Forex Cargo Arvostelua 

I sent 6 jumbo boxes to my family in the Philippines last early October. Forex was claiming they should arrive before Christmas. The boxes arrived after Christmas. There are signs the boxes was opened. Items was re-arranged and some items are missing. I always packed the boxes with lots of tape and sealed the boxes properly with lots of tape. All of the items inside has name who they belong to. When the items reached my family all the name tag on the items were gone. Their employees are stealing items from the boxes.

I have been using Forex, Northern Virginia for at least, if not more than 20 years and send at least 25+ boxes per year to help various unfortunate people in the Philippines.

About a couple of years or so, Forex was sold to another entity (Forex in CA?) and from then on, the service went to crap. Shipments door to door used to be 2 months but with the new owners, it's now 3+ months. The company does not care at all about their customers and just tells us what we want to hear and same goes with the chat, all the responses are so canned!

Here are a few examples on how terrible these new owners are:
1) I rushed to put together 3 grocery boxes and the boxes were picked up beginning of Sept. 2022. As of today Dec. 20th, the last update from the website is, Dec. 6th and location is South Korea. These boxes are meant for Christmas meals of 2 families.
2) First week of Aug. 2022, 5 boxes were picked-up and contained medicines. Actual date of delivery to the recipient was Nov. 26, 2022.
3) First week of June 2022, 5 boxes were picked-up and actual date of delivery to the recipient was Sept. 25, 2022.

Now regarding the staff, they are awesome, very helpful and always a pleasant experience hence the reason for the 1-star otherwise I would have given no or negative stars.

For anyone reading this review and know of a better and more reliable cargo company, please share any information. As for now, I will continue to search for another cargo company as I am really on the fence about giving Forex my business.

If only I could give a zero rating, that’s how bad the service is! We sent our box middle of August, but it still hasn't arrived! Funny because we are flying to the Philippines on Dec 10, so I guess we'll come first before the box arrives. There is even no assurance that the box will arrive before Christmas. Such a shame!!!

Forex Cargo UK couldn't care less about their customers. Their unreliability and conscious decision to not honour appointments on a whim shows no respect and integrity and does not deserve anyone's trust. A waste of time!

We have used Forex a couple of times before and they were fine. We just ordered a new box to fill, and we got an e-mail asking us to call their driver, who is called Fernan. We did that, and were told, "We're not doing that area any more." Why on Earth couldn't they simply reply to our online request by telling us they don't service our area? Why do we need to call them to be told we are not welcome? And if a company in the south-east cannot cover an address in the south-east, it certainly doesn't bode well for their ability to serve other parts of the UK!

Very poor customer service. Up until now they can’t give me the details where my box is. They picked up my box Aug 26th, and I can’t still track my box in their website. The staff said because they haven’t entered it yet in the system. It’s been a month now, they don’t even give me update yet.

Forex Cargo UK: Today, we had 2 delivery guys collect our boxes and they were so rude. They came 30 minutes before estimated time and I have asked them if they can wait a bit for us to finish and the guy flatly said no. He said this should have been ready. I even told him it takes time for me as I am pregnant and he said its not his problem. I said they should have messages us to inform us that they are on the way and he walked off while I was talking.  Both the guy I talked to and the driver are Very rude and disrespectful to a pregnant lady. I called him out for being rude and he said I was the one being rude from the start in which I asked him in what way and he didn't respond. I told him I will reschedule and he said if I asked nicely he would come back for it. The nerve to say that line. I would not apologise for something I didn't do. So I said I will just reschedule and then he said he will come back for 1 hour and a half to get the box. I am not going to use this service anymore. The only reason we used them because previously the person collecting our boxes was very kind and was Respectful even though the boxes delivered was delayed but now I will never use their service if this are the type of people with rude attitude and being disrespectful collecting the boxes.

Experience from London. Horrible people!!! Last year the delivery collection guy had a hard time bringing the box from the 3rd floor from the apartment building so this year we decided to help them by bringing the empty boxes down to the ground floor then fill it up there to make it easier for them. We did this during the collection date since we can't block the stairway for the other tenants in the apartment BUT when the 2 collection guys came my sister who is pregnant was still taping the box closed and they yelled at her for not being ready despite them coming 20 minutes ahead of the scheduled time they gave us. We still had 20 minutes to close the box but they acted as if we were ungrateful for them coming early. My sister asked them to wait because she was just closing the box but he raised his voiced and told her she was being rude and threatened not to come back. They then turned their backs at her and walked out the door even when she was still trying to talk to them. At this point she was extremely stressed out and struggled to keep up due to her pregnant state (8 1/2 months pregnant!) and told them that she will just rescheduled. They then told her that if she was nicer to them they might come back in 1 hour and made a joke about her current state. From this point I had rushed down the stairs upon hearing the commotion and when I went out and they realised that she wasn't alone they changed their tone. We told them we will reschedule since they cant even wait for us to tape the top of the box closed and they quickly insisted that they will come back in 1hr and 30 minutes. IT WAS A EXTREMELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!! They had no right to verbally assault a pregnant woman like that or even any of their costumers! We will never use this company again! If my sister had suffered any consequences due to the stressful situation the put her through we would sue them. DO NOT USE THIS COMAPANY!

Bacolod branch delivery truck driver/porter may require extensive customer service training. There is no care or whatsoever regarding handling and delivery of my box and this is already the second time around. Drop the box from the truck. Left the boxes outside the gate for my elderly mother to push it inside while raining and drive away without a word. Lost/ stolen items and takes 4 months to arrive. Dishonest warehouse staff. Though customer service is responsive via chat, all they can do it forward your concerns to other departments who take forever to respond and eventually deny all responsibility for missing items. Missing items are not just a few, they are a lot! Be prepared to lose your items and get very stressed out!

I finally got to the problems with people's boxes taking so long to get from London to manila it takes around 30 shipping days to get to the Asia hub it's then the problems occur. The actual boat sits in Singapore for another 30 days plus which is outrageous and it's all because of covid issues. The people who control the port in Singapore make the crews wait 2 to 4 weeks before they can move on a complete shambles.

We dropped of a large box at our local Forex pick-up location in late December 2021. By mid Jan 2022 we could track our package via the forex tracking web page. The updates were helpful but did take a while due to our package going over via ship. Once it left the US it was tracked in Manila 3 weeks later. It took about 2 weeks to leave the Manila area (Valenzuela City) and head down to Mindanao (Butuan). Our family received the box in good condition about 1 month after it left Manila. The box was delivered to Siargao so there were other smaller ships/boat and trucks involved I'm sure. We are very happy with their service and will be using them again. Maraming Salamat!

I started with just one box because I wasn’t sure at first if the company can be trusted as I don’t really know anyone who has use their service and it got delivered according to the advertised length of time. Sent two boxes next and my family in Batangas got it again with no problem. Yesterday they received three boxes which is my third shipment, in good condition and earlier than what I anticipated. Forex earned my trust and confidence that my future shipment will arrive to my mom’s door with no hustle. I also love their website which updates real time. Contrary to a review I read, their customer service is actually very accommodating and give you the answers to your questions. I also think that the price is fair. The people at the store where we take the boxes help you moving the package from your vehicle which is so sweet of them because they are heavy. My mom also said that the delivery guys were also nice. My husband and I are now loyal customers and will continue to do business with them.

Their price list says extra £10 from outside London but in fact it is now £20 so i asked them if that was £20 per box or just extra £20 per pick up meaning if i send 3 boxes ( non promo ) do i pay extra £20 each box £60 or just £20but it was like talking to a brick wall

Second time of sending a box with Forex first time to Quezon City the latest box to a village in Illocus. Was a little apprehensive as the address was just the village name, however, I had no need to be concerned the box was delivered to the house itself. Excellent service both on pickup and delivery as wl as excellent tracking facility. Thank you Forex will be using you again this year

Received box. Perfect condition. But 60 days to deliver to house from USA. Everything inside perfect. Box looked brand new. Now 2 for 2 in quality shipping. The 60 days bothers me. But oh well. Better late than never

I have used this company 3 times, still waiting for 3rd delivery though. But the first two times were great as far as the company goes. Unfortunately the first shipment was placed in a container that U.S. Customs decided to take to their warehouse for a complete inspection. That held up delivery for 2 weeks. This is not the companys fault, they have no control over this, remember that the shipping estimates are just that, estimates. The first shipment took about 14 weeks, due to customs in U.S. The second shipment left their office in CA for the Philippines on 23 Aug 2019 and Arrived at my house in Manila on 12 October, not bad I think. I have never had trouble speaking to anyone on the phone during office hours in both the U.S. and Philippines. E-Mails can sometimes take a while to answer, but I have that experience with most companies that I deal with, so this is not exclusive to Forex. I use their consolidation services and am very pleased. As far as the one reviewers comment about the driver not being able to locate house and having to wait a week for the delivery that sucks, I would be livid also. Hopefully the company handled the situation. This was out of their U.S. offices BTW, not sure how things are handled in other countries.

We have used several cargo companies in the past and this one is by far they very worst, the day they were supposed to deliver the box they could not find the house so they drove away and when we called the driver he said he was now out of the area and it would 5 days before they would redeliver, we then tried calling their office and got no answer for 2 days, stay away from this company at all cost

Forex claim on their website that the shipping to various parts of the Philippines will take 7-8 weeks. That is an outright lie. It will take AT LEAST 12 weeks for your shipment to arrive - MINIMUM. There are faster shippers than this company. Try them.
