Crumbs and Doilies Cupcakes Arvostelua 

All good with the cake, but a word of warning on the delivery - it may be worth collecting instead.

Unfortunately, the delivery experience fell well below expectations. I paid £24.99 for a guaranteed delivery by 1pm, but the cake didn’t arrive until 1:25pm, meaning the guaranteed delivery service I paid for wasn’t fulfilled.

More concerning was that I received no tracking information or communication whatsoever on the morning of the delivery. The office phone isn’t staffed at weekends, leaving me with no way of finding out where my cake was or whether it was even going to arrive. As this was for my 40th birthday party, on my actual birthday, it caused a great deal of unnecessary stress. 

After initially declining my request for a full refund on the delivery charge, Crumbs & Doilies eventually agreed.

My suggestion would be that, for a business supplying cakes for milestone occasions, there should be some form of weekend or out-of-hours customer support when guaranteed deliveries are involved. If something goes wrong, customers need a way to obtain reassurance rather than spending the morning wondering whether their celebration cake is going to arrive.

Sadly, despite the cake itself being good, the delivery experience means I wouldn’t order from Crumbs & Doilies again or recommend paying for their guaranteed delivery service.

Appalling service, I am extremely disappointed and will not be ordering anything from Crumbs and Doilies again. Ordered a birthday cake for my birthday party tonight and paid in full via website. I received text and email confirmations with delivery tracking links. Received a text and email reminder today with the tracking links. I have had my mobile on loud by my side all day with full signal and my data switched on. I continued to track the order and twenty minutes ago clicked on the tracking links to see that my delivery had been inexplicably cancelled with no information or explanation. No attempt had been made to contact me by Crumbs and Doilies or the third party courier they use for deliveries. Also no courier contact details provided. Called the only contact number available and received no answer and a recorded message informing me that the office was closed. Have emailed and tried to contact them via the website and left posts on all social media with no response. So, I have paid in full and have no birthday cake for my party tonight, no time to go to the store and no time to sort an alternative. There should be an out of office emergency contact number for weekend deliveries, for situations such as this. Appalling.

One word….. AMAZING and DELICIOUS! No other words can describe the cookies & cupcakes.The advisors at crumbs and doilies deliver THE best service, a big shout out to Johnnie, who helped me order a batch of 21 cookies for delivery.Johnnie was so helpful and an absolute pleasure to deal with.

Ordered 6 cookies online. What a taste sensation. Absolutely scrumptious. Cereal milk and birthday cake ones are a firm favourite. Highly recommended.

Luscious cupcakes! Picked up my first order from the Soho branch for Red Velvet cupcakes to say farewell and Thank you to my work colleagues. These went down a treat, tasty and moist, but I found the topping a tad too sweet and I have a sweet tooth, but the dozen where all gone pretty quickly😋
I found the staff helpful and I liked the quality control checking of my order when I got there and thank you for the Crumbs and Doilies bag as this came in handy to carry my leaving gifts. Thank you also to the young lady who took my call to give directions. Would defo recommend💯😋

Just the most delicious birthday cakes, and excellent value given their size. I've ordered from them before and the Ferrero Rocher cake was stunning, but they surpassed themselves with my latest purchase - the carrot cake. Everybody LOVED it. What's more, I made a massive mistake with the personalisation and they changed it for me free of charge. Highly recommend

Just received my mix of NY cookies today in the post. Only took one day to deliver which is great considering I live in the Highlands. All I can say about the cookies is WOW. The team at Crumbs and Doilies are absolute geniuses. Those were the most beautiful tasting cookies we have ever had. Will definitely be putting another order in soon. Would definitely recommend Crumbs and Doilies, cookies are just delicious especially when just out of oven.

Amazing little shop tucked away in Soho. People there were very polite and welcoming and the cakes were outstanding. Tasted great, looked great, and the box to take them away in made them look even better.

I recently ordered the new box of cookies from C&D and they are so delicious. Particularly the Bueno cookie. There was an issue with my delivery but Kirsty at C&D was incredibly helpful.
I've been a customer at their store and online for a few years now. They are always my go to bakery and the baking kits were a dream during the lockdowns! The team really go above and beyond to give their customers the best experience.
