Good make
I've had this make before. Very good. This model was smaller than I expected. But still does the job. Bigger one's better. It has its own filter as well, where as the bigger ones don't. Keeps the room heated as well due to not having a refrigerated system.

Exactly as described
Having at last decided that a dehumidifier was required for the utility room in our old cottage, internet research pointed to Ecoair. The website was clear and full of information and the model we chose performs perfectly. Whereas there would often be condensation on top of the freezer, just a couple of hours on the economy setting is enough to dry it off.

DD1 Classic MK6 not good in quiet mode
Ordered a DD1 Classic MK6 for use in a bedroom overnight because on its lowest setting it is one of the quietest available.
Unfortunately in quiet mode it is supposed to keep humidity between 50-60% but this one operates between 57-60%.
That's too high and we still get a lot of condensation.
EcoAir suggested running it on higher setting before bed. This works but just delays the problem as the humidity levels increase within an hour or so of turning quiet mode on with wet windows the result.
Didn't use it straightaway and it's now just over a month since ordered so they won't take it back (and would only have refunded 50% as it is now used).
If you want one for bedroom use I'd advise picking a model e.g. Meaco DDL8 that runs on a low quiet setting but still tries to keep the humidity levels lower than this EcoAir model - or get some earplugs if you are stuck with this one.

On Economy (Quiet) Mode, the unit is designed to maintain humidity between 50–60% RH while running at low fan speed, and based on the 57–60% readings you reported, the unit is performing as intended. If you require the humidity to be kept at a lower level to help reduce condensation, the dehumidifier would need to operate in High Mode, which provides a stronger extraction rate, whilst running at a higher fan speed.
Regarding returns, our policy allows 14 days from the date of purchase to notify us that you wish to return the item, followed by another 14 days to send it back. A full refund is issued when the product is returned in its original condition with all packaging, accessories and manuals, while up to a 50% deduction may apply if anything is missing or if handling goes beyond what is necessary to inspect the product. We are always happy to arrange a refund when these conditions are met, and if you need further assistance with settings or room assessment, our support team is here to help.
Reliable and quiet humidifier.
The dehumidifier arrived first thing in the morning the day after I ordered it.
I already have the previous model so I know that it is reliable and quiet. It is compact and attractive and the carrying handle is very useful.

Great Dehumidifier
This seems to be a great dehumidifier. It arrived quickly, and seems very easy to maintain, empty water, etc. It is making a big difference to the area where I dry clothes. I am hoping it stops the mould re-appearing.

Warranty Service - EcoAir DD3 CLASSIC MK3
Bought the EcoAir DD3 CLASSIC MK3 11L/day Desiccant Dehumidifier through Amazon. Works really well on the landing of my 4-bed detached house. Developed an intermittent rattle after 18 months. Sent it for examination with 2 months left on the warranty. Now have it back after a thorough clean, a new part fitted, and it's working silently again. Whole experience with EcoAir was excellent.

Great piece of kit the Piccola
I have found that the bathroom and other rooms in the bungalow are free from condensation since using the Dehumidifier and seems to also keep area's warmer since the weather as got colder.

Second dehumidifier I’ve bought from the brand. I bought the first on Amazon, it broke, I sent it back to ecoair, and they fixed it. So I bought my second one direct from them. They are easy to communicate with and have a good warranty.

Basic machine is good
Basic machine is good, telephone staff were very helpful but set up for continuous drainage is a complete mess - the supplied hose is too short to be of use, too stiff to flex and comes off the spigot if you have to move the dehumidifier even slightly. Simple thing to get right and so botched.

Great price, perfect condition, very effective product
The dehumidifier was at a great low price due to being refurbished - as new. It was dispatched rapidly, delivered very promptly, and was in perfect condition when we unboxed it. It works perfectly. Overall we're really pleased with the service from EcoAir, we've already got another of their products and we would definitely buy directly from them again on future.
