The gentleman I saw was called Paul. He explained each process as we discussed it.
I already knew what I wanted so Paul made it easier by guiding me through it. He told me about my money being safe which was a relief to hear.
My experience was easier than I thought it would be.

I had occassion to use this organisation recently to conduct the funeral service of an old lady I had power of attorney for. I have to admit, I felt the usual normally high standards that I previously experienced, have fallen dramatically. Needless to say, I won’t be using them again.

The first lady representative we were to deal with, had just returned from a break, and clearly hadn’t been given sufficient time to research the caseload she had been given - and this was evident during the discussions of the service - but it’s a sure sign that Dignity are putting pressure on staff.

However that said, the communications thereafter deteriorated even further, by receiving emails from this same representative, when she chose to address me as “hey”, I was livid and stupidly responded to her in the same amateurish manner.

But for an employee, being the face of “Dignity” This is not a very professional way to deal with families who are grieving and looking for support to guide them through a difficult time when arranging a funeral service.

I also felt I was being rushed into accepting whatever this representative presented in front of me. For example the order of service was to have unwanted images air brushed out from a picture we provided - this was not done - but it seemed a FAIT ACCOMPLI, as I was given an ultimatum to accept the document as is, due to printing deadline time being imminent.

Also, this same representative presented me with a “death notification” advising she told the local paper to have it published. The narrative was completely unacceptable, but again I initially felt I was to accept this as is. To be fair when it was challenged, a second representative was more sympathetic to the corrections and the problem was resolved.

I have to say all the drivers on the other hand, were absolutely outstanding, they were very respectful and professional, they accommodated any request we had which was outwith the normal routine.

It’s funny that one individual’s attitude, can leave an unsatisfactory taste in your mouth.

Very compassionate. I was shown lots of choices and everything was done slowly giving me time to think about my options.

Customer service was great. I was warmly welcomed and clearly given the right information and advise that i needed.
I was also contented with the plan.

I was comfortable and the process was easy and explained in full

Every aspect of my visit was superb. The surroundings were calm and relaxing. Our Funeral Director was very knowledgeable and sympathetic.

The whole team are amazing, Terri has been a god send with helping arrange the whole thing and putting our minds at ease for everything, Sarah was absolutely amazing talking us through the whole process.

So much so we have planned our funerals with the Earl of Plymouth.

I found planning my funeral with Dignity very easy and was made to feel comfortable doing it. There were things I wanted to leave for family to decide and wasn't pressured into doing what I didn't want to! I'm glad I chose Dignity funeral plan.

WiFi needs updating

Dignity funerals were very very helpful .they explained everything that you needed to know. Explained about what happens .they made me feel at ease offered me tea. Or coffee. We had a nice talk. I would gladley tell my friends to do the same . I am glad i went there.

To set up my Funeral Plan with a representative of Dignity Funerals, by giving my preferences and wishes. I was helped with this process by a staff member who was informative and explained fully every detail making it easy for me to make what I believe to be the correct decisions.

Neil from Derek Moss funeral directors was lovely and explained everything so we could understand.

Fox's in Cromer were excellent and we were truly well looked after when arranging our Fathers funeral.
The staff were very kind, professional and caring providing excellent advice and giving us time to organise our thoughts, we were not rushed through any part of arrangements.
They managed to arrange special details for our Dads funeral including ensign on coffin and flag bearers, which we did not think would be possible.
Sharon Victoria and Eric all deserve a mention ,but the whole team were very special.

Would recommend this directors if you need an understanding efficient team.
