Very easy to book. On arrival at the Edinburgh Airport site, staff were super helpful. Very quick in arranging paperwork and receiving vehicle. Upon dropping off dealt with Stuart who was super friendly and professional. Was impressed from start to finish and will reuse again

We rented a car from Drivalia at Edinburgh Airport, and had a great experience. Not only did they rent us a much newer car than ordered, so that the kids could sit higher and look outside the windows better, but they also gave us a discount on the insurance, even without us asking for one. Very professional and friendly staff :) We will most surely use them in the future!

We rented a car to take a trip to the Highlands. I rented cars before, but I never had such a nice service as this one. The empathy and the excellence that the team has shown was really outstanding. If you get Marshall to attend you, you will be in great hands 🙌🏻

There never seem to be enough people at the desk and takes a long time to get through the process. The staff are good otherwise but not enough (Edinburgh AirPort).

I received excellent advice. My account manager, Stuart, was very knowledgeable and friendly. He put together the perfect package for me. I would choose this rental service again in a heartbeat!

The check-in process to collect the car was somewhat disappointing. I waited around 40 minutes while one member of staff was on their lunch break, and no other staff were available to help. Once i was served, the pickup itself was quick and straightforward.
However, about 10 minutes into the journey, the tyre pressure warning light came on. At the next service station, i checked the tyres and found the pressures were well above the manufacturer's recommended levels.
The return process, on the other hand, was excellent. It was quick and efficient, and Stuart was particularly helpful in making sure I didn't miss the airport shuttle bus.

Overall, my experience with Drivalia was mixed. Their location is about 15 minutes from the airport, the service can be hit or miss, but their prices are very competitive.

Overall, our experience was positive, but the return process was disappointing.

When we returned the car at the end of our journey, the employee who assisted us was rude and unprofessional. While inspecting a minor mark on the exterior of the vehicle, he questioned whether it had already been present or had been caused during our rental. It was subsequently confirmed that the damage had already existed before we collected the car. Despite this, his attitude toward us was unpleasant and inappropriate.

Moreover, although the airport shuttle had already been called, he sent it away, forcing us to wait for the next one and putting us at risk of missing our flight. Since the rental company already had our credit card details on file, there was no reason to keep us at the rental station while the matter was being clarified.

On a positive note, the car itself was clean, comfortable, and in excellent condition. In addition, the employee who assisted us when we collected the vehicle at the beginning of our trip was courteous, professional, and very helpful.

A few weeks ago, I rented a car from Drivalia, and all in all, it was a wonderful experience. On the day we arrived, the office was very busy, but the staff was very proactive and took care of everything effectively. I would definitely suggest Drivalia if you ever need to rent a car from Edinburgh airport, both for the cost and the quality of their customer support. Scott in particular made this experience fantastic with his kindness and positive attitude.

Just an awful experience and service at their shed, miles from Edinburgh airport. I wrote to EasyJet, whom I booked and paid for this service, and hold EasyJet responsible. Here's my letter to the CEO of Easyjet. I have had no response. For the attention of the Chief Executive Officer, easyJet

Dear Sir,

I am writing to raise a formal complaint regarding a recent booking made through easyJet, which included car hire via your CarTrawler partnership. The conduct of the allocated provider, Dawalia, fell far below the standards that easyJet sets out in its own Customer Charter and resulted in both financial loss and significant inconvenience.

Upon arrival in Edinburgh, I discovered that Dawalia operates miles from the airport. When I eventually reached their premises, I was met with unprofessional behaviour and a list of unreasonable and unprecedented demands, including the requirement to produce my driving licence, which I showed, and a passport, which I had, and then —astonishingly—a utility bill or bank statement. These conditions are entirely outside normal industry practice and were not disclosed at the point of booking.

As a result, the booking could not proceed. I was then forced to take an Uber to Dunfermline at a cost of £40.

easyJet’s Customer Charter commits to:

Working only with trusted partners,

Providing clear, accurate information at the time of booking, and

Putting things right when service falls short.

In this case, none of these commitments were upheld. I booked through easyJet in good faith, relying on your platform to provide reputable partners and transparent requirements. Instead, I was placed in a situation that was avoidable, unreasonable, and directly caused by the partner selected through your system.

Accordingly, I request the following under the commitments of the easyJet Customer Charter:

A full refund of the car hire payment.

Reimbursement of the £40 Uber fare incurred as a direct consequence of the failed booking.

A review of Dawalia’s continued presence on your platform, given their conduct and the reputational risk they pose to easyJet.

I expect this matter to be handled promptly and at an appropriate senior level, in line with the standards easyJet publicly commits to uphold.

Shuttle took forever. Car was given on a totally empty tank. Nothing good to say

Stewart was very friendly and accommodating, he explained everything so we understood well and we didn't feel as though we were being scammed for money at any time. He gave us some useful tips also. Thanks guys!

Booked it yesterday, came in today and was very relieved with how quick and easy the service with Don was. Thanks for the advice and help!
