Drivalia UK - BRISTOL AIRPORT Arvostelua 

Achtung: Trotz gegenteiliger Aussage auf der Hompage existiert KEIN SHUTTLE zum Flughafen. Lapidare Antwort: zu Fuß 10 Minuten. Zum Glück war noch EIN Trolley im Angebot.
Da dies die zweite negative Erfahrung mit diesem Unternehmen ist werde ich in Zukunft von einer Buchung Abstand nehmen.

System for dropping off the key at Bristol airport was terrible. Car park was in complete darkness, not a single light in operation. When the drop box system wasn’t working (after it reinstalled itself) there was no answer from the help buzzer and no out of hours number to call. As a female on her own at 3am this whole process was incredibly unsettling. This combined with the over priced insurance they insisted had to be taken out if you don’t have a credit card. I will not be using this company again.

Amir was the person who dealt with us on arriving to pick up our car. Despite hot weather, and a customer in front of us, he was welcoming, warm, and assured us he would be with us shortly.

He looked after us in a cheery manner and made the experience of getting our car (which was fine in every way) a pleasure.

Amir at the Bristol airport drivalia took the time to help me connect my phone to the hire car as that's normally something I struggle with when getting a hire car. Thanks Amir!

Simple and easy collection of our vehicle. The staff member, Bo-Daisy, was extremely helpful and courteous.

Hemos tenido muy buena experiencia con esta empresa. Nos dieron un coche nuevo de forma rápida y profesional. Amir nos explicò todo muy bien y muy amablemente. En la devoluciòn Milagros fue encantadora atendiéndonos siempre con una sonrisa a pesar del calor tan horrible que hacía.

When we returned our hire car we found Amir at Bristol very friendly and helpful.

Easy walk from the airport and a quick pick up process. Amir was very helpful.

Company still running the old-style pressure tactics to take their insurance despite me having already bought full insurance with my booking, simply because I did not book directly with them.
Either I pay up thousands of pounds in a deposit, or take out their insurance for 'just' £170 for 4 days hire.
Absolutely not worth the stress and will be back with the more traditional hire companies where the price you book is the price you pay.

update: Eventually got a refund - so i've given an extra * - personally i believe thats due to trust pilot not drivalia. But at least it prompted a (favoiurable) response.booked through easyjet. Drivalia overcharged me for excess mileage by 100 miles approx £30. They recognise its their mistake and said they've submitted my refund request. Over a month later - nothing. I can't re-log or chase just going round in internet circles. I can't work out if they are incompetent or charlatans, making it almost impossible to get a refund. AVOID DRIVALIA AND BOOKING ANY CAR HIRE THROUGH EASY JET (they've been next to useless too)

I arrived in Bristol airport having somehow booked Drivalia car for the wrong date! It was a bank holiday but, no problem, Gill was great and sorted it all out quickly and efficiently. I use Drivalia often this year and have had a good experience with them in Gatwick and Bristol.

Habíamos contratado el seguro a todo riesgo sin franquicia y con asistencia en carretera con Drivalia en su oficina del aeropuerto de Bristol, incluidas las ruedas. A la altura de Newcastle Emlyn en Gales una rueda se reventó. Llamamos al seguro a las 10pm, nos dijeron que nos llamarían de la empresa de asistencia en carretera, está empresa nos dijo que en una hora vendría una grúa a arreglar el coche o en su caso a moverlo y a llevarnos al hotel. No apareció nadie y tras más de 50 llamadas a Drivalia y a la otra compañía, Drivalia reconoció que no vendría nadie. Esto sucedió a las 3 am. Nos prometieron un taxi que tampoco llego y nadie volvió a llamarnos. Llamamos infinidad de veces y ya no hubo respuesta. Las compañías de taxi de la zona, a las que también llamamos, no estaban disponibles a esa hora. Finalmente a las 7 de la mañana, tras pasar la noche en el coche con menores, una señora que vivía en una casa cercana se ofreció a llevarnos a casa. Drivalia no nos contacto hasta pasadas las 10 de la mañana y el equipo de asistencia no lo hizo hasta pasadas las dos de la tarde. No contratéis con Drivalia y desde luego no os fiéis de su seguro. ¡¡Una absoluta estafa!!

Great customer service from Gill and his assistant at Bristol Drivalia. Really helpful and pleasant. Helped to set the car up and made sure everything was working as it should be. Convenient to the airport terminal with a 10 minute walk. Great weekend in Bristol. Will be back again in the future.

I decided to use this hire company because the advert showed that it was cheap for a Fiat 500 on arriving the Fiat 500 wasn't available and they upgraded me to the next level which was a Corsa for the same price which was fair enough when I wanted to extend my higher period bearing in mind I already had the car and the price was agreed they then decided to up the price from 70 seven pound for seven days to 87 pound for four more days then when I decided that I had to extend it one more day they don't want to further 120 pound be careful of this if you hire a vehicle and you decide that you want to extend it you will get shafted

Finding the car hire location at Bristol airport was a little tricky but once there, I found Gill to be extremely pleasant and helpful. Especially when reviewing the unlimited mileage option, he googled some distances for me to help me with an informed decision. Dropped the car back to Liverpool airport, and the staff there were equally friendly and efficient. All in all a positive engagement.

I rented a car for 5 days with Drivalia and arrived late due to flooding. They refused to provide me with the car and tried charging additional £100 for “un upgrade” then ended up selling the car to another person. Since it was late I had to pay for a taxi, stay in a hotel and get another rental the following day. I’ve been trying to get a refund for months and their customer service is awful. I’ve given up now as it’s a small price to pay to avoid scams like this in the future. Avoid at all costs.

Wow!! I use car hire companies quite a lot at Bristol airport but this was the first time using Drivilia. And I’ll definitely be using them again. Gill was so very kind and sorted me out a great car - thank you.
