After over 8 years of good service we will never use them again
We picked up the car in Aberdeen and refused all the additional insurances as we have an insurance for the excess. The gentleman was very helpful - we thought - but when we left the office I realised that we had been charged almost £140 extra for the hire. I queried this right away (apparently to the wrong department) but received no response.
On returning the car I complained again and was told the charge was for "comfort insurance!!". Never heard of it and never requested it!!
I have complained to the Aberdeen office again and was told that the Manager would phone us. Still waiting 2 weeks later.
Customer service said that legally we have no comeback and it's our word against the employees. In other words we must be lying!!!
Terrible way to treat regular customers.
We have been renting from drivalia (formerly Easirent) for over 8 years and have always been happy with them.
On this occasion we were "tricked" into signing for the additional charges.
We have stopped the payment but it's still under investigation. I sent an email to one of the directors of the company but they have not replied either.

What lovely service
What lovely service. Ben is a charming man and very good with people. The customer before is was elderly and was finding it hard to understand the concept of the card deposit. Ben was very patient and explained in many different ways. Ben was also fast and we had a nice chat.

Cheap Carhire bad experience
Car was good, better car than we booked. Service friendly and acceptable but T&C and damage reports are all created to make up for the cheaper car rental charge. Even though we paid for £0 excess insurance policy, we, and all other customers there at the same time, were told this did NOT cover all damage. If you pay Drivalia an extra €79 you can…
On return of the car extra chips in the windscreen, not created by us during our short 1 day trip were miraculously found and charged at £60 each + £75 admin fees. We could not prove they were already there because the fuzzy pictures in the report doesn’t show something so small. so we could only accept the charges under these circumstances. Ripoff, will never use them again, or recommend them.
Update 9/4: standard response to all bad reviews on trustpilot and google maps. We should have walked out and demanded our money back, like 2 other customers did for the exact same reason while we were in there.

What a scam
What a scam. I return the car and the person checking the car walks straight up to the windshield and points out a tiny imperfection in the window where a stone had hit. Charged me more than £450 for the damage. A stone hitting the windshield and causing even the tiniest damage will not go unnoticed and am certain this didn't happen with me. Avoid this place!!! I'll certainly never come back. Look at other reviews of this place!!

I was in Scotland for a vacation with…
I was in Scotland for a vacation with my family and it was a holiday season so I was looking for a car rental to hire a vehicle and almost all the rental team I have contact for vehicle but none had any vehicle available then I cane across with this company when I checked there details and reviews I have seen few negative reviews but I had no other options so I approached the Aberdeen office for a vehicle. The reason I am writing this is because I didn't had any issues with this company especially the Aberdeen branch as I saw in the review the car was so clean and was in a good condition it didn't had any issues me and my family travelled more than 1000miles and the car didn't gave any issues to our vacation and the staff at Aberdeen office was so friendly and made up rental process so smooth and easy Mo was so helpful and also told us about some good place as well
While returning the car back I have told about the negative reviews which I saw on Google and I was actually scared to get a vehicle from you guys but it all changed because we had our best vacation in Scotland
I will definitely recommend to my friends and family about this company
And I really appreciate Mr MO and his team at Aberdeen branch
I hope will meet you guys soon for my next car rental that time I should get some discount as well 😅
