Drivalia UK - ABERDEEN AIRPORT Arvostelua 

Does not even deserve one star. Made a booking but did not have a car available when I came to collect the car. They did not inform me or cancelled the booking.
Staff did not take any effort to find a solution

Shocking attitude of security staff at X ray area. Rude and abrasive

Excellent service and resolution by Imad , he was excellent and very helpful, I picked up the car in the Aberdeen airport and he quickly delivered a first class car and the service was perfect!!! Great experience!!

Disappointing experience. Despite paying for zero excess, we were charged £32/day extra just for using a debit card — money we won’t get back. The “like for like” fuel policy was unfair too: car started with under half a tank, making it hard to judge refuelling, and we ended up returning it with far more fuel than we received. On top of that, our 10 a.m. booking wasn’t honoured as no cars were available; we didn’t leave until almost 11. Staff were kind, but overall the policies felt misleading and I won’t rent here again

Just finished another trip to Scotland from Australia. We have used Drivalia Newbridge, on all our trips including one family trip with 3 cars. Thank you Scott from the Newbridge branch for all your help on every trip. We highly recommend Drivalia for their competitive costs and great cars and Scott for his great service. See you again next year.

Car not ready on time, dirty , 2000 miles overdue a service and with high pressure to buy extra insurance that I’d already bought

Si vous voyez Drivalia Ecosse: FUYEZ!!!
On nous a imposé une voiture de location d’une gamme bien supérieure à celle que nous avions réservée. Un supplément de 45 Livres Sterling par jour !! Hors taxes !!
La raison est que nous avions une heure de retard et que la voiture que nous avions réservé n’était plus là !!
Nous étions à l’heure mais que nous avons du attendre ¾ d’heure au parking de l’aéroport et une bonne ½ heure à votre bureau car il y avait beaucoup de monde.
Nous les avons appelé de l’aéroport mais malgré plusieurs appels, personne n’a jamais répondu !
Nous étions très mécontent et la jeune fille au comptoir nous a même dit que si nous étions pas content nous pouvions aller voir ailleurs !!
Ce genre de comportement est très proche de l’escroquerie !! Cette personne nous a facturé 450 Livres Sterling en plus !!! Hors taxes.
Nous étions pris en otage !!!! Pas de solutions !!! Il faut payer !!

Great customer service by MO in Aberdeen branch

When I should pick on my rental car, I was informed I was more than i 60 min late from the first pick up time. 0835 hrs, even I had try to call the office before at 0926 hrs. with no reply. When I came into the shuttel buss from the airport I was wainting there for app. 20 minuts before the driver drove to the tental place. Here I was waiting app. 45-60 min. for my turn. When it was my turn I was informed that I was late and I now had to pay an additinal 216 £ as I had to make a late change in my rental agreement ? I find this very bad service - this is a way to cheat people so I have to pay almost double up for my car rental. I have rented cars all over the world during my life and I have never had soch a bad service like this. The "upgrade" I got is an old car that have 60000 miles on the meter - and many dents etc.. I find this service unaccetable. I can only recommed everyone not to use Drivalia

I tryed to log on to manage your booking - I can see this is not working as I have used my chance to come woit a complain.

So I can only recommend people to stay away from your company as you are not a honnest company. I tried to call the office before the 60 min expire to pick up my rental - but no answer from Drvalia.

So will you give me back my money or not ?

So I can now see it is impossible to get in contact with the company . even when they ask for more information. Can onky say stay away from Drivalia UK - ABERDEEN AIRPORT they don't know what service is....

It is with out any doubt the worst compny to use for car rental.

They don't care about you as a costumoer - so one advice stay away from Drivalia UK, with out any doubt the worst company to do buisness with !

I was travelling with my family, my husband and 10 year old and 3 year old daughter when our flight to Aberdeen got diverted to Edinburgh. Our original pick up time was 3pm and I immediately informed them that we cannot be there at 3pm as we got diverted. Imad was immediately very understanding and helpful. He even waited after their opening hours just to wait for us, which is a very great deal for us as we are travelling with children. He is very nice and accommodating. I would recommend to book Drivalia directly as 3rd party booking is not as considerate as them. Also if you are getting full insurance, get it directly at the airport pick up as they offer a better deal than online.

Mo (Muhammed Saleem) delivered outstanding customer service—prompt, professional, and efficient. I would highly recommend this company and feel privileged to have been his customer.

It took about 1hr to get the car from the original booking time although I was the only customer on site.

There were numerous computer issues, couldn’t pay directly by card as the terminal was not responding, so this was done through links to my email which is not what I expected. I had to show my phones screen to prove the payments were done. Overall felt very disorganised compared to the likes of Entreprise Alamo etc that you can find closer to the airport.

When I returned the car (9am on a Saturday) there was no one there although the branch is said to be open.

Efficient, friendly. Flexible. I arrived early and they managed to get me a car quickly and without fuss.

The check in process was quick and efficient with good customer service focus.

Recommended.

I had to make a last minute trip to Scotland from the US for a family emergency. I booked a car through a third party and didn't pay much attention to who the vendor was.

I was in a rush to get to the hospital after landing, but the Drivalia experience was a nightmare. They were quite a walk from the airport and located in a little hut. Their systems kept going down. The person in front of me couldn't pay using his credit card for no discernable reason (after ~20 minutes it magically worked). The other couple in front of me didn't have the excessive funds (something like £3000) required for "insurance" available on the husband's credit card and they wouldn't take the wife's card. I was there for close to an hour without moving even though there were only 2 other people there.

Eventually, I just left and contacted the third party to cancel my booking. I walked into Budget at the airport and had a car within 5 minutes. The hold on my card for damage? £100.

After much reading about Drivalia it seems like their entire MO is to charge a huge insurance deposit and then make up damages to retain as much of the deposit as possible. I am so glad I walked out. Lesson learned.
