DesignCabinet – Offizieller Herman Miller-Händler Arvostelua 

The DesignCabinet Sales team did an amazing job since first time they responded to the message I sent through their website.

I wanted a call back, just so I could ask some questions around shipping and invoice before buying what I was looking for. What actually happened was that, beyond answering all my questions, Miss Gökçe (Gigi) Kozludere understo took it from there, and concluded the entire purchase process via email in a couple of days.

Everything ran incredibly smooth and I am now waiting for the item I purchased - it'll hopefully arrive on time :) Hats off to the team and to Miss Gigi, in special, who communicated with care, clarity, professionalism and politeness in all interactions we had.

Ich habe bei DesignCabinet einen Hermann Miller Schreibtischsessel bestellt. Die angebotene Farbe sah online komplett anders aus als in echt (wirkte grünlich statt blau). Nach kurzem hin und her, war der Händler bereit einen Austausch durchzuführen und hat mir sogar die Gebühr für die Rücksendung des bereits bei mir befindlichen Stuhls erstattet. Ich war mit dem Kundenservice extrem zufrieden und kann DesignCabinet uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

I can recommend shop.
They sell you partially assembled chairs, which makes them significantly cheaper.
I had a problem with delivery and despite buying as company they allow me to exchange the chair for another. For context, company in EU law is not having same rights as private customer.
Contact is good but I assume they have many customers, therefore be patient.

I don't recommend to buy from this company if you aren't 100% sure to keep your order they won't answer emails if you try to contact them and cancel order.

Meine Erfahrung mit designcabinet ist leider sehr enttäuschend. Alles dauert extrem lange – egal ob Rückmeldung oder Bearbeitung von Anliegen. Der Kundenservice wirkt ausgelagert und ist praktisch nicht wirklich erreichbar bzw. hilfreich.

Ich habe meinen Widerruf bereits ausgeübt und bin ehrlich gesagt gespannt, wie lange ich jetzt auf die weitere Bearbeitung bzw. Rückerstattung warten muss. Insgesamt absolut keine zufriedenstellende Abwicklung.

Der bestellte Aeron Remastered ist heute endlich angekommen. Die Ware selbst ist absolut top. Der Stuhl ist hochwertig, perfekt verarbeitet und genau das, was man von einem Premiumprodukt von Herman Miller erwartet.

Leider war der Weg dorthin deutlich weniger überzeugend. Der Versand über DHL hat sich über viele Tage ohne nachvollziehbare Statusänderung hingezogen, und der Kundenservice von DesignCabinet war währenddessen praktisch nicht erreichbar. Auf meine E-Mails kam keine Antwort und auch ein telefonisch zugesagter Rückruf erfolgte nicht.

Unterm Strich:
Produkt 5/5 ⭐ – wirklich ein hervorragender Stuhl.
Kundenservice leider sehr enttäuschend.

Wer dort bestellt, sollte also Geduld mitbringen – die Ware selbst ist aber definitiv erstklassig.

Ganz ganz schlecht. Das Unternehmen hat keine eigene Telefonnummer, die Teleofnnummer im Impressum ist von einem externen Callcenter. Sie erreichen niemand telefonisch, auf Emails wird nicht reagiert. Die angegebenen Lieferzeit sind falsch, Trackinglinks funktionieren nicht. Mittlerweile habe ich das Gefühl, dass es sich um Betrug handelt.

I placed an order for a chair on 19/02 from DesignCabinet. At the time of purchase, the product was marked as in stock and the website stated delivery would take 2–3 business days.

It is now 2/03 and I have received no updates about shipping, no tracking information, and no response to my emails. I have also tried contacting them through the contact form on their website, again with no reply.

The complete lack of communication is extremely concerning. If there is a delay, that is understandable but not responding to customers at all is unacceptable. At this point, I am starting to question whether this is a legitimate business.

I would strongly advise others to be cautious.

Wenn Herman Miller wüsste, wie hier mit Kunden umgegangen wird, würden sie DesignCabinet nicht empfehlen.
7 Wochen Wartezeit auf einen Stuhl, der laut Website „auf Lager“ war.

Kommunikation / Kundenservice:
Man fühlt sich als Kunde nicht ernst genommen.
Auf E-Mails erhält man wochenlang kein Update oder nicht einmal eine einfache Antwort.
Telefonisch wird einem gesagt, die Anfrage werde weitergeleitet und man werde Kontaktiert– was in meinem Fall nie passiert ist.

Ich habe zwar einen 100-Euro-Rabatt für die Unannehmlichkeiten erhalten, jedoch macht das die mangelhafte Kommunikation und das Gefühl, ignoriert zu werden, in keiner Weise besser.

1300 Euro für einen Stuhl und man wird als Kunde ignoriert, teils irreführend informiert und insgesamt nicht ernst genommen. Das ist für ein Produkt in dieser Preisklasse schlicht inakzeptabel.

Anfang Januar bestellte ich einen kurzfristig verfügbaren Bürostuhl, seitdem gab es keine Kommunikation, zwei E-Mail Nachfragen wurden einfach ignoriert, eine telefonische Nachfrage blieb unbeantwortet. Ich bin kurz vor einem Kreditkarten Chargeback, damit ich wenigsten mein Geld kurzfristig zurückbekomme.

Ich kann nur vor dem Shop warnen

I live near Berlin. I wanted to buy a chair as a gift. The process was started but the invoice was not correct. I responded to the email to correct it (the same day) and clarify payment and I never received a response. I have sent repeated emails after this date but still recived no response. I called before christmas and this was anwered and I was told I would be called back, but this hasn't happened. I realize that Christmas has come in between, but I would expect an out-of-office or a response after the New Year. If this is the service *before* completing the order, I'm not sure after-care will be sufficient.

Update that is not an update (14-Jan): I've called three times now and have not gotten a call or email back. I also put in the ticket, but nothing from that either.

Horrible company. Ordered a very expensive chair from the, package came damaged, chair came without a wheel. They don't respond on email timely and are not sending a replacement chair

Es hat ewig gedauert bis wir unsere Bestellung erhalten haben und als das Paket dann endlich da war, war es auch noch die falsche Bestellung von einer anderen Person. Komplettversagen seitens DesignCabinet und DHL. Gerne wieder. Nicht.

Qua l'unica cosa fake sono i commenti negativi che chiaramente sono scritti da competitor invidiosi di un rivenditore in grado di fare prezzi per loro impareggiabili, con una user experience moderna (l'idea di creare un "kit" che comprende il poggiatesta più figo in circolazione è fantastica) e un processo di acquisto senza alcuna sbavatura (mail puntuali di aggiornamento post-vendita, consegna con DHL che anticipa addirittura di un giorno rispetto a quanto inizialmente comunicato). Ordine effettuato il mercoledì, prodotto arrivato il lunedì. Che volete di più?

This is by far one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. I ordered a Herman Miller Aeron chair (Graphite) and the customer service was absolutely top-notch. I’m French so it wasn’t always easy, but they helped me every step of the way!
You can 100% trust them. Honestly, I don’t get the bad reviews, they probably have the best prices in Europe, so maybe some competitors are just jealous!
Ordered the chair on Saturday, arrived on Thursday.

Excellent experience! Bought a herman miller aeron remastered from Greece, had constant communication via email with the company and the chair arrived after a week.

Lieferung und Retoure problemlos. Marketing auf der Webseite irreführend; allerdings bei Konkurrenten wie Chairgo ebenso, deshalb gibt's nur einen Stern weniger.

Ordered my first office char from them in 2023, then a second one in 2025, both of my orders were delivered very quickly, even though I'm in Hungary and the store is in Germany.

DesignCabinet are impossible to contact. If you have any question or issue with about an order or potential order: no one replies to emails sent to the address on their website. The phone number for DesignCabinet is a call center and the agents don't have access to emails you send either, they are absolutely clueless there. I phoned 4 times a week about my order and the agents did not know how to answer my query - they basically took all my details and said "we will check, thanks for your call" - and I heard nothing back. I sent emails asking for acknowledgement or any reply and am still waiting, 2 weeks later.
