Very good technical help
Very good technical help, friendly and effective.
Delivery was good and arrived 2 days ahead of time.
DD1 simple Mk3 works well in a boat with it's manual humidity control and has a larger range of adjustment.
The Desiccant dehumidifier seems to work very well.
(Costs more to run if it's running continually)

Rude, abrasive & sarcastic customer support
I ordered a dehumidifer & at the same time emailed them to query the contradiction between their claim to care for the environment while also using environmentally damaging "AI" to populate their website.
The reply I received was so unpleasant and sarcastic that I immediately cancelled my order. They made the cancellation process difficult, claiming they couldn't cancel the delivery & I had to wait in to refuse delivery.
To add insult to this they then subtracted a charge for the return.
Over all this was a very poor experience. I don't expect rude, unpleasant & sarcastic replies from customer "support".
I won't be buying from Eco Air. Their products may be good but their support is appalling, and I'd strongly question their "commitment" to the environment.

We’d like to clarify that once an order has been collected from our warehouse and is in transit with the courier, we are unfortunately unable to cancel it directly, as the driver follows a pre-planned route. In these situations, the quickest and most effective option is to refuse delivery so that the item is automatically returned to us.
Regarding the return charge, this was applied only because the cancellation request was made after the unit had already been dispatched
Regarding your comment about AI, we only use simple AI tools to help manage product information and improve website efficiency.
We’re also sorry to hear that your interaction with our support team didn’t meet our usual standard of professionalism. This will be looked into internally.
At EcoAir, we truly value our customers and are committed to offering both quality products and responsible service.

Have only used the dehumidifier a couple of times but can see its as being a great asset for the winter months (laundry will not be adorning radiators or clothes horse any more!!)

This is the third EcoAir dehumidifier we have purchased not because there were any problems but because we are so impressed with both the company and their products. Ordering is easy, website information clear and helpful and delivery was fast and well informed re. day and time of delivery.

Reliable and underrated
I purchased a DC18 about 9 years ago and it is still working. Looked at replacing it for a newer more efficient model. Have tried two other brands. First one compressor made squeaking noises when it first started. Second brand was noisy due to vibration of the water tank when the compressor was running. Now looking at another ecoair due to the current ones reliability and large water tank.

Impressive customer support
Impressive customer support, My old dehumidifier stopped working, I figured out that one of motor seems faulty, but couldn’t find specific motor online, finally reached to customer support, Arron help me finding new motor and explained how to fix new motor in old dehumidifier. Bought several thermo-hygrometers
Bought several thermo-hygrometers. Temperature is accurate to within 1 degree C. But I've observed differences of up to 6% RH between the different units when they're sat right next to each other. This lack of accuracy is disappointing.

Our technical team has advised that the difference in humidity readings you’re seeing is likely due to normal sensor tolerances. Each unit’s humidity sensor has a range of around ±5% RH, and small differences in airflow or placement can also affect results. Even when devices are placed close together, tiny variations in temperature, air circulation, or exposure to nearby surfaces (walls, furniture, or windows) can cause slightly different humidity levels to be detected.
We understand this can be frustrating and truly appreciate you bringing it to our attention. Your feedback helps us continue improving our products.

It works well and cools the room effectively, but one thing that needs improvement is that the hose always gets disconnected from the air conditioner

The website is easy to use and pertinent information simple to find.
I was buying a dehumidifier for my son's flat so the box won't be opened until Thursday as it is his birthday present. The model was recommended by a friend who lived in Manchester - one of the dampest parts of the U.K. - and he has run his every day for several hours without any issues.

Ordering online was great but delivery info not really adequate.
The ordering process was fine, the detailed spec online was comprehensive and very much appreciated, but the delivery could have been better. All I could see online (I was out) all was an abbreviated name that meant nothing to me. The address delivered to was "residence" but it was not at my residence. It would have been better for me if there was a full name and the first line of the address.
