Dunelm Arvostelua 

The customer support for the online chat was very good but it took 45 minutes and all I needed was a return label. Unacceptable. Please take a leaf out of eg Amazon

I placed my order, which was due to arrive on Fri 21st Aug. I still have not received my order on 30th Aug.
I missed the first delivery which came on 24th Aug and rearranged it for 26th. No communication about the status of my order or when it will be delivered.
Very disappointed.

my parcel had been lost by Evri and Katie W. was extremely helpful in a speedy solution of sending out a replacement on express delivery. i am very thankful for the quick, efficient and helpful customer service, very impressive - thank you so much for your help!!

Really quick delivery, good product, good price. I've always had really good experiences when I've bought from Dunelm.

First and foremost, Dunelm is a fantastic retailer. What lets them down is their courier Evri. First order placed, Evri lost the order so I ended up having to reorder and do a click and collect to ensure I received the goods I wanted to buy. I placed another order and paid extra for next day delivery, again Evri didn’t deliver. I checked tracking the next day to say it was out for delivery and then a short time after the tracking stated that they would not be able to deliver as the delivery was requested to be returned to Dunelm!!?? And an hour after this update I received a delivery in a box that looked like it had been kicked around a football pitch for 90minutes. Fortunately the contents was ok. I’d rather pay extra for a better courier as Evri couldn’t organise a drink in a brewery.

Not great. Shop layout difficult to navigate. Couldn't find what I was looking for. Used to enjoy browsing, don't think they have the nice items they had previously.

The Manager and staff in the Exeter shop really needs some training. Their people skills and customer service is shockingly bad for a big company like that. They’re always rude and unhelpful when you’ve got a query or issue. Not a smile or nice approach in sight! Instead of trying to listen to their customers and at least trying to resolve issues, they should you down and refuse to help. I always end up leaving disappointed and annoyed. Even though I really like their products, they are definitely not getting my custom anymore.

Lovely bedding and duvet sets which were delivered on time.

the blinds are terrible quality. Black out works fine, but the finishing is very poor and the plastic mechanisms are very flimsy and the fixings are fragile. Do not waste £30/40 pounds on them.

Little wonder the high street is in decline. Went to the store this morning to be told what I wanted can be ordered in line and not to ask questions about it because they don't know. Not nearly enough staff on duty. At home I have spent 3 hours off and on, in the chat (140+in the queue) waiting, to be knocked off again and again. Pathetic customer service, their complaints dept. work Mon to Fri they'll be exhausted I expect. Finally the chat adviser told me to go to the store to enquire !

Impossible to talk to anyone about an online click and collect order. The store does not answer and central customer service states that they aim to answer in 1 hour.
Tracker shows that goods are ready to collect but we have had no communication to confirm this, hence no collection code.
I recommend you do not use Dunelm unless purchasing the item(s) direct from store when in stock.

Disgusting Delivery Service + Dunelme Uncontactable 🤬

The first part of a multi-order only ended up in my possession compliments of an honest neighbour. Dunelme make the extremely costly mistake to themselves by partnering suppliers who use those 3rd grade, ignorant, bone idle excuses for couriers to (maybe) deliver goods for which you have paid extra for delivery.

The customary email from the courier - InPost - arrived. It included a link to upload useful info for the delivery driver. I duly uploaded info which clearly explained that our building management do not allow parcels to be left in the publicly accessible porch, nor to be left inside at reception. It also included our notice that deliveries must be taken to their respective flat number (an easily accomished task which takes about 30 secs).

An email arrived later in the day advising that my Dunelme parcel had been delivered. It hadn't. At least, not to me.

Later, a kind neighbour alerted me to quickly retrieve a parcel which had been dumped on a chair in the outside porch - whereby vulnerable to theft.

Infuriatingly, my parcel had be plonked on a chair - DIRECTLY BELOW THE SIGN WHICH STATES NOT TO LEAVE PARCELS ANYWHERE AND TO DELIVER THEM TO THE ADDRESSEE's FLAT. (You couldn't make this level of ignorance up).

This is the level of service you get from InPost. Complaints were made but have thus far been all but ignored.

Then onto Dunelme - the seller.

Trying to contact Dunelme is an insulting waste of time. The best I've managed is getting onto their 'chat' waiting list - as at last try: 124th in their queue.

Dunelme suggest that you write to them regarding matters like this ... what century do Dunelme reside in ?

Consequently, once my latest order from Dunelme is completed (assuming no further delivery risks), my account with them is to be closed down because I'm done with these big companies and their associates taking the mickey. They're quick enough to grab your money then add delivery charges - but utterly pig-ignorant as far as quality of service and aftercare is concerned.

Low-grade bad couriers are the scourge of online commerce - they are progressively killing the industry with thousands of customers let down at the delivery stage and ditching the website from which they made their purchase. Dunelme is one such casualty among many nationwide.

Very disappointed and angry - will never use, nor recommend Dunelme again.

I was having problems ordering a divan base on line. I went to the Rochdale branch to hopefully resolve the problem. The assistant, Mohammed, was more than helpful and processed my order.

Easy to use website - found what I wanted quickly - ordered and it was delivered well packed in a couple of days. Excellent service and product.

Opening hours Sat 9am. I'm here at 9.10am and store not opened. No opening hours on premises. No answer or message on phone when i rang. I have not got the time to waste hanging about ... in case you do not open! Very disappointed.

Dunelm you are getting tarred with a crappie review because you use a rubbish unreliable delivery company for your orders....EVRI
Paid for a Saturday delivery ....Received two parts of a 4 part order (one DHL and one Inpost) the main bulk of the order you sent by Evri, which when I tracked this morning I found out that it wasn't now going to be delivered until Tuesday....if they can be bothered that is....
They are cheap for a reason that are unreliable....everyone knows this so why do you use them.....I won't be ordering anything else from you....

Well not exactly sure what happened but went from not being delivered until Tuesday...to getting delivered hours after posting this review.....Evri delivery driver told us wasn't on her delivery manifest for today...but here we have our delivered items we paid for to be delivered on time....just do the job you have been paid to deliver...
Probably because I left a negative review on the suppliers website.....

Great service. Samples supplied quickly & the ordering process & delivery was excellent.

Variety of goods on offer and ease of browsing then finding what I’m looking for. Resultant communications regarding my order are first class.
