Car hired a week in advance. No car available on the day.
I hired a car for one week to pick up at Glasgow Airport. This was done a week in advance. The day prior to pick up, I was sent a text message to sign in for my car hire.
On arrival at the airport, my instructions were to call the company and be picked up to go to the hire centre.
I called and was informed that unfortunately they had no cars available for hire.
They told me that this was due to a problem with their computer system which had overbooked the cars.
Their website was still showing cars available for immediate pick up.
The company representative was very apologetic but said there was nothing he could do.
I will never use this company again.

Restricted shuttle return
Do NOT use this company if you are returning after 7.30pm as the shuttle back to the airport stops. This will leave you stranded and Uber are not keen to collect for a such a short distance.
No recognition that this is not safe or fit for purpose especially for a lone female traveller. Bookings should not be taken where there is no return shuttle.

Dependable service at a reasonable price
We booked a small car with Drivalia for a road trip to Oban for Hogmanay from Glasgow airport. It was the first time we used this service, and it stood out because it was 25% cheaper than the mainstream competitors.
We called when we landed and were picked up by Robbie in a warm shuttle bus a few minutes later. It was a quick 10-minute drive to the office, and we avoided all the queues at the airport. In 20 minutes, we were in a clean MG and on our way to Oban.
There was no fuss during the hiring process, and the drop-off was equally stress-free. Robbie provided shuttle service back to the airport on the return journey a week later.
We would be happy to use Drivalia again.

Rented us a dangerous vehicle
Rented us a dangerous vehicle. A previous renter had repaired a tyre with sealant. We only discovered this when the tyre started leaking and found there was no sealant in the car. Our insurance paid for a new tyre, fortunately, but the Glasgow Airport branch were appalling. They refused to believe it had happened, repeatedly refused to even reply to emails and phone calls.
The matter is being referred to Police Scotland in the hope that Drivalia will put proper safety checks in place.
The car was also very old, and very banged up. It refused to connect to multiple charging points.
Other branches have better service. Avoid this one like the plague.
UPDATE: Re your response, contacting Drivalia was the first thing I did. I did raise an issue as you describe, and that was the first time I was essentially called a liar.
