Watch out when you buy a property managed by them. When you sell it you may be liable to paying them a fee - check the burdens. This sort of perpetual skimming off each sale, especially when the properties are bought by elderly people who may not understand is tantamount to a scam.

Unfortunaley we have 3 properties with First Port Scotland as the factor , they are the worst we have ever had to deal with , really struggle to get anything done and when they do it constantly bill you multiple times and there web site is useless

Robert Gilfillan was very helpful and sorted out my problem i had with being locked out my account (this keeps happening) and it allowed me to sort out my payments, cant recommend him enough for any issues or advice.

Robert Gilfillan was extremely helpful when I had an issue with the website (which is very poor in my opinion). He took my payment from me, let me go when it was 'hanging', and e-mailed me back to say it wasn't successful and offering to help me again. He re-set the access for me too in order that I could self-serve.

I am only give a 4 star due to the service provided by Robert G. He was very efficient and quick to offer a solution and also listen to me moan! In general I get very frustrated with this factor and do not feel we get the monies worth for what we are charged. Gardeners are useless, windows in the main stairwell have not been cleaned for months. Our boundry hedge is so high that apparently the gardeners can’t cut it due to H&S. So in all essence if I could get all the residents to agree to not using you I would! However I return to the main reason for the 4 rating and that was how Robert G dealt with me and my issues.

I Was really impressed with the service provided by Robert G . He was really understand the situation will come out strong sorting out some payment issues with my account and got it sorted very quickly.

First port's system isn't very good, despite informed them last year of our correct correspondence address, they failed to change it, and still sent invoices to the wrong address, and charged us court fees for their own mistakes.

However, Robert Gilfillan dealt with this issue swiftly this year, wavied the court fees, sent the correct invoices, amended correspondence addresses, and added personal touch. Thumbs up for Robert!

Discovered my mum is paying £2.5K per year for a tiny little flat on a complex that needs practically no maintenance. It’s a laughably large amount and the company is clearly ripping off older retired citizens.
