Formula One Autocentres - Ashford Arvostelua 

Placed puncture repair online for Saturday. Confirmation came through asking me to call to book appointment. Phoned and was told they haven’t got any appointments for Saturday. Agreed to have the repair done Sunday at 11. Turned up to a not very professional front desk worker blaming and thanking ‘Phil’ for booking it in on Sunday. Then told me Phil had booked the repair in on Saturday at 11 and he cannot do it today unless I leave the car with him for the rest of the day. It’s a 25 minute drive each way. I used to use the sittingbourne branch but since I’ve moved used these three times and haven’t been impressed at all. Won’t be using them again.

I have been very happy with F1 Autocentre Ashford and the team there. I've used their services for almost four years for several different cars, and the work has always been explained thoroughly. The cost has been reasonable, and they are easy to deal with. Cheers!

My partner had made an appointment for a tyre fitting at the Ashford Centre for 12:30 pm. He arrived on time for his scheduled appointment but was told that the assigned staff member had gone for lunch. We were asked to return at 1:30 pm, an hour later than our originally scheduled time.

I am very frustrated with the situation. Scheduling an appointment implies a commitment from both parties. While I understand that staff members are entitled to lunch breaks, it is the responsibility of the management to ensure that appointments are honored and customers are not inconvenienced.

I then spoke to the deputy manager at the local centre, Phillip, on the phone. He told me there was a staff shortage, but there was nothing he could do to rectify the situation. Essentially, I have been told that I simply need to accept the fact that my time is being wasted.

As a customer, I find this response unacceptable. It is not the customer's responsibility to bear the consequences of poor management and inadequate staffing.

I am also disturbed by the allegation made by Philipp in our conversation, as he claimed I was bullying him during our interaction.

The way you handled this situation reflects poorly on your management and service standards. I strongly suggest that you review your appointment scheduling procedures, ensure adequate staffing, and prioritize customer service to prevent such incidents in the future.

What an awful company had a slow puncture in my tire after hitting a bad pothole I have tire/ alloy insurance plane with ramp I reported the tire to them sent me accounts they have with a few garages to do repair or replacement for tire f1 being one of them used them before for cars so didn’t think I’d have any problem with them . Took car ion looked at it said I needed new tire i explained I have insurance with ramp they said they were new to using them wasn’t sure how it all works would order new tire get back to me about booking it in this was on 22/12/23 no phone call back from them as I knew they were busy and being just before Christmas I accepted this I called them myself the next day was told they couldn’t get hold of the insurance company to arrange replacement and had booked me in for Wednesday 27/12/23 providing they got in touch with insurance to authorise job said he would let me know what was going on I phoned them again on 27/12/23 to be told that they had issues with ramp not paying them for jobs so had cancelled contract with them and was waiting to hear back from them in regards to setting a contract with them 🤷🏻‍♀️was fed up at this point one minute they said they were new to using them the next they claimed they wasn’t using them anymore due to unpaid bills . Went to Halfords in the end who Iv used before with no problems got sorted In a day new tire paid for by ramp on day booked in . WONT USE F1 for anything for car again sure shoddy service

Great experience getting an MOT done, Phil the manager was very helpful and we discussed what was needed to be a pass. The tester Bill even squeezed me in before home time so it could all be finished today. Bill also explained in detail the situation so that I would have some new knowledge for the future, very understanding and helpful ☺️

Moved to Ashford only 3 years ago and brought car to F1 as we live nearby. What luck for us. Usually we’d have to try a few garages to find experts like these and these guys are the best mechanics I’ve ever had the pleasure of leaving my car with. Any problems are found and solved quickly. They care about cars and customers and it shows. Superb working area - actually looks like an F1 garage it’s so clean and has the best diagnostic equipment. Customer waiting room is a nice touch too, comfortable and quiet. And absolutely recommend them to anyone living in Ashford and beyond. I’ll remain a loyal customer as long as I’m driving.

My partner and I both use this garage. They are always happy to help and will do what they can to see you as soon as possible. I went in with a problem today and as usual within a couple of hours everything sorted! From my experience they are very fair on prices and they will not try and rip you off for extra work not needed. Always my first phone call if I need me car looking at. They also do my MOTs and services.

Shoddy workmanship, damaged car whilst on the premises, appalling customer service and really not a motor garage at all. Please avoid and go to a real garage.

Went in for 2 new tyres to be fitted by Chris, as he was taking my car both in and out of the workshop he could hear a screeching sound which I'd forewarned him about, it had been a problem on and off for about a week. He went out of his way, and for no extra cost, to get to the bottom of it and put it right for me. No parts needed, and Si the manager wavered the labour cost too. Good, honest and kind hearted service, will defo go back and use them again.

I broke my wing mirror on a journey to Le Shuttle. although they couldn't replace the mirror, they helped me tape it up so I could continue my journey in haste.

Excellent service from the staff at Ashford Kent formula1 autocentre could not do enough for us. Prompt attention on. Prices as quoted and car returned on time would recommend Philip Peters

Big shout out to Philip at the ashford formula one, he was amazing, really looked after me, as they were behind he called explained and let me drop my car off still and I said I'm happy yo leave it till the end of the day and just do it when there is time and he was so good about it and grateful it made a real difference

I had not completed my online order correctly so the transaction was not recorded at Ashford
Formula 1 branch. The Manager Philip told me not a problem and sorted it for me. I would have been well snookered as I have an mot the next day. He has been in the motor trade for over 40 years so can advice on a whole range of car related problems. Thank you Philip.

I discovered I needed new tyres for my vauxhall Astra and so I phoned a few tyre fitters and received the best service from Ashford F1 autocentre, whilst I was there I asked them if they could check my battery and it turned out that needed replacing so they ordered me 1 in and so I went back later and they fitted that in for me - will definitely go back there again and recommend them. Keep up the good work and service guys.
