Hotel Edison Arvostelua 

Trip with friend and daughters 8.1.23 till 11.1.23 2 rooms already paid for presented vouchers. Both myself and daughter asked for credit card information when we arrived home we have both been charged £101 each !!! disgusting sent 3 emails and travel company too sent one in process of claiming back through credit card although been told they have rejected first letter now credit card company pursuing again so disappointed

Sono stata all'Hotel Edison dal 28/02/2023 al 07/03/2023. Hotel veramente a 2 passi da Times Square in posizione strategica. Devo dire che, leggendo certe recensioni negative, ero un po' preoccupata... ma onestamente ci siamo trovati benissimo. La camera (Queensize bedroom al 19^ piano) era molto bella, semplice, tenuta bene. Fornita di phon, asse da stiro e ferro da stiro. Il bagno piccolo ma tenuto bene con doccia bella grande. L'unica cosa, era molto freddo dentro il bagno. Gentilissima la persona alla reception quando siamo arrivati, mi pare si chiamasse Marisela o Maristela, un nome simile.
Quindi ottima esperienza di vacanza, sia per l'albergo che per la città!

This hotel is very dirty, the rooms are out dated and poor quality, dust, chipped paint, marked mirrors, old air-con unit

The WiFi stopped working for me and my partner multiple times which was very frustrating as we had no mobile data to use.

Staff don’t seem to be very helpful, we first arrived and checked in through the touch machines as there was a massive line for check in. They took 100 dollars from us then 2 days later 20 dollars came out of my account, we went to ask them why this was and they said because you should of paid 200 on arrival for the night fee (which includes and grab and go breakfast which we were not told about so we did not use) we then asked her if we could pay the remainder balance as my bank charges extra if I’m using my card out of the UK, she then took the remainder of the money: we checked out 2 days later and they said the bill was payed, 2 days later they’ve taken another 100 dollars out of my account for no reason and now we can not get hold of them

The only positive was the location, so if you can afford to go somewhere better definitely do!

We had 3 rooms, checked in early & returned to get our Keys after 3pm, one room was still unavailable & we were told to go to one of the other rooms until it was ready. Staff were very rude, (with the exception of a lady with long dark hair on reception) staff made you feel we should be grateful to them for letting us stay.
We were under the impression we had settled our bill at ‘check in’ but turns out our payment was only authorized at that point, we returned to reception the following day, as numerous payments had been taken from our cards. We were informed if we did pay in full, no more payments would be authorized……..WRONG, they continued to authorize payments for random amounts, the last one of which did not get removed from our accounts until 8 days after we returned home. Whist at reception that day, another guest was also complaining his card had had various random amounts taken, leaving him with little spending money.
Bed was comfortable, we had no water or coffee left in room, as the rest of our party had in their rooms.
Bathroom tile grout was covered in mildew & shower rose was hanging off of wall.

What a Brilliant Stay I had in the Edison Hotel at Times Square New York.Superb Rooms.Friendly Staff.Very Helpful.Especially Laura the Security Officer.Always there to help if you needed a question answered.Will probably go back next year again.

Just returned after spending 4 days at this hotel. Really good central location on Times Square, lobby has lovely 30’s inspired decor, reception slow and not very friendly. Rooms are very dated, poor decor, chips in paint and faux leather chair very flaky. Windows are drafty, let in all the noise from the street and had dirty blinds. Bathroom small, with bath enamel pealing, very little space to dry yourself. However beds and bedding clean and comfortable, cleaned daily with fresh towels. Concierge friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area and sorted tickets etc quickly. Security on entrance to lifts so felt safe and secure. I appreciate that you don’t spend much time in your rooms however after lovely reception decor, I was extremely disappointed with the room and would not stay at this hotel on my return.

Amazing hotel right in the heart of Times Square New York , my daughter and I stayed here in November 2019 and had planned to return in November 2020 , I have read other reviews of dated hotel , etc .. it well maybe dated , but the History of the Hotel and the staff were amazing , the location is fantastic and we quite honestly loved it , our room was comfortable and clean , and very spacious , if your travels take you to New York , I will highly recommend The Edison , it was a fantastic hotel right in the heart of New York s Times Square , we shall return one day Thank you 🙏 xx

Tenía reserva del 2 de mayo 2020 al 7 de mayo 2020, pero el hotel se encuentra cerrado debido al COVID-19.
No me contactaron ni me dan el reembolso de mi estadía. O al menos dejar mi estadía abierta para cuando se pueda viajar.

Stay 4 days at this bad hotel, durt and very bad level painting around would, doors and bathroom. Wall paper was fastened with smal spike, etc.

3 elevator was out off function, which give us up til 15 minute waiting time at 16 floor, well I can use the stair.

No value for money. And the staff was very arrogant when we try to complain!

No free wifi / come on year 2016, all other place have it.

It is a fantastic place, and close to time square, but really the owner or management take fun on customer - like it is a cash cow!

Never recommend this Hotel

Fantastica posizione a 100 metri da Times Square! L'ideale per girare NYC in lungo e in largo! Lo consiglio a tutti.

Naturalmente, come tutti gli hotel di NYC, le camere lasciano un pò a desiderare ma sicuramente è il numero uno per chi vuole vivere manatthan
