DS Colour Labs Arvostelua

Very fast service, good communication and good quality prints

Excellent fast and not expensive service…5*

I had many queries and dscl answered them all before ordering. I was able to therefore make an informed decision about when to send my film to be developed. When I did send in the film the process time and delivery were as stated and a good job done with them. The cost of printing 35mmfilm is a lot now so it was good to know it was in good hands.

Very fast turnaround and really high quality prints at an excellent price point

I've always used cheap photo printing sites before but decided to try out DS Colour Labs for printing a couple of bigger photos and the difference in quality is night and day. Their printing brings the images to life in a totally different way, it sounds silly but it really makes you feel like you're there again. I can't recommend DS Colour Labs highly enough. If you're taking photos on a decent camera then you really need to get your images printed properly to do them justice and this is 100% the place to go.

Wao. Very good service, good quality prints, prices are very reasonable.

Brilliant service Photo is really good quality for such a large print So happy I would not hesitate to use this company again

Easy to order, speedy return and good communication at each step of the process

Fast turnaround and excellent results. Considering the size of the prints and that two of them were shot on a mobile phone, I'm amazed at the quality of prints that DS provided. The user experience for ordering was really simple as well, so I'm impressed enough that I will definitely be using them again.

I expected average, and was delivered awesome!
Affordable and realistic, and great service!

I got 3 prints done to be framed as a Birthday gift,
The website is easy to use and the service is impeccable! I went for the below sizes and type:
7x5 Permajet Museum Heritage 310 Fill to Print (1)
A4 Hahnemühle German Etching 310gsm Fill to Print (2)

Both came out amazingly! Flawless finish, framed beautifully and came packaged with the proper acid free paper so you know the quality is right and the staff know what they are doing!

I did shop around before ordering from DS colour Labs and the value for money here is a real selling point!

I ordered later than i should have and needed to meet my deadline, I emailed the Staff and they were very quick to respond and assured me the prints would be processed and sent that day, they arrived the next day!!

Will be back for all printing in future where i need this quality, value for money and service!

Speedy and safe delivery of prints at a reasonable price

Such a fast delivery, and beautiful clear photos!

Very good service, I forgot to put my order number in the package but I’d tracked postage, they managed to track my package down and from there was pretty much within timeframe expected.

I was so pleased with the service from this company, easy to order fast delivery and top quality blown up picture I ordered in the glossy finish. I will definitely recommend and will be using again.

I've been using DSCL for many years now. I've always found them competitively priced, fast and high quality.
I feel I need to address one of the most common reasons for negative reviews - dark prints.
I feel this is often unfair criticism as it is usually due to a lack of understanding of the realities of prints. Unless you are an advanced photographer who understands the importance of using calibrated monitors and soft-proofing, most people use uncalibrated screens which are overly bright and saturated. Also prints are reliant on reflected light rather than being illuminated on a screen. The paper that the print is using also has an impact, and can never be as bright as a screen image and have a reduced dynamic range of colours especially in the shadows. To get a print to match as closely as possible to a screen image it is necessary to soft-proof an image using the paper profiles DSCL provide free, and to adjust your image using soft-proofing tools in your image editor. But a quick and simple hack if you don't have access to soft-proofing tools, try adding a global exposure/brightness of +0.5 to +1 EV to the image you want to print depending how important highlights or shadows are to your image. If shadow detail is important use the higher value. It's worth doing a couple of different images with different adjustments to see which most closely meet your expectations and use that for future prints. This is obviously just a rough hack for those using uncalibrated screens.

I have been using DSCL for many years and have always been happy with the quality and service

Great price, very quick and great enlargement. Highly recommend

They processed the film and returned the slides within a week.
