Formula One Autocentres - Maldon Arvostelua 

Good experience here. Booking online was very easy. I thought my back tyres needed changing. Turned out to be the front ones that needed changing. This was explained to me very clearly. Turned out that the front, driver side, inner and outer rods were not moving as much as they should have been too. This was discovered during tracking of all four tyres after changing the front ones. I left my vehicle with them to change the front two rods. Pricing was made clear before work done. Good job done. Only negative was that I sat around too long. Should have been told how long the rod changing would take. I should have asked too. Will be using this company again.

Took my car in for service on 27th June this year, they didn't tighten the sump plug after the oil change, car has leaked oil lately, took it in today to find that the sump plug was only holding on by 3 threads, if this had come out as I was driving it would have caused catastrophic damage to the engine.... not happy!

Since posting my original review, things have only got worse. I was told that an investigation would take place and that someone would contact me within 72 hours. Unsurprisingly, nobody did. Ironically, a company claiming to investigate customer complaints can't even keep its own promise to respond. The complete lack of communication speaks volumes about how Formula One Autocentres treats its customers.

At this stage, I don't want another apology or more excuses. All I asked for was reimbursement of the £7 I had to spend at Costa Coffee because of your mistake, so I wasn't left out of pocket. Even that has proved too much to ask.

Your silence has confirmed everything I needed to know about your customer service.

Had my a/c recharged earlier in the year. The car needed some work and the guys at Formula 1 helped my DIY efforts to sort it out. Just managed to get it all recharged and working - a big thank you to the team and especially the manager for giving the OK. Top team.

Had 4 new tyres fitted and wheel alignment done, super service lovely staff

We had our car serviced at F1 Formula Autocentres in Maldon and were very impressed. The service was carried out professionally and quickly, even on a Sunday, which was extremely convenient. A special mention to the lady on reception, who was very helpful, friendly, and genuinely customer-focused. Excellent experience overall.

Having found a nail in my tyre on my way to work, I arrived at the Maldon branch before opening time and asked whether the tyre could be fixed. The two extremely helpful members of staff who were outside and said did not normally work at the branch, opened the garage early and booked the car in. The car was fixed within ten minutes of the garage being opened. I was really impressed with the service I received. Thank you.

After booking online for puncture repair and getting a confirmation email confirming an appointment for the morning of the next day. I arrived at the reception desk to book in, only to be told they have no record of my appointment. I showed my conformation email to the gentleman behind the counter only to be told that F1 should of indicated on the email that I should ring garage for a time, this was not requested in the confirmation email. The earliest day for an appointment was 4 days later. At this point being a very disgruntled potential customer I requested a refund and duly left.
Not very good customer service due to bad organisation booking arrangements.

I've used F1 before as they had a branch near where I worked in a previous job. They've recently opened a new branch nearer home. Still the same great customer service and the tyres I needed cost 25% less than the nearest competitor. All done quickly and without any fuss 👍

Got a quote for new front pads , agreed with with price and dropped it off the following day.
When I went to pick it up and pay the invoice it had gone up by 25 pounds .
When I said that's more than I was quoted no explanation was given .
Which is shame as up till then everything was fine .
So for that reason I won't be going back .

Booked my car in for 2 Tyres to be fitted with front wheel tracking ,good price,booked online,called in early , great ,left the car with them for a couple of hours ,said give me a call when done .
Collected car via a lift , car was parked obviously done ,no call ? Drove out of Maldon to find new front tyre not inflated correctly so had to pull over to pump up myself ? Called garage , had one job , couldn't get that right ?
Since I've washed car 3 days later , have a dent in my wheel arch which wasn't there before where tyre was fitted ?
Can't prove anything but won't be going there again , seemed to be a casual , slightly stressed approach and my nice metal valve capps I bought were missing off the front ,replaced with plastic ? if you got a decent car you care about , I'd pay a bit more & stick to protyre up the road !

Have used them a few times now the staff here are all so polite and helpful, as a woman who knows nothing about cars I trust this place totally to be honest about what needs doing and do the job properly, work is always carried out well, the waiting area is comfortable and clean and can watch work being done, now Ive used them wouldnt go anywhere else and recommend them to everyone

The manager and fitter had trouble with removing my locking nut on my car on 18th July 2024 .they explained the situation to me .they .managed to remove it so they could replace the Brake linings,and on top of that they ordered 4 new wheel studs and the manager and fitter gave me a first class service .this is the second time I have used them in 3 weeks,I wouldn’t use any one else now .FIRST CLASS service highly recommend

I cant even begin to express my upset and how i feel about this company. My car was almost involved in a collision yesterday with my young children in the back due to the lack of care from this company. I will be contacting my solicitor with witness and the regional manager. I am utterly fuming.. the money ive waisted and the inconvience caused is not acceptable let alone the lives put in danger! DO NOT USE THIS GARAGE AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
