The whole process of getting a service at Evans Halshaw was brilliant!

Overall I had a good experience, a couple of issues that needed looking at were explained and drop off and collection was easy.

Mot done on time and vehicle was washed as well.

Everytime I go to this dealership, whether to discuss purchasing a vehicle or have a service/ repair work done, I have some sort of issue, normally to do with extremely poor communication on their part then causing me massive inconvenience and stress. It has not been the same ever since they switched to Evans Halshaw and I won’t be returning for any services from them in future after my most recent poor experience.

Great service

Service staff polite, professional and efficient however overall experience let down by poor communication - request for call back not actioned and potential warranty issue raised at time of booking service likewise not actioned.

Great service. I had a problem which was quickly identified, the necessary parts were ordered and my car was returned to me the following day. Excellent communication and very efficient service throughout. I cannot recommend this branch highly enough.

I felt that there was something wrong with my car but I'm not an expert. Before I undertake a 400 round trip journey I needed reassurance.

Not happy as they charge hefty amounts. Not helpful at all. Hyundai reverse camera was faulty but didn’t tell the product number just so we pay 1000£ to them for camera change and can’t search camera prices by ourselves. Shame

I have no words! Evans Halshaw, Leicester!
My electric Kona broke down in early June. The AA got it started and advised to drop it at the local dealer.
We did that.
Here I am in August and the car has eventually been fixed. A new 12 volt battery that would have taken an hour tops.
No communication. No offer of a courtesy car. 2 months to replace a battery!
On top of that the car had been banged and scraped whilst in Evans Halshaw ‘care’
Avoid at all costs, I have never experienced such poor service and I dare say I will never experience it again!

When I booked our car in, I explained that we had issues with another dealership not being able to obtain the parts for the "optional security upgrade" (key upgrade) for our Ioniq 5. I was told over the phone that Evans Halshaw would be able to do it, so decided to book it in and travel to Leicester, which is a 1.5hrs round trip for both drop off and collection. When I arrived, I left both sets of keys to be upgraded. On returning to collect, I was told that the key upgrade could not be done as parts would need to be ordered. I expressed my frustration at the time that this was the primary reason for bringing the car in and was not really offered much of an apology.

I was then contacted a few days later to say that the parts were in. When I asked which parts, it turned out this was the parts for warranty work and did not include the parts for the key upgrade, which were on back order. I explained that I did not wish to bring the car in twice, given the time it takes. I was then left a message to call stating that the booking would be closed if I did not respond within a few days. When I called, I was again told the parts were in. Again when I asked which parts, it turned out that the parts for the key upgrade were still on back order.

I have since been in touch with Hyundai UK and they have told me there should be no issue obtaining the parts for the key upgrade. I was told they would speak to the dealership, but I've heard nothing since. So after several months I am still waiting for the security upgrade to be done and have not been given any indication from Evans Halshaw or Hyundai when this might be completed.

Unfortunately, this is the level of service we have come to expect from Hyundai dealerships. I was hoping that Evans Halshaw may provide a better experience than our previous dealership, but it seems that is not the case.

Tariq was very nice and spent the time to explain the car to us and how the sale would work. This was my first time shopping with HYUNDAI and would recommend them. Tariq made me feel comfortable and confident with my purchase.

Mr. Ihsan and Mr. Miguele were super helpful right from the very beginning. They guided me through all the documentation and paperwork step-by-step, making everything clear and easy to understand. They kept me updated the whole time until my very first car was delivered right to me.

I took my car to Evans Halshaw Leicester for a major service and paid over £1,000, expecting all the required work to be completed.
A few months later, the car began showing signs that something was wrong, so I took it to Vertu Hyundai Nottingham for an inspection. Their report indicated that several items included in a major service had not been carried out. The spark plugs had never been changed, the brake fluid was below the minimum level, the coolant was below the minimum level, and there were other issues that should have been addressed during the service.
I contacted Evans Halshaw Leicester, and they said they would investigate and get back to me. They never did, and I had to chase them repeatedly. When I finally received a response, I was given what I believe were excuses rather than a proper explanation, and they refused to take responsibility or offer any resolution.
I also contacted Hyundai UK, but I was informed that the service manager at Evans Halshaw Leicester maintained that all the work had been completed. Because a few months had passed since the service, they said there was nothing they could do.
I paid for a major service that, according to another Hyundai dealership's inspection, was not completed as advertised. The lack of accountability and poor customer service has been extremely disappointing. I would not recommend Evans Halshaw Leicester based on my experience.
