A very positive experience for me when buying a new Hyundai Insta from the Leicester branch. Imran was the salesman I dealt with and he couldn’t have been more helpful. A very good experience and a fabulous car.

Booking made on phone but was told no appointment had actually been made, despite me having a confirmation e mail. Car not washed and valeted on collection despite that being part of the service. For the price, very poor.

Amazing service, I had an issue with my 12v battery and my car was taken into the garage on the same day to be inspected, once checks were complete and it was highlighted a new battery was required it was handed quickly and after only having the vehicle for 1month the purchasing dealer covered the costs. I want the thank both dealerships for handling this situation so quickly and getting my car back on the road the next working day.

Bought a Corsa from this dealership in July from Tariq. Worse decision we ever made. Car was filthy when we collected it inside, not even a paper car mat supplied.
We paid £300 for paint protection, only to discover by a established detailing company, it was hardly done in some parts. Parts that were done need completely redoing. Full report sent to dealership and customer services with photos. Only heard once from them since. We are taking legal action now. NEVER buy a car from them; as this dealership is appalling. Yes, we have used Evan Halshaw, Bedford 2x, who were excellent

Shocking Service all around. Hyundai car in for service in May 2025 at the Leicester Branch. Missed key service recalls and atrocious service since. Having contacted Lithia (parent company), complaint logged and never received any response apart from the automated acknowledgement. Never again Evans Halshaw, shocking to say the least!!!

I made a complaint over a week ago regarding no contact from the Service Manager at Evans Halshaw, Hyundai Leicester despite being promised call backs on at least 5 occasions. Not to mention numerous WhatsApp messages and several emails of complaint. I was offered an email address to put forward my complaint but the email doesn't work.
When, WHEN is someone going to proactively respond to my complaint???
It is beyond a joke!!!

Evan Halshaw Leicester Branch let me down extremely badly , I was in touch with them regarding the PX of my car and the purchase of a car they were selling , we agreed on final costs and I agreed to travel to Leicester from Glasgow , over 300 miles , then to my horror i received a msg saying that the Leeds branch had sold the car , total lack of communication , it was agreed that the car was being put aside until I arrived to pick it up , I was absolutely raging mad and I will NEVER do any business with this lot again , total incompetence

AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS!!!!
Especially avoid the lady from service reception, who is very arrogant, and will not let you speak if you have some issues! Also, if you demand to speak with the manager, she will just ignore you, saying that she can answer your questions, even if she doesn't have a clue about what she's talking...

Now my story...
My car arrived in their Leicester garage, with Hyundai Assistance, due to a breakdown. They didn't want to take the car, so they've argued with the AA, because they had one incompetent lady at the service reception, who clearly didn't know Hyundai rules.
I've told them that i have some TPMS issues which i want to be investigated with the battery issue.
Aslo i've asked them to do the 5th year servicing and the MOT.
According to their papers, they've did the MOT before replacing my brakes, but they decided to call me and tell me that brakes need to be replaced because disks are rusted. Is kind of normal to have rusted disks on a car which was not used for a month, especially on EVs, which are known they are using regenerative braking. Also, they've used the cheapest crap on the market, instead of using original parts, and they didn't provided the removed parts, so they can be inspected by a 3rd party.
Also, they've requested money for 2 diagnostics, instead of 1. They've requested the money 1st time to inspect the battery issue, then again for checking TPMS issue, even if both were reported same time.
They've said that the battery needs to be replaced every 2 years, but last year when they've did 4th year service, they didn't replaced the battery.
They are also saying that i've requested them to replace the brakes, when clearly i was forced, by them, being told that car will fail MOT.
I had one loan car during the time my car was in garage, but i was told that i need to pay for replacement keys, because they didn't know where they've put the keys.

Called to book in with an Air Conditioning issue, as I had purchased their Premium Guarantee warranty, on arrival no space to park. They then diagnosed the condenser needed replacement at a cost of £1400+ all in, not covered under warranty. I quickly googled the price of part and declined the repair by them, but paid £156 diagnostics. I called a local garage who quoted £386 all in. I booked in for this to be carried out. At less than 2/3rds of dealers pricing.
On presenting to the local garage, they called to say there is no leaks or wear on the condenser, but pressure caps missing. Possibly why it’s not holding gas. They charged me £30! It’s working perfectly still now.
