it's non-refundable." She then gave me my tracking information! I googled this issue, and apparently I am not the only one they have done this to.

As a long term customer I'm very disappointed that they've made the shampoo and customer alot smaller in quantity and charge more!

when i first got my shampoo it was amazing my hair is soo nice… but now they are charging double amount and giving less product and even if u subscribe they still charge £20 for delivery and its just extra money for nothing… sadly am leaving function of beauty bcus its not the same as it was 3 years ago… even the app is strange now so bye bye from me cus every thing about them is bad and they dont even help any more.. thts all

Jeg har i flere år brugt deres produkter. Det er dog slut nu, hvor FoB er blevet et utroværdigt firma. Jeg har ikke modtaget min seneste ordre, jeg har ikke fået mine penge retur heller (det er nu tre måneder siden ordre), og FoB besvarer ikke mine mails, men påstår blot via korrespondance på Instagram, at de ikke kan finde mine mails. For et par dage siden hævede de så penge for endnu en ordre. De har hævet næsten 3000 kr. i alt, og jeg har intet modtaget for pengene.
Hold jer langt væk!

I asked to cancel my order right as it was placed (automatic order) and was denied because it was already processing. Not sure how it can process within minutes… anyways, after being a loyal customer for over 6 years, I would have expected a better customer service response but the interaction was so mediocre and poor. I have subsequently cancelled my subscription entirely.

SCAM!! DON’T BUY!!! Bought a three step hair care routine for dry and oily scalp and after one use, my scalp won’t stop peeling off. I The 10% off is a scam too because if you check at the end of checkout, they charge you just the exact same amount without the 10%. Lastly, NON-EXISTENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. They will not respond whether you live or die

The product is okay but customer service is the worst. It is impossible to contact them. I have sent three messages about a missing shipment and they just don't reply. They also seem to delete discounts AFTER you've checked out and then charge you the full price. You don't know until you've checked your email. Very dodgy company and the product quality is dropping. Not as good as when i first started with them 4 years ago. I won't be getting Function hair care products anymore.

The product is great, so great I’ve been using it for over 3 years, my hair goals have been met and I’ve been happy. However recently it’s IMPOSSIBLE to contact customer services. They add on things to your order as a “free extra” then charge you for it, they have taken away the 10% discount for subscribers without notifying the changes, the delay order feature does not work and there’s NO way to speak to anyone.

My friends gave me a gift card of 75 euros, but the code doesn't work and I didn't get any answer or help from the costumer Support. I am very disapointed!

I love the silicone free conditioner with lavender, it’s the only conditioner I ever tried that makes my hair hydrate and smooth and really soft.
My hair has been so soft and no breakage since I switch to silicone free formula.
My hair is wavy, fine and balanced.

The reason for the 3 stars instead of 5 is because I wish the bottle and the pump where different.
I wish the bottle was glass instead of plastic - because of enviromental damage of plastic. I would pay more to have a glass bottle! And also it would fit the product better, because the product such nice quality.
And I wish the pump was better quality, so it wouldn’t break as easily and I could stop ordering them when ever I buy new conditioner + shampoo.

Also I can’t seem to ger the last 2 cm of product, up from the bottle I always have to cut it xD

I postponed my subscription as I still have product. In the middle of the night an order was placed for only the conditioner. As I live in a different time zone I cannot live chat with them so I filled in the contact form to cancel the order. It has been weeks and no answer, the order is almost being delivered. I will dispute with my payment provider. Do not order here, shoddy customer service while I've been a previously happy customer.

Order still hasn't shipped from 2 months ago but they've took my money back in December. Tried to contact customer services 3 times and they've never responded. Absolute scam artists, AVOID AT ALL COSTS

My details on the order states that my package was never shipped. It was renewed on January 12th and was paid the same day but was never shipped. I reached out 2 weeks after I ordered to see if they could fix it by sending me a replacement, which seemed to be fine with them, but here I am on February 12 with still no package being shipped.

ive been a customer with FoB for a considerable amount of time and i love the shampoos, but the customer service is horrible.

Admittedly it was my own fault to a degree as ive moved house and forgot to update my shipping address. As soon as i got the email to say i was being billed i went to the website and changed my address and deleted the old one.

However, it was still showing my old address on the order info. its impossible to contact them either by email or live chat - which doesnt work.

i received an email concerning the renewal stating "need to change address? - email us", so i emailed them instantly with my order number and change of address - but got an automated reply stating that they would respond in 7-14 days.

Considering my subscription costs £50, im not impressed at the lack of customer service. especially as ill probably not be able to get my shampoo from my old address. The lack of support is shocking.

I love Function of Beauty's products and have been a customer for about 4 years, but the recent customer service I received was supremely disappointing. They had a promotion to buy 2 products, get 1 free + free hair ties. It did not state anywhere that all 3 products had to be haircare so I added a body wash as my 3rd item. It worked at checkout but then when I got my order confirmation I had been charged full price for all 3 items. I contacted customer service right away and it was almost a month before I received a response, only for them to say the deal was only for haircare. I sent them the promo email I received which did not state anything about body care being excluded. On top of that, when I received my order, I did not receive my free hair ties despite them being part of my order confirmation.

I received a final response another month later, offering a miniscule 10% discount. EXTREMELY disappointing since that is nowhere near the value of the promotion, on top of the nuisance of having to email them multiple times before receiving responses.

I enjoy the customization and options and it seems fine for my hair, but buyer beware when you try to participate in any kind of promotion.

I used to buy the custom product but the price increased 40% so it became too expensive. I then switched to the prepackaged bottles from boots and they are terrible. My hair is greasy after a day - they deposit a lot of heavy weight on your hair. Won’t be buying again

I've previously been so happy about the products and have easily been able to contact them and receive help however, this time they've completely ghosted me after taking my money. I ordered on the 2nd of January, the money was collected on the 3rd, I've written twice and haven't heard back. Now it's the 31st of January - almost a MONTH after! It is really bad customer service!
