Hi Mark,

Thanks for the 4‑star review — really glad to hear you’re happy with the upgraded colour‑change filter.

I’ve checked the water hardness for your area and it comes up as moderately hard. In areas like this, the upgraded spotless filter will definitely improve the finish, but it won’t match the performance of a full DI vessel on its own. DI vessels simply hold far more resin and give the water much longer contact time, which is why they produce that absolute spotless result.

One thing that can also make a big difference is flow rate. If the tap is running at full pressure, the water passes through the resin too quickly to remove all the minerals. Slowing the flow down gives the resin time to work properly and noticeably improves the finish.

Using the upgraded filter with DI vessel water, as you mentioned, is the perfect combination for a guaranteed spotless result.

Thanks for your review. As you know, we’ve already spoken and arranged same‑day collection and delivery this week, and you’ve upgraded to the Poseidon model.

For transparency, the situation was made more complicated because the delivery address was changed several times while the original machine was already in transit. We covered all the additional redirection and handling costs our end to make sure you still received the unit. Multiple reroutes can unfortunately increase the risk of damage, which may explain the issues you experienced on return.

Despite that, we’ve still arranged a full swap and upgrade for you, and everything is now booked in to be completed on the same day.

If you feel the matter is now resolved, we’d really appreciate it if you could update or remove your review to reflect the outcome.

Regarding the issue you mentioned with the sprayer connector, we’ve had a look into this and the problem is almost certainly caused by chemical exposure and water conditions, rather than a fault with the unit itself. When strong chemicals or untreated hard water are left sitting in the connector, it can cause rusting or corrosion much faster than normal — especially if the parts aren’t rinsed through after use.

The sprayer itself has only been used a handful of times, so it definitely shouldn’t be failing under normal conditions. The pole and brush being in perfect condition also supports that the issue is isolated to the connector rather than the full setup.
