Donald Russell Arvostelua

Delivered right on time, to the right place! Excellent meat, tender steak and tasty pork loin chops to be recommended to carnivores.

For me, always an excellent company with good reasonably priced products but most definitely when on offer. Apart from one-off orders through the year, I always order my Christmas and New Year meals from them and we and my friends have never been disappointed with the quality of the food. Yes, one has to know how to cook or just improvise with what products one has, but with practice this makes very excellent meals !!! Thanks.

I have been buying from DR for many years and have always been impressed with the quality of the product , the ease of ordering and the reliability of service including delivery. The prices are higher than in the supermarket but the quality of the product is such that it feels value for money. I have just had the short rib of beef delivered again for a special meal this Sunday and I know it's going to be fantastic.

Fast delivery. Excellent packaging. Good quality products

I love this company, the meat is excellent, no question. There are some items I wouldn't buy from anyone else. great service on the phone, staff are lovely and helpful. delivery is great too.

I have had the chateaubriande, the filet steak(which is fabulous) each piece is just the right size for 1 person and so tender it melts in your mouth!!. I have just placed an order for burgers, sausages and more steak 😋.Well packaged and well informed of delivery..Great service and my go to for all my meat in future…

Absolutely fabulous not only the food but the customer care is great too!

Good quality meat. Excellent delivery option . Though I would dearly love you to put cooking instructions on the packaging .

I write this review following a request from Donald Russell. I have been a customer for over 20 years but regretfully I find that the quality has fallen to below an acceptable level for me. Steaks are tough and I used to enjoy the sausages and sausage rolls but the level of bone and gristle in recent purchases has caused me to stop buying them. Now I find it difficult to buy from DR with confidence.

You ask for a review for items I have not yet received.
I ordered these items last Wednesday and will not received these items until tomorrow Wednesday which is over a week I have never before had to wait so long for an order , this is not the level of service I have received in the pass.

Great value and fantastic quality, like you used to get at good butchers. Bought lots of times and always happy.

You can't go far wrong with Donald Russell. I've regularly bought their steaks, burgers, sausage rolls and pork joints since discovering them during lockdown. They are always excellent quality. 'These are really good, are they Donald's?' Is a regular comment in our house.

I ORDERED A GOOD SELECTION OF MEAT PRODUCTS IN THE BOX WITH ICE PACKS ALL NEATLY PACKED.A GREAT SERVICE AND COURIER WHO WAS SO FRIENDLY.ALL THE STEAKS AND OTHER FOODSTUFF ARE DELICIOUS ALL NATURAL.LASTLY A GREAT COMPANY TO DEAL WITH AND I RECOMMEND DONALD RUSSELL TO ANYONE.

Website is easy to use and prices are reasonable. The food is always delicious but their stars are the chateaubriands which are cuts of beef to die for.

Have used DR since covid. From then till now, everything we ordered, had has always delivered. I'm sure we have all been out on a meal out, had a steak and been bloody terrible. Not once has that ever happened! Burgers great, sausage rolls great, mince, never had an issue with anything. Tastes lovely, hood cooking guidelines plus do some great deals. Win win.
Delivery good, packaged good. Have recommended to many friends.

Everything. Meat packed ready for freezer. Delivery on time. Driver helpful and polite. Great service!

Been using DR for years. Good quality food at great prices if you make the most of offers etc. Never had any issues that have not been easily & quickly resolved by their friendly& efficient customer service team. Shame they no longer do their wonderful chicken Kyivs & chicken cordon bleu.... Not found any others that come close. Would prefer more environmentally friendly packaging though.

This is the only place I buy my meat from. Always arrives well packaged and on time.
The meat is superb so why go elsewhere.
Excellent.

I have been a customer for years and they just get better and better. I really hope this continues as they grow as this has not been my experience with many businesses particularly those that scale then sell to investors who are less invested in the customer experience/journey. The quality of produce is outstanding; delivery is always on time with the boxes being well packed and the produce kept at the correct temperature util it reaches you. Haven't had to use customer service much but when I have it’s been courteous and knowledgeable. Their special offers, especially black Friday, are really good. I get a fed up with headlines from other suppliers offering discounts then when you visit the site it amounts to £1.50! DR's discounts are a very clever as they are good enough to entice you to buy and keep in your freeze for future use. For me the outstanding products are the chateaubriand, beef rib trim (which using the DR recipe produced the best Boeuf Bourguignon I have ever made), whole chickens and fillet steaks
