Dyno-Rod - East London Arvostelua 

They came to put sealant around a bath, a simple job. Within two and a bit months a leak appeared, I had British Gas check they found the Dyno-Rod rod plumber had left the entire area around the tap with no sealant leading to a leak. I had tried to ring them to no avail. When i finally contacted them to return to fix their error, they said it was 90 days guarantee and I had been in touch on the last day so nothing they could do.

On 10th October 2025, a Home Care engineer ordered a new F and E tank from Dyno Rod on my behalf to replace the old tank which had leaked and had to be removed. He also booked an appointment for its installation. The date given was 7th November. Four weeks away. I queried this but to no avail. The absence of the tank meant I would have no central heating and, ultimately, no hot water either.
On the 7th November, a Dyno Rod engineer arrived, minus the tank. He knew nothing about a tank. So a tank was ordered with a proposed installation date of 14th November. On 14th November, I rang DR to check if the installation was on track but was told the tank hadn't arrived yet. I was given a new installation date of 19th November. Yesterday (19th Nov) I had a phone call to say the tank still hadn't arrived. The next supposed installation date is 25th Nov. So, in the first cold snap of the season, I'm left without heating and hot water. In fact, by then, I'll have had no hot water for over four weeks!
Fearing that F and E tanks were becoming an endangered species, I did an online search.
My question: Are F and E tanks in short supply?
Answer: "There is no general shortage of F and E tanks for domestic central heating systems. These components are readily available from manufacturers and suppliers." So what is the problem, Dyno Rod? Please explain.

He very quickly identified my issue then resolved my blockage with ease and great skill. Dean has been great comfort in my time of great need would definitely recommend. Engineer called 15 minutes before arriving to fit a new connector for a leaking toilet bowl. As it’s an old house with cast iron pipes he had to use an angle grinder. He was polite and conscientious and did a first class job. He showed me what he’d done and cleared up when he’d finished. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company. I’d score the engineer who did my job 10 out of 10.

Today one of your engineer Dean came to fix the blockage of our toilet and I would really happy how professional and friendly Dean was.He was very thorough and patient in delivering the works that needed to be done and at the end he fixed the problem. I would recommend Dean of DynoRod if you needed some help of blockage.

Liam came to fix the tap in my flat today, he called me 10 minutes before he arrived to let me know he is on his way, when he came in he asked what the problem was and told me immediately he will replace the tap and he did just that. Very professional and friendly. Thank you Liam.

We had someone out to attend to two leaking radiators and a leaky sink.

He changed the valves on the first radiator, which did stop the leaking although he got water everywhere on our wood floor. I would have gladly provided towels if he had asked for them.

He then decided we needed to repressurise the system (as so much water was lost during the work), so I showed him the boiler. Ten minutes later I checked and he left the valve on the boiler on the refill mode, which caused the pressure to rise up past 3. Luckily I noticed it and turned it off again, but really, they should be trained in how these things work if they are going to attempt them!

He then checked the second radiator and said it only needed tightening and nothing replaced. Unfortunately he was wrong and it has continued to leak since his visit - I have noticed no change at all.

He said he didn't have the parts for the sink (this is despite someone coming out the week prior to look at the problems, and note what parts were needed). He told us he would absolutely come back on Monday and finish the job.

He never showed up. I emailed twice and even called but could never get ahold of anyone. No replies to my emails. We still have the problems. Really unimpressed.

My appointment with Dyno Rod was booked through British Gas. They came out as arranged but it turned out that the problem I had was down to Thames Water. I had several conversations with Dyno Rod on the phone and at all times they were extremely, helpful, friendly and professional and kept me informed at all times as to what was happening.

Completely useless, haven't reponded to queries in over a week despite several emails and calls meaning I don't have running hot water in flat
