Drayton by Schneider Electric Arvostelua 

I purchased the wiser thermostat and one socket controller and find them so good (particularly at the price) I have since purchased two more socket controllers. I have used their support team and they responded swiftly with all the information I asked for plus more! Highly recommend.

I got 8 TRV from Drayton as well as two room Thermostat's which I fitted to my system. When I connected to my WiFi I connected to my extension in error, so the system did not work as well as it should, but when I contacted Wiser they got back to me within a day, explaining how to connect to my main WiFi system which has worked with no problems. The only problem I have is my IHD, as mine will not connect to Wiser, IHD are locked so you need to get there one. Other than these teething problems it has worked well as seems to keep my home at a nice temperature, one of my best buys. Never know they existed until my wife read about them in a news paper article.

I had a Drayton System installed in 2017 and was assured by the company that it was appropriate for the house. They did not say that they stopped manufacturing it that year. They are now no longer supporting the Mi-Genie product and will switch it off in 3 months. I was advised to replace it all with their new system and I would get a 10% discount, but the new one can only control 2 zones, not 3.
Terrible customer support when you contact them. Avoid.
Can't see why you would use their new system when compared to Nest or Hive.

- Having read Drayton's response, I don't realy acept it. You can carry on with legacy systems and don't need to upgrade them if there are fimware limitations. I am also annoyed that when I complained to them, I was offered a 10% discount, but could actually get 40% now.
What I think we all need is a system that we have confidence will be viablle and supported for 10yrs. I think Nest or Hive will give you that, but I am afraid Drayton won't for me.
I now have 8 weeks to replace it before the app is withdrawn.

I have Drayton wiser thermostat got installed today. I was having issues with setting up and connecting with my WiFi network. I spoke to customer service technical support team. Charles who took my call and helped me to set up my account and device and also help me to activate app services as well.

I am very thankful to wiser team and also loving my new thermostat system it is much better than I had Hive before which was giving me so many problems.

I actually made right choice to choose this thermostat.

Researched this product thoroughly, even contacted Drayton support first to see if I can swap my existing Drayton LP522 controller with the Wiser Hubr. Yes, they said same backplate. Both being Drayton products makes sense they know exactly how each controller works, surely. Took off old controller added the Wiser Hubr, all setup in the app got both thermostats linked up. Great.

Increased the temperature on the thermostats the heating light kicked in on the Hubr, the flame symbols was shown on the thermostat, the boiler did NOTHING, no heating. So much for being a direct replacement made by the same company. Put old Drayton LP522 controller back on, heating works. Absolute rubbish, may look at a competitor now like Hive.

At least I can send this rubbish back to Amazon for a refund.

I purchased the wiser kit 2 to replace the miGenie system and it was simple enough to change over in just a few minutes. However the hub wouldn't connect to my WiFi. After multiple attempts I rang the support team who simply deleted my account and set it all up from scratch again. They stayed on the phone whilst I downloaded the app and set the whole thing up. Very friendly and patient. I've only been using the wiser system for 1 day but I do prefer the miGenie system so far, shame remote access was being cut off.

Easy to install and quick and relatively straight forward to setup the two thermostats and radiator valves. Still trying to ensure the two thermostats and TRVs are not competing with each other causing the boiler not to be cycling. My second wiser kit, previous home was two channel and now three channel. Customer Services helped me clear my old account. Looking for to better control and savings over the years. B

Have a MiGenie and as that is going "dumb" soon offered a new wiser control at reduced prices. Already familiar with Wiser so know it works well - only issue will be logging into the "other" account" using another e-mail account to do that or use a separate device - 1st world issue I guess.

My problem was due to a sudden failure of the wifi when a fuse blew and then the Wiser Hub failed to connect to the app correctly. It took just a few minutes to reach technical support and Charles was then able to talk me through the way to fix the problem. All back up and running again and I could not be happier with the service, or the Wiser's performance.

Great product and customer service. Much better than the Google Nest i had in my prior home.

After fitting the wiser I found could not open app had to contact admin. Now I find even if I have 4g my phone cant connect to control heating or water I have to be in a WIFI area logged in before it will connect. Not as good as MiGeni

After installing my Drayton Wiser controller I couldn't get it to work despite swapping from an older Drayton manual controller. Both the software and wiring teams were super helpful in resolving the issue which was that my standard backplate needed a few wires changing around. My plumber was able to remedy in 10 minutes! Only word of caution - DO NOT assume you can swap the Wiser controller for another older Dayton controller! It may or may not need a few wring changes.

Absolutely superb product and technical help. At my wits end after moving house, and over a couple of days and three hugely helpful phone calls it's up and running! Very friendly and professional, thank you!

I recently upgraded my Vodafone Router to their latest Super Hub. Well it wasn't very super for my Wiser HubR a lot of trouble with the WiFi connection working then failing. Wiser engineers were very helpful over a long & trying period we tried almost everything to get a stable connection. Finally I tried a suggested TP extender close to the Wiser Hub & it is working! Thanks to the engineers for their patience & persistence.

I've had my Wiser Home Hub and TRV on all my rads. I had an issue whereby I wasn't able to remotely access the hub so contacted the customer service team. They gave me very detailed instructions on how to resolve the problem and continued to support me through the process which took several attempts to identify and deal with the issues. Turns out I had more than 1 Wiser account and it just needed them getting deleted and starting afresh. Didn't effect my actual account settings which remained as they were, phew! Good customer service all round.

Patience & politeness whilst guiding an old man struggling with new tech. No

I have had 3 ZA6 actuators fail. It has taken about 2 heating seasons to determine the microswitches keep failing and sticking so pump keeps operating despite no call. Initial help from tech desk suggested problem with pump and suppressors should be fitted. Pump maker denies it could be the cause and suppressors didn't help. When asked for evidence to help with case against installer assistance from tech desk became diluted. Drayton started blaming the electrical supply in house. Never had a problem before new system was fitted. Obvious defect with microswitch but no goodwill from Drayton at all. When I suggested a better microswitch may be the answer Drayton got very defensive and cut assistance hiding behind guarentee period elapsing. Currently exploring use of relay to bypass actuator microswitch.
