Flavourtown Bakery Arvostelua 

Ordered a birthday cake as I have been to their Fulham branch and the cakes have been great.
The cake received was SO DRY and poorly iced, it was also meant to have sprinkles throughout the cake (funfetti) but there was about 10 sprinkles throughout the whole cake. I complained of course and was advised due to supplies they didn't have sufficient supplies and was refunded £18, bare in mind I paid £75 for this cake. They also said they couldn't judge the cake texture as they didn't have it in front of them, you could see in the picture it was over baked and dry!!! It looked like it was iced by a 10 year old and I was informed the pictures on the site are for "illustration purposes only" and as it is a "complex" cake it might vary from this... the cake has different coloured icing as a base and white icing on top of it, if this is what they call "complex" NONE of their bakers should enter any kind of competitions!!! Birthday was ruined and the refund was a slap in the face quite frankly. Flavourtown will NEVER see me again!!!

The best carrot cake ever. The birthday boy (60) wanted a carrot cake. After a bit of research found flavourtown and coincidently they have a store in my local high street. It arrived on time as described and with not too much icing. It was four layers of perfect moist carrot cake. Looked fantastic and tasted even better. I will definitely be back. I would also want to say thanks to the lovely woman on the phone as I was ordering who explained the whole process to me as I had missed the calendar on website for ordering. Great service great cake

I will be back to Flavourtown. I ordered a gluten free Vanilla birthday cake, which was amazing. Professionally packaged and delivered in London, then it made a 2nd leg journey for the birthday boy all the way to Peterborough without a scratch on it. The cake is a masterpiece. Moist, delicious and still fantastic 4 days after the big event. Flavourtown, if you are reading this, please do a Gluten Free Carrot cake...yum yum, yum.

Ordered the Ferrero Rocher birthday cake and it was bigger than expected! Tasted amazing and lasted a good week in the fridge. I needed to rearrange the delivery date after placing the order and the team were able to accommodate. Would recommend and order from them again for sure.

I received the best service ever today at the Richmond shop of Flavourtown Bakery courtesy of Jordan and Efe. I can't thank these two gentlemen enough. I went in there today desperate on what to do regarding my daughter's birthday cake as she is so fixated on a Flavourtown cake and I could not get the cake she wanted online for the date we needed it. So it was such a relief that Efe and Jordan listened to me and went out of their way to sort all my issues. Thanks a lot guys. You are the best!
And by the way, your cakes are soo beautiful. Even better in real life than the pictures...

Excellent customer service. Brilliant birthday cake and everyone was more than happy!

Shockingly bad customer service. Seriously unbelievable. Asked to rearrange a delivery address (which is 2/3 miles from original address) for my girlfriends birthday which they flat out refused and even had the audacity to say they will just send the cupcakes anyway even tho I told them clearly no one was going to be in. They have now even blocked my girlfriend on Instagram for complaining about all this which is just incredulous. Will never use these guys again and would recommend any other bakery then this as they obviously have no care for the customer, just profit.

My husband ordered a cake for my birthday, it looked stunning but unfortunately the taste didn’t live up to the appearance.
I’m no cake expert but it didn’t seemed cooked through, it was dense and heavy not light and fluffy how you’d expect sponge to be.
Helen referred our complaint to the head baker who refuted our claim that the cake was under baked, I agree it is difficult to tell from a photo but why would we complain just because? The cake simply did not meet with our expectations.

I ordered a carrot cake online for a birthday. It came before 11am, as promised (one pays extra for this). The birthday message was very competently piped onto the cake using a good choice of red colour. Both the appearance and taste of the cake were excellent and drew many favourable comments. Super for a special occasion.

Great value for money. The cake looks and tastes amazing. Just like in the photos. The delivery was quick and the communication was great. If you want to impress with a great cake this is your shop.

I'm not usually one to post a lot of reviews, but this has pissed me off to the core!
I ordered this cake for Eid, was so excited as it looked stunning and I'd sampled a cake of theirs before and it was lovely!
This cake arrived looking very pretty, but that's all there was to it! The cake had a stale smell, was raw in the middle, had a terrible bread like texture and tasted AWFUL🤢! I complained and received the most blasé response, Helen (Customer Services Manager) even went as far as saying the cake looked identical to their image on their website and stated that this cake was fluffy, soft and moist! It most definitely was NOT😠 She even said the cake was not under baked, I mean, it's SO evident from the pictures this cake had a soggy bottom and was underdone!! They won't refund me and had the cheek to offer me 20% off my next order! Like seriously, you legit think I would place another order?? I responded to Helen's email and guess what, I've been ignored! @flavourtownbakery need to fix up and refund me! I'll be leaving reviews on Instagram/TripAdvisor etc...in the meantime Trustpilot fam avoid this bakery ✌🏽

Best cakes ever a bit pricy but you get what you pay for and they are on time and top quality highly recommended!
