I wish I had seen these reviews before making a purchase. Got duped by a pinterest ad for a pair of shoes that were on "sale" for their "anniversary week" and "almost sold out" but the site has been claiming this for over a month. After waiting almost a month for the shoes to arrive (even though the site also claims "fast" shipping) they did not look nearly as nice as the pics on the site. After emailing about returning the shoes, I was informed I would be responsible for shipping to their warehouse in China (the cost of which is 1/2 the price of the shoes) and I would only get refunded once they are recieved. Nowhere on the site does it state return shipping is international. Please save yourself a headache and $$$!

This Company is deceptive in their marketing. This is a Chinese company. They have 2 ladies on their site as if they are the owners. Their clothing is nothing like the pictures. Stay away, don't waste your money. Its garbage clothing from china. I fell for it for not doing my research. Absolutely deceiving.

As so many have said, don’t buy from this company. Clothing is nothing like pictures, you must send to China any returns at an exorbitant amount of $$ well exceeding purchase price likely. So many other companies ARE return friendly at budget pricing clothing, this is not one of them. Negative zero stars!!!!

Let my experience serve as a WARNING!!!! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! It is a total rip off, not based in the U.S. I was sent a very cheap printed copy of an embroidered top (so it was intentionally supposed to look similar) When I complained, they offered 15% refund and I could keep the top. NO! They then came back with a 25% offer and me keep the top. NO! Again - learn from my mistake! They make their money from defrauding consumers $40 at a time.

Please note that the items look nothing like photos or descriptions online and the fabric is so cheap and itchy that I will most likely have to throw them away. I will not purchase from Ember and Kate again due to the quality of the product and this return process. The return was to be mailed back to China at a personal cost that would be more than items I purchased.

Although the only communication with Ember & Kate is through email...which made me concern at first. But then, Kate came through with flying colors and resolved my issue in lightning speed! Ember & Kate gave me back the faith in believing that issues can and do get resolved via email.

Experience ordering was good and there were plenty of messages as merchandise was in transit to let me know delays, etc.

One thing I wanted to note… is that the color green on actual dress I ordered was way different from picture online.

Loved the free shipping and the dress I ordered is exactly what I expected.

I ordered shoes. I checked the return policy before I ordered because shoes can be tough to fit. The policy states returns within 30 days no problem. Well they didn’t fit (they also looked so cheaply made unlike their picture). So I finally get the return slip (which was not in my package - which I had to request 5 times) I start to complete the return slip and find out these shoes have to be sent back to China!! What!!
The store shows a US address. The cost of shipping is almost the price of the shoes. What kind of scam is this. If their policy had return to China I never would have ordered. I spoke to American Express- because Ember & Kate said returns accepted they can get around this. Dirty Scam!!! Lesson learned. Go one more step when company says return accepted- find out where you return it. Shouldn’t have to do this but because of scum like these people. I would like to see Ember & Kate redeem themselves- let me send my shoes back to the United States. Quit be thieves. I work hard for my money. - how dare you swindle us.

It was easy to place order and the delivery was quick. The clothes were better than I expected

I would give this company zero stars if I could. The photo of the merchandise I ordered and what I received were at such far ends of the spectrum. The shirt I ordered was linen with an embroidered dragonfly design. What arrived in the mail was a cheap polyester with a very blurry, out-of-register print of dragonflies. When I contacted the company, they responded, "We'll give you a 15% off partial refund if you want to keep the item." And a full refund if I want to mail it back to China at my own cost. I wouldn't donate this piece of "fabric/clothing" to a charity bin. DO NOT BUY FROM EMBER & KATE!

The knit top is soft, no itching after hours.

Good quality product and the delivery time was less.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Shame on me for not doing more research on this SCAM company. Dress looked nothing like online pictures and was ill fitting and cheaply made. Tried to return only to receive resistance and ultimately instructions to return to China address that would cost over $200 for a cheap $65 dress that I wouldn’t even feel comfortable donating to charity. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS WEBSITE!

This stuff is all fake...the cofounder image is clearly a stock image, and you can reverse image search the product photos to find the real original designs that this company is stealing. It's typical cheap knockoff crap, it's going to be like the halloween costume version of whatever you see that you like.

This company uses false advertising. What you think you are paying for is not what you receive. I ordered an embroidered top and instead got a screen printed polyester top- definitely cheap. They do not have a seamless return policy either- they make the customer pay for the overseas return and have a 30 day time limit. Not a good experience.

I blouse I ordered was described and pictured as linen with embroidery on the Ember&Kate website. The item I received was neither linen nor embroidered but merely a flimsy material with a blurry print unlike what was pictured and described by the business.
Don’t waste your money!
