I accidentally loaded R1500 into my old DSTV account. Despite multiple requests, I'm yet to receive a refund. Every time I call to follow up, the balance seems to decrease. Now they're saying I owe R900. Can you please help me resolve this?

The only reason this review is one star is because I cannot give zero.
The only reason anyone in South Africa has to put up with the incompetence of DSTV, is because there is no other alternative.
I received a payment link on nine October, which I followed and paid for. The amount was R573. I have now been told that my account has not been paid and has been cut off. When I click the payment link, the amount is now R799. This has happened several months in a row.
All attempts to completely delete accounts of DSTV have proved impossible. I hope in the future that there is an alternative way to consume sport and use that has nothing to do with multichoice or DSTV.

I seriously don't understand why don't they ask about your relationship with the person that you are trying to insure before they agree and take your money. They suppose to ask all the questions about relationships before. Multichoice insurance rejected my funeral policy claim because they said i **** and didn't stayed with the person and talked to the deceased "brother" which i doubt because one brother moved away before we even met him or his stepfather and the other brother is dead so i am not so sure about that. But this is also ridiculous because people take out claims of family that they only meet maybe once a year. But not they rejected me because of this ridiculous reason. What about my money i paid every month to them for this. Are they just gone take money from people and walk away??? After 6 months of waiting then they say no... this is something that i can't just leave like this because in the end of the day if i lived with the deceased or not WE are the ones that had the funeral for him OUR family not some "brother" that wasn't even at his funeral. It came from my mom's pockets and she arranged it. Not multichoice is giving me some ridiculous reason mxm

Dstv started charging me for Netflix. I told them I have Netflix and they must cancel it but they continue charging me R300. I have just canceled my Dstv because I'm sick and tired of them. I will also cancel my debit order but what are the chances they still charge me for Netflix????? I HATE THEM.
The new system sucks
The new system just isn’t working ! Having to download catchup is a disaster. It’s continually freezing. I can’t even get some episodes to play at all. Using your own data to watch something that you pay a hefty subscription for also irritates me.
Might as well go to a less frustrating full stream service.

The worst is that it is the most expensive streaming service in the country and they STILL SERVE YOU ADS before you can watch a show (Which you just paid for!). Shame on you.

Terrible customer service from DSTV!
DSTV Tel: 011 2892222 service desk has the absolute worst service. Spoke to someone called Siya, who refused to assist. Kept us holding on with their irritating jingle for 30 minutes in total. When you want to upgrade your package, you can simply follow the prompts and it is done. Try to downgrade your package however, you need to speak to someone like SIYA who will do everything in his power not to allow the downgrade. We asked several times to speak to a supervisor and after asking several times, he says that is manager is now in a meeting and we must call again in 30 minutes. For what? To go through the very same repeated jingle!

Dstv is showing live tennis chanel 214 the same march is live on channel 201, on channel 206 is a repeat of men's match with Ruud. Why is the live match of Sinner showing on channel 214 also showing on 201. Why are the woman's not showing on any channels as there are 4 live woman's match on now and are not showing on any of the channels 3 channel are showing men's matches match of sinners are shown on 214 and 201 at the same time it don't make sense this is discrimination to woman's matches. Dstv is using 2 channels to show the same match its ridiculous.

Horrid, rude, incompetent Zikhona whom I asked via DSTV's whatsapp line how much additional data cost with 2?? on the enquiry. BEFORE I COULD DECIDE WHETHER TO TOP UP DATA OR NOT SHE HAD ACTUALLY TOPPED ME UP WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. WHEN I ASKED HER TO REVERSE THE TOP UP SHE COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE RUDE AND OBNOXIOUS IF SHE HAD TRIED. WAY TOO MUCH AGRIVATION FOR ME TO BE PAYING FOR. COMES END OF THIS CONTRACT, COMES END OF MY OVER 30 YEAR DEALINGS WITH MULTICHOICE. THEY HAVE GONE FROM BAD TO WORSE AND I TRULY CANT BE BOTHERED ANYMORE. JUST LIKE THEIR SERVICE.
