Avoid this company guys …. Had card machine and been using a about a week haven’t had a no money going to the bank than contact with customer service and guy called Charlie suspostobe sorting the problem out and been ingored days wanted to make complaint it’s not going no where stay away guys poor service

I cancelled them in 2019 for breach of contract. It was hell trying to get them to agree they was breach of contract. I just got a welcome email 4 years later they have signed me back up with them even though i haven’t and would never agree too.

Do not bother. Appalling service .. card machine stops working regularly. I have had a number of terminals sent out to me. They are full of constant issues. Support line is useless and refuse to help on weekends instead advising to call up on Mondays. So if you run a business that operates on weekends I’d give this shoddy excuse for a company a hard pass. I have since disconnected the already faulty terminal and requested cancellation to be told my account will be closed in 30 days and it’s a billable period?!! The sheer audacity of this vile company. The terminal does NOT work and has been DISCONNECTED yet they have the cheek to tell me they’ll close my account in 30 days - in the meantime keep paying!!!!! Furious is an understatement. Honestly avoid this pathetic and shoddy company. £76 a month for a terminal that is SLOW and stops working constantly LAUGHABLE.

Edit - my review is verified I have proof of emails so your generic response is laughable. The fact you reported my review as not being a genuine experience !! Like I said I have all my emails saved & I forwarded them on to trust pilot. I will do the same on every other review platform.

I started taking card payments with a pay by link and it’s a nightmare to see where money is coming from as every transaction has its own reference number they create, but this becomes an admin nightmare because we have to cross-reference their ref with ours. They put the money into your account as a bulk payment each day from various people that have paid us but trying to mark then what clients have paid on these these bulk payments is so time consuming and can take us an extra 2 hours a day as we have to see what the deposits are for each person and the refs don’t match up on our bank accounts. Hence, it has to all be cross-referenced manually.

Why can’t they make it so that each transaction gets sent separately is beyond me because we pay per transaction. But if not that why can’t each bulk payment reference match to what was taken that day as it’s a flipping nightmare to check everything. The ref on my business bank statement is a meaningless ref and for accounting this is not helpfull at all.

Customer service is very poor also someone ask me to call me back didn’t contact me again people are not friendly

We keep having delays with money transferring to the bank which is causing us massive issues with bills not being paid on time, as well as stock not getting ordered. We were told it was due to the card machine itself not having the right time for automatic transfers so was passed to castle. They confirmed that, that is not the issue as transactions are sorted by 10.01pm the night before. This has happened on 2 occasions now, which may not seem a lot to a business with a massive amount of cash to play with, but a small business that relies on the cash flow it is damaging.

Terrible company. They have 3k of our money and have not paid out. There customer service is Terrible. My bank returned funds to them but now they deny that they have it. I will be taking them to court for this as its causing serious cashflow issues for our business. After looking into the company many people have had very similar issues AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!

We have never had a problem before, however, the agent that took my call was extremely knowledgeable and after talking me through what to press on the handset to get this back up and running was second to none. Extremely happy and satisfied that continue to use this company. World class service. Thank you for making it so easy for me today.

My dealings with Sally have been nothing but a joy. She addressed all my issues and definitely made me feel valued as a customer. Her advise and guidance was invaluable in this minefield! Cannot recommend the service EVO give enough.

It's never easy changing something as major as this, but after 20+ years with my previous processor I decided to see if I could save money elsewhere. Well, why did I wait so long? Not only was it lovely to actually speak to someone (Sally Ann - who was brilliant by the way) and the whole process was simplified beyond my wildest dreams. I now receive my funds the very next day (instead of waiting 3 days) and I have saved approximately £100 a month (taking unnecessary phone lines and numerous other charges into account)

Thanks for looking after me so well and hopefully for a long time to come.

I received a new terminal. Unable to speak to customer service as you are required to go through their service bot. I rang them several times and the reply I had was to say thanks how did we do. So not impressed. At the moment I’m losing custom as most people want to pay by card.

Absolutely horrific service. Won't and don't respond to requests. Don't call back and have left us with money going into the wrong bank account for weeks. Avoid at all costs

I have been impressed with the simplicity and ease with both my card machine and contract with EVO payments. My previous supplier with Payment sense initially seemed good but I was constantly being hit by unwanted hidden charges, and it was difficult as there was more than one company involved. EVO payments are great to deal with, very cheap rates, supply a great card machine, and don't trick you into unwanted charges. I haven't had one problem being with them the last 2 years or so and will continue with them. Whole heartedly recommend them

Support agent was thorough, helpful and even did a callback to make sure my problem had been resolved.

Wonderful Service been on contract from 2019 just renewed again for the third time all drivers got hand held machines very professional all customer can have recipe..... Only fools give their card details to a drivers mobile phone.... Thanks Dawn from EVO
